One of the best Ross stores I've been to so far. It was clean and organized with a great selection of merchandise. I made a return and the process was very simple. The money was put back in my card in 2 days and I didnt make a seperate line.

Opening day was on Friday, July 19, 2024. Sunland - Tujunga residents have been watching this and waiting for this for a long time! Now we don't have to drive to La Cañada or Burbank! It is on the smaller size, as far as Ross goes. Only one floor. They have lots of discounted items for women, men & children. If you look carefully, you can find some high-end items at heavily discounted prices. Ross is always good for holiday decor and baby gifts. They also have an interesting cookie and coffee selection. DO NOT shop at this Ross! Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. Witnessed an incident this afternoon (1/31/26) where the staff was yelling and being condescending towards a paying customer. The staff was in the wrong and was trying to charge the customer more. When the customer proved she was being charged the incorrect price, the staff began yelling at her and acting completely unprofessional. Completely unacceptable! With the economy being the way it is, it definitely makes customers think carefully about where they spend their hard-earned money. My family and I will not be shopping at the Sunland Ross again! read more

One of the cleanest Rosses I've ever been to, even over a year after its opening. My husband was even impressed and he hates all of these types of stores. All of the employees have been very polite. Sunland-Tujunga needs more national restaurants and retail brands and hopefully other companies are paying attention to this Ross and our area. read more

If I could give a 0 star , would Extremely bad customer service - especially the rude manager I purchased an enameled steel cookware just a couple of hours before using it. During the very first use, the enamel cracked/chipped, even though I followed all proper usage instructions. I immediately brought it back to the store, but they refused to issue a refund or exchange because it had been used ! even though the damage clearly resulted from poor quality or a manufacturing defect, not misuse. It's extremely disappointing to spend money on something that breaks the same day and then be told you're stuck with it. I purchased 10 clothing items and a bag. The cashier was very nice as he rang me up but unfortunately forgot to remove a security tag from the 10th item he put in my bag. After paying for my clothes and a bag, when I attempted to exit and be on my merry way out, the security alarm went off. I turned around and loss prevention was already in my face proceeding to scrutinize the items in my bag and compare to the receipt. The receipt showed 10 clothing items and a bag making it 11 total items. After 3 store associates hovering over me repeatedly inspecting my clothes strewn out in a cart, they discovered the cashier had scanned item #9 twice but did not scan item #10 for some unknown reason he also left the security tag on. This ordeal was poorly handled as I was subjected to embarrassment due to onlookers in the store and mistreatment by inappropriate staff, Ricardo. I did nothing wrong but was being accused of not paying for the item with the tag left on. However, as they concluded, the cashier did not properly ring it up. Ricardo was extremely rude and said he doesn't care because mistakes happen and that's life. Instead of admitting to their mistake and apologizing for the inconvenience it caused me, let alone the accusatory tone and being made to look like a thief, Ricardo scolded me for being upset. The nerve! Ricardo lacks decency, empathy and common sense. When I left the store I called to speak to a manager but was hung up on. I called back but nobody would pick up. I called a nearby Ross store who apologized for the ordeal and gave me the number to corporate office. The corporate representative listened to my concerns and said she would report the incident to the district manager, George. My daughter later told me she experienced similar treatment. I encouraged her to escalate her concerns to their corporate office. Hold bad employees accountable! read more

WENDY was the RUDEST employee I've ever encountered in my life, starting when we first walked in she was already screaming at my sister to toss her drink instead of asking her like a normal human, and then she checks us out at the registers and has the worst attitude ever. The security guard was more helpful when we needed help on the sales floor than anyone else in that building. I would rather drive a thousand miles away to another Ross than to shop at this location. read more

Really love the selection of items this store provides. The workers could be very prejudice towards Hispanics despite having Hispanic workers. I went in twice, both times I was followed around. It felt very uncomfortable as it was obvious that I was being watched by staff and loss prevention. Both times I bought $200+ worth of products. Staff needs better training on identifying potential theft and more in depth training over implicit biases towards certain races. read more

New Ross hype so everyone was so excited for this new Ross opening. I went in 4 days after opening and the store was empty. I understand ppl cleared everything but still its the first opening week there should be more studff. Also the aisles are too close to each other 2 ppl cant be in the aisle at the sane time. Shoes aisle is a ocd nightmare . They could have designed it better. read more

I went in today to return a Christmas item that no longer was needed and the cashier took 15 minutes to get to the cash register because she was doing her own shopping in the first area came back with about four purses that she was going to have herself on time Apparently all employees do that because another girl she was chitchatting with while I was trying to ask her a question what she didn't even answer because she was too busy talking to her coworker about items. They are going to purchase during company time let's nip that blood real quick both of these ladies were Armenian, that makes a difference but maybe it does.... Get some good workers in there and they shouldn't be shopping on company time when the registers have people waiting. read more

I was there this morning, picked 8 pieces of clothing to try out! The lady by the fitting room asked me to hang them so she can count, offensive but completely understandable, she needs to do her job as instructed! While leaving the fitting room, I hung 6 pieces on the hanger right in front of her, and perfectly obvious I had only 2 pieces in my hand! I started walking away towards cashiers to pay and she yelled... ma'am u need to come back so I can check how many did u take! I turned around and said I have 2 and she said that she still needs to count! I felt like a thug, extremely disrespected and embarrassed especially that they were other people there! I went back, hung the cloths and told her she can keep them! She said u can go talk to the manager and I said it's OK, I'll never shop at Ross ever again and I won't! You can keep your $10 shirts! Wow the 2 cashiers out of 7 registers there are overworked while management just stands there giggling with lost prevention as the line for checkout builds up throughout the store. Such a poorly managed corporation. They seem to get rid of the cashiers that do the most work and help the most which is beyond my understanding. To the supervisors and managers that don't help with the line and seem to get their full 40 hours a week time in for little to no help and work. Pay not well earned. This place will fail for the greed of the management and for the overall poorly managed place. read more
