    Kalbi Combo Plate
    Kameron T.

Kalbi ribs, chicken Katsu, and Chicken Teriyaki were amazing! The ribs have to be my favorite! I like that the portion size was big! The lumpia is amazing too! Four stars instead of five because I paid extra for double mac portion and it was really gross. Warm and tasted like crab? I threw it out. Also, in my katsu I kept getting little pieces of bone? That was a little weird to me. But I will order from them again!

First time at this location. Awesome food.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty good place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I thought it's was coming to Aloha Kitchen but it's OK it's a good place. Good size menu . Like those Shanghai Lumpia. Portuguese sausage was a different one that I'm use to. Don't know what the other one is but this one is OK. Great food good customers service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I wanna like this place but 3 stars is good enough. Food is really good, I have to admit. Their chicken katsu was not thick with the fried battered. It just enough. Enjoyed the meats! We have the beef, chicken and Mac salad. All great. Plenty of parking in the front. We came on a Wednesday at noon and no issues with parking. Plenty of tables to pick from and enjoy their food in the restaurant. When we walked in, very strong cleaning smell. It's a good thing that the place is clean but threw us off a bit. Service was a bit unfriendly. What you want, you order, you pay and sit down until your name is called. Not much of inviting pleasantries for sure. Pricing is a bit higher than the other Hawaiian food spot off of Galleria. Urrrghh, would I return, not sure for this one. Maybe just for their late special as it's cheap per the door's advertisement. I can't complain if it's cheap then.

Stopped in for some lunch with a friend as we were craving Hawaiian food. I heard this was an Aloha Kitchen but changed its name. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside decor was nice with all the bamboo deco and all the Honu (turtles) on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lady at the counter was nice and we placed our order. My friend had the bento plate and I had the island plate. My friend liked her plate, she enjoy the mahi mahi . My chicken katsu was good but I didn't care for the teriyaki chicken or the beef. The chicken was fatty and I think it was dusted with flour. The teriyaki beef was tough and chewy. There was also a gravy over both the chicken and beef that I didn't care for. I ate mostly the Mac salad with my side of kimchi, and the katsu. The rest I let my friend take home. Not my favorite place but I hope if you come here that you have a better experience. Njoy!

The food is delicious and the service is good, so I think I'll come here often. Also food came out fast too.

I had been wanting to try this place for a minute since it's next door to a Rubio's I frequent. I went last night and was immediately drawn to the tempura and teriyaki chicken combo. It was around $16 after tax. It came with white rice and a side of macaroni salad. I wish I had the option to sub the macaroni salad out for something else since I don't consume dairy, but no biggie. The tempura came with a dipping sauce that reminded me of dumpling sauce. Very tasty. The vegetable tempura was my fave because it was very flavorful and it was fried mixed veggies as opposed to just one vegetable. The chicken was good, but I wish the portions had been larger. The shrimp tempura was good too and what you would expect. I'll be back since the prices were good and there's more on the menu I want to try.

Always good always hot always good. One of my favorite go to spots for a filling meal and plenty to eat. Have been going to this spot for a while now, menu has plenty to offer plenty of drinks. Everything made fresh and always hot.

I really wanted to like this place bc I love supporting local and anyone that serves Hawaii style plate lunch / food. I ordered the beef stew, overall flavor was ok BUT $17 for 3 pcs of meat, 2 carrots & 1 potato just seems so wrong. The kalbi was extremely underwhelming as well, no flavor, not enough meat. Overpriced. This meal was a friendly reminder to just cook it at home.

