One of the best hawaiian spots here in Vegas. There are plenty of delicious hawaiian spots and this one is my favorite. Food is delicious, portions are generous, and reasonably priced. My personal favorite is the spicy Korean chicken :) I've ordered party trays of katsu and teri beef/chicken from them numerous times. Just order and pay for it a couple days ahead to make sure they have time to prepare. I never had a problem with their customer service but I always plan to not go on a busy day! read more

I was disappointed with the food that I got today. Ordered the hamburger steak- it came with a side of Mac salad as well as gravy, onions and rice. Price point was great- less than $10 for a plate lunch. I was bummed they were out of beef stew because I would have ordered that instead. The gravy was way too salty and didn't have that richness that you usually get with brown gravy. The Mac salad tasted awful- kind of like moth balls. I usually get the spicy korean chicken bowl because i already get full off that. AND it's less than 4 bucks after taxes. I got the the garlic chicken with gravy plate one time and the portions were ridiculously big! 3 big pieces of chicken w/ gravy over a mountain of rice with a side of Mac salad. After all these years I've come to this place, I am finally writing a review! I have to start out by saying this is one of the top best Hawaiian places for food! The food is always the best, super fresh, perfect portions and fast service. My girlfriend and I stopped in around noon, we walked in and there were a lot of people eating. We looked at the menu and ordered a wonton min, teriyaki chicken bowl, spicy Korean chicken bowl, fried noodles and a broccoli beef entree. They have the best saimin, full of flavor, delicious noodles and a good portion for one person. They are fast and friendly, always willing to answer any questions you may have as well as serve you up a huge dish of aloha! My Dad always chats up the cashier (Yes, he is the older, bearded man that holds up the line... sorry) and they are always really really nice to him. Oh, and the food is awesome too! I like the Korean chicken bowl which is under $4, it comes with tons of food. My Mom either gets Kim Chi Saimin (Delicious) or a mini kahlua pig (Never tried, but she loves it), a mini plate or bowl is the perfect size for an average or smaller appetite. The mini plate comes with a scoop of rice and a small scoop of yummy mac salad. The spam musubi, fried rice and teri combo plates are also delicious. I have been for a late breakfast and enjoyed the spam and eggs. If you like good coffee, you might want to skip getting a cup here. A Good place for Hawaii Local Kine Grinds. The best I've tried here is the loco mock with extra gravy, chicken katsu, mochiko chicken, Korean chicken and the won ton min is yummy just like home. Customer service 5/5, prices 5/5, and spam musubi 10/5!!! I've had some pretty bad spam musubi in my life, so it's not often that I find a place that makes one of the best spam musubis I've had in a long time. The ratio of rice, seaweed, and that slightly sweet sauce that they add into the musubi is so perfectly balanced in taste. I'm sooo lucky this location is right next to my school. A coworker suggested this place so I thought I'd try it out. Got the mixed plate (teriyaki steak, teriyaki chicken & mahi-mahi, rice and macaroni salad) as well as trying spam masubi for the first time. Portion was very filling, wasn't sure I would have been able to finish. The beef and chicken were tender. I am not a fan of fish, but the mahi-mahi was good. The Spam masubi was also tasty, especially since I have tried and did not like nori snacks by themselves nor a big fan of canned meats. This place is pretty affordable too. All in all the mixed plate, spam masubi and 2 bottles of water was only about $14 after tax. I walked almost 3 miles to try this place out & I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Really good Saiman. My wife is from Hawaii and was craving some authentic Hawaiian food. The saiman broth was flavorful. The noodles were perfect. The great thing about it, the noodles and broth were the star. They did not overload it with stuff to mask the taste. I had the cornbeef Hash with eggs and rice. It was done as they do on the island. It's comfort food for those who are familiar with Island style food. Not gourmet Iron Chef Kitchen food. The debit or credit card machine takes longer than most other businesses. 2. They keep running out of food. I have to have a backup plan for my wife and I whenever I get the dreaded "Sorry we sold out of _____". This happens so often, they have a white board to write down what sold out from the menu. 3. They can probably manage the cashier line better. It is faster to call an order in from the back of the wait line, then it is to wait in line and place your order. 4.
