That was not the case here, upon entering we were greeted by the staff, a man and a woman both said hello and welcomed us in. The Gentleman, Jordan was his name saw the shoe box in my hand and asked how he could help. I explained I ordered the wrong size online and needed to exchange, he went to the back but they did not have the right size so he offered to find a pair online and he had them delivered to my house in four days. The whole encounter was so pleasant and his customer service skills were top notch! I hope that the managers of the store see this and let him know what an exceptional employee they have in Jordan.

So, onto my tale of a company actively working to reject new customers (I put a very brief summary at the bottom if you don't want all the detail). My teenage granddaughter gives me a pair of shoes on their site as her Christmas gift idea. She's on the other side of the country so online is the only way for me to get them to her. I step through the whole process, selecting the shoe, filling in her info, my info for the credit card, etc. and then when I try to complete the order I get an error directing me to customer service, no hint about the reason for the error. Cust service takes the entire order over the phone, her address, my address, credit card info....and order rejected, "I'm sorry sir your bank has rejected the charge". Strange because Bank Of America has always texted me immediately when a charge is rejected, with the "Is this you?" thing. I never received that. I called the bank, no, they not only didn't reject it, they never saw it. Back to cust service, a different rep again takes the order and gets the same result. Ok, let's use a different card. Same result. Normally I'd just move on to a different store but, teenage granddaughter/specific shoe/other side of the country/not many other gift ideas, so I ask for a sup. He asked if I'd ordered from them before. No, I hadn't. And with that he knew the issue immediately. They use a third party company to screen credit card charges and if you're a new customer trying to use a credit card online it automatically rejects the charge. It doesn't query the bank and, per the sup, there's no way to override it. "You'll have to go into a store". I did that, there's one not far from me, and that's where they earned back one star because the people in the store were very helpful and got it taken care of. To summarize: - Christmas season, lots of potential new customers - Online system actively rejects any new customers - 1st line cust service blames the bank for rejecting a charge - Not so, they never forward the charge to the bank, reject it in house. - Company message, "If you're not an existing customer, GO AWAY, but not until we waste your time and falsely blame your bank"

I finally found Kurt, and I'm so glad I did. He was easy to schedule with and listened to what I wanted while also providing realistic feedback regarding fabrics and how things would turn out. During measurements, he was direct about what he needed to get while also being respectful and mindful of boundaries. The suit arrived, was tweaked, and was finished with plenty of time before my wedding. Honestly, it became one of the wedding to-do list items that I worried the LEAST about. I got so many compliments on my custom suit at my wedding and felt like an absolute rockstar. I can't thank Kurt enough for helping me achieve my vision. Ladies, look no further!