For me this place is a hit or miss. I've ordered for delivery here a few times and each time is different. The first time I ordered, the food was gross. Everything was either old tasting, or burnt and the portions were weirdly small for the price point. I would have given a bad review and moved on but so many people I know like this place and it's close to my house so I gave it another try. Second time, everything is great. Fresh food, great flavor, perfect portion sizes. Ok, the first time was a fluke maybe. Now I can see why people love this place. Third time, just like the first! My mom actually couldn't eat her bbq chicken because it smelled off and the chicken katsu was so hard and dry, you couldn't bite through it. Ok, now you're asking yourself, why did you order yet again? Because it's been awhile 9and I forgot I didn't like this place) and I had a coupon for 50% off. So this last time I ordered was just like the second time. Fresh, delicious, authentic, tasty food. Ordering from here is like gambling, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

She had the vegan skillet breakfast w/water. Served in a huge stainless steel platter, the portions are generous. Crispy brown hash browns, fresh pinto beans, cabbage coleslaw, grits and warm tortillas (in a steaming pot). The vegan flavors excited her "discriminating" palate!! I asked her how her dish was? She responded with a "when can we come back here?!" (See pic) I ordered the Hawaiian breakfast. Two eggs scrambled, Portuguese sausage, spam, a scoop of white rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, pineapple ring w/strawberry (see pic). Hawaiian style food is imitated....and rarely duplicated outside of Hawaii. For example, the best way to cook Portuguese sausage is to grill it on a gas grill like Liliha Bakery does!! The sausage is seared (not burnt, not dry) but sweating, with juicy flavors and beautiful black charred strips!!! OMG! My mouth is watering thinking about this!! Anyway...back to Peg's...here the sausage and spam are deep fried which creates a drier and as a bit tougher experience. The macaroni salad here is the best I've ever had "outside Hawaii." When you take a scoop of it into your mouth....the flavor and texture of the moist mayonnaise mixture will "titillate and explode!!" lol! No but seriously...for the braddahs & sistas....one taste and you will be "hooked." In general, not bad. The restaurant was clean. Tables wiped and not sticky. Decor was simple and progressive. (It works!). Layout of floor plan was modern. Service is great! The staff acknowledges you upon arrival. They seat you promptly. Our food order didn't take long to arrive at our table. Our waitress checked on us and refilled our drinks. Peg's is a "keeper ". We will be back for more!

We chose Pegs due to its convenient location close to the freeway. There was no wait for our table of five just after 12pm on a Saturday. The service was quick and super friendly. One of our friends had just finished a triathlon and we had been at the lake since 6am, so we were all pretty hungry, especially him. The coffee was fresh and delicious and my cup was never empty! The portions are a good size, which suits the prices. I ordered a Denver omelet, which was good. I subbed the hash browns for the "seasoned tots" but would definitely skip as the tots were not seasoned except for maybe just salt. Not worth the upcharge when the hashbrowns tasted just fine. They have unlimited toast with the breakfasts, which is cool and they start you off with just one slice. Our friend ordered the club sandwich which looked really good and I will be excited to try it next time! Enjoy, even on the weekend!

Sorry, Matt Brady... there may be a cocktail of the day named Duckin' Delicious, but there's no…read moreduck on the menu. At least that name is apropos. Pink Duck Kitchen is a local Filipino-American fusion brunch restaurant that has maintained solid Yelp ratings and recently garnered a spot on the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Top 100 restaurants of 2025. Seeing as how it's the last Henderson spot which I hadn't tried, I decided to rectify that oversight today. I was thinking breakfast at first, but the Lamb Sandwich ($17.99) caught my eye. After clarifying the form of protein with the server, I said yes to this offering. I'm glad I did because it's a stunner. To start with, the bun is nice and soft. The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. The fries are just about perfect with a healthy amount of that Heinz goodness. I did get a bite of breakfast though. My friend's Ube Pancakes ($14.99) were cited as a dish to try on that top 100 list, and I can see why. There's plenty of ube flavor, and a good balance of a lightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The fresh mango and berries were a great touch, as was the whipped cream on the side. I'll have to have a full dish for myself one day. It wasn't as packed when we arrived as I was anticipating; I guess Sunday brunch invites a late-morning crowd though, since it started filling up. Music was top 40 stuff and not too loud. Really my only issue was the water not being ice cold. I've gotta come back to Pink Duck Kitchen since they have such a fun variety on their menu and they're one of the closest interesting restaurants to my side of town. If you live across town, it's actually drive-worthy for that lambwich alone.

We arrived at 11am, and while the vibe inside was lively and the decor was really cool (modern with Pink Duck vibes), we hit a bit of a snag right away. Despite seeing several empty tables, we were told there'd be about a 15-minute wait. Honestly, that was a little frustrating, especially when you're hungry and can clearly see open spots. We almost considered trying somewhere else, but decided to stick it out. And I'm so glad we did, because from the moment we were seated, the service was absolutely stellar! Our server, gave us great recommendations and made sure our drinks were always full. The rest of the staff we interacted with were equally friendly and efficient, they really turned the initial annoyance around. The fusion dishes here aren't just creative for creativity's sake; they're genuinely well-executed and thoughtfully balanced. $15.99 Fried Chicken & Ube Waffle - This was my dish, loved it. $16.99 Banana Nut Bread French Toast with Carmelized "Banana Cue" We went family style on this and I would order again. $16.99 Pork Belly Burger $15.99 Breakfast Burrito Everything felt fresh, vibrant, and celebrated both Filipino and American culinary traditions without either overpowering the other. The creativity in combining these flavors was executed well. I'd definitely visit Pink Duck again to sample more interesting dishes I saw on the menu. Mabuhay!

Pizza Bites were like a little crispy, buttery bites of a perfectly baked pepperoni pizza. The Cheese Sticks were crisp, hot with an exceptional cheese pull. The Chicken Strips were divine. We also had the Smash Burgers - one with pepper jack cheese and one with American cheese. First let's talk about the toasted brioche bun. When you dive into this burger the toasted brioche bun envelopes the meat and cheese (and any other veggies and sauce) and sort of arrives in your mouth ready to deliver something so delicious your stomach is going to thank you. The Chef pairs this delicious sandwich with a garlic aioli that's going to make you see this is how a smash burger is supposed to taste. We finished off our visit with the Concha Ice Cream Sandwich and a piece of NY Style Cheesecake. It was as expected sensational. What makes this place so special? I believe it's the quiet and cozy atmosphere (everyone is chowing down on the delicious food) and of course the dedication this family has to providing a delicious meal using quality ingredients as well as a desire to offer each customer a wonderful dining experience. Our server was Kelani and she was fantastic. We met the owner - on a Sunday afternoon working in the trenches with his team. I think it says a lot when the boss gets involved and makes the rounds asking customers about their experience while in his culinary care. Will we be back? Absolutely yes! We love supporting our local family businesses and next I'm even buying the t-shirt!

I don't think there is one bad thing on the menu..it has a plethora of sweet breakfast treats, savory breakfast items and even a whole selection of lunch staples - like sandwiches, salads, wraps and burgers. If you are ever stumped on what to order, just take a look around the walls inside and see all the amazing photos of their dishes hung up for display. Some of my favorites over the years are the S.O.B burger (pretzel bun, tasty sauce, crispy jalapeno bacon, yum!), the snow caps (such a fun take on eating a traditional bagel - lightly dusted with powdered sugar on top), a grilled blueberry muffin (ever had a blueberry muffin melt in your mouth? well order this and then you can say yes), the crunchberry French toast (sweet and filling, mainly to share with a friend or few) and the Tijuana turkey (but as a wrap!). Aside from those, another standout item - if you're a benedict fan - is the brisket burnt ends benedict. It is perfect and every bite makes you love it even more. If you're an OC and been visiting Sunrise for some time, they've been offering a featured menu of dishes they used to carry way back in the day for all your flavorful memories. For our most recent brunch visit, we decided it was an omelette day! I ordered a build your own omelette and my lunchmates got a Greek Omelette and the Turkey Taco Omelette. All were so tasty and fresh and with forkfuls of potatoes in between each bite, they really hit the spot. They have outdoor seating if you'd like to enjoy the weather and bring a furry friend with you (and water bowls for them too!), indoor seating at tables and a handful of higher chairs at a small breakfast bar. Keep in mind, though there is a decent sized interior for dining, most tables are set to probably seat groups of 4-6 though they may be able to accommodate larger parties. They are open every day of the week, with exception of some holidays, usually from 7:30a to about 2:00p and usually very packed on the weekends. With over 1.5k reviews on google and thousands on Yelp just under five stars, Sunrise has been around and in town for the past 20+ years for many good reasons. If you haven't visited Sunrise, met Angie and Andrew or any of the other lovely faces like Troy, Kelli, Carlos, Matt, and all the others, you absolutely need to. I hope it becomes your new favorite breakfast spot as it is for myself and many locals in town!

It's on Sunset in the same plaza as Todd's Unique Dining. They have a video poker bar from the old business but apparently dropped their liquor license, which is weird. The main dining room seems like a Mexican-style rustic diner, but the music is American oldies. The Chorizo omelet ($15.99) sounded interesting, and it really was a great option. Tender egg, finely ground sausage with warming spices, onions, mild peppers, creme fraiche, a mild salsa on the side, and an optional (for me anyway) not-as-mild roasted chili were a great combo. They offer one side with that omelet, and I chose two pancakes. I went for the Mexican Cajeta Pancakes (+$1.99), which were fluffy enough but not the absolute best. I did enjoy them with the dulce de leche and condensed milk combo more than the side syrup. I also asked the server for an agua fresca recommendation and went with it. The Jamaica ($3.49) wouldn't have been my choice, but the mildly sweet concoction worked great in between bites of chorizo omelet and also stayed sweet enough between pancake bites while revealing more of the tart hibiscus notes. Huevos Avenue is a very good overall restaurant that deserves much more business than I witnessed today, especially considering that Henderson still does not have as many great spots as it should. Check them out for Mexican breakfast if you find yourself in the area.

My…read moregirlfriends and I were looking for a breakfast place close to a sewing studio we were going to that afternoon that also had a decent selection of vegan and vegetarian options. We were greeted right away and led to our booth. He took our drink orders while we waited for the rest of our party, and once they arrived, we were told about their cinnamon rolls. 2 people in our party were vegan so we skipped it, but I will be trying it when we come back. I got the orange juice to drink and the french toast with a side of grits (because I feel like it's rare to find a place that does just straight grits in Vegas). Orange juice was a good size for the price, and the side of grits was a hefty portion, I was super excited for that. The french toast had cream and fresh berries on top. The french toast was soaked and griddled to perfection, thick bread that takes on the moisture very well. And the berries kick it up a notch! They have a good selection of vegan and vegetarian food, which our friends loved! When we finished up, we were offered complimentary cookies. They were warm and sooooo good! The service here was phenomenal. Our waitress was so nice and we were having quite a laugh with her, we had a great time. It wasn't too busy in here and this place is kind of tucked away, but more people need to check it out! I will absolutely be coming back to try a savory breakfast along with that cinnamon roll!

Just like it says on the outside: JUST GOOD FOOD…read more Zenaida's Cafe is very unassuming, not much too look at from the outside. I'd call it a medium size venue with a decent amount of seating. Most definitely has that mom and pop, small business vibe to it, along with that old fashioned diner feel. You don't have to worry about parking, the lot in the plaza has plenty of spaces. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. #JUSTGOODFOOD: ~ HOUSE SPECIALTIES: JERK CHICKEN HASH - 3.5/5 Thought I'd give this a try. To me it was more like 3 *** rounded up to 3.5 **** While the dish was tasty, and prepared just like I ordered. There was hardly any "Jerk Chicken" just a few pieces of shredded chicken underneath. If this had more "Jerk Chicken" it would be a 4.5 ***** in my book. ~ Complimentary Chocolate Chip Cookie - 5/5 This was RIDICULOUS! They present you with a complimentary Chocolate Chip Cookie for dessert when you are done. The Cookie has a good amount of Chocolate Chips and had a thin layer of something on top, possibly condensed Milk. AMAZING! Soft, warm, gooey, chewy... basically a perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie. I would buy this by the dozen! I'd come back...
