Our cabinets were showing signs of wear and tear, sun damage and drips from water. They were originally a stained cabinet from Home Depot and looked pretty sad. Carlos and Eric were scheduled and showed up when expected and had everything they weren't going to paint meticulously taped off and covered in one day. Drawer fronts and cupboard doors were removed and taken to their shop. The sanding and degreasing took another day and maybe 1/2. Then they primed everything. Then they painted. The whole job went from Monday through Thursday. The guys were very thorough and careful with everything. They worked hard the whole time. When the paint was dry, they put everything back and placed new hardware we had picked on all the drawers and cabinet doors. It looks so good! So smooth! Highly recommend this company. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE A SCAM…read more My neighbors hired this company to stain our shared cedar fence, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. I worked directly with Grant, who assured me multiple times that the fence would be fully stripped of the previous stain before any new stain was applied. This was a major part of the agreement and it did not happen. We only agreed to move forward with the semi-transparent stain he recommended because he guaranteed that the old stain would be removed and that the new product would cover evenly. Instead, the previous stain was not stripped and is clearly visible through the new coat, leaving the fence patchy and inconsistent. To make matters worse, the oil-based stain that was applied was not properly sealed, which defeats the purpose of using that product in the first place. I recently had my own crew stain another section of the same fence after fully stripping it to bare wood, and the difference in quality is dramatic. The work completed by this company is noticeably lighter, uneven, and simply not what was promised. I also called the company directly to understand what needed to happen to address the issues under their 2-year workmanship warranty. The woman who answered the phone told me I was the only one with a problem and that nothing would be done. This response made it clear that the company has no intention of standing behind its work. When I reached back out to Grant, he told me the job "looked good," and then stopped responding. Between the poor workmanship, the misleading commitments, and the refusal to honor their own warranty, it is clear this company does not care about customers or quality. This is going to be a long review because just writing that Mike was professional and did a great…read morejob, does not do our experience justice. We recently bought a home and needed the entire interior painted. I reached out to a few painters for estimates and Mike was the first to get back to me. I have worked with many professionals over the years and the service that Mike provided was the best I've ever experienced! First, he offered to come to our home for a walk through to provide an estimate the same day we hopped on a call. He gave great advice and suggestions on what was worth painting and I didn't feel like he was just trying to pocket more money. He was honest and actually tried his best to work with our budget. Compared to all of the other quotes I received, his pricing was fair and he even removed plantation shutters throughout the house at no additional charge. Another huge thing for us was timeline and Mike was able to get the job done within 4-5 days, whereas other companies were telling us 5-10 days. Now the reason why I believe Mike deserves 10+ stars is because of his accommodations, professionalism, and patience. I am probably the pickiest person in the world and crashed out over 50 shades of white paint lol. I wanted to find the perfect creamy white and went to town swatching the walls. After 8 different samples and 20+ swatches, I narrowed it down to two but still couldn't figure out what color I wanted to go with. To help me, Mike swatched the two colors side by side on the entire wall. It was two massive swatches to help me better visualize the color and I still couldn't decide! What he did next saved me thousands of dollars cause I honestly think if he had not done this, I would've picked the wrong shade and would've begged for him to come back and repaint the house lol. He swatched an entire wall one color and a different wall the other color and didn't tell me which was what. The fact that he did this was insane to me cause he could've easily done a dinky little swatch or recommended a color (knowing I wouldn't like it) and charge me thousands of dollars after to fix it. This really goes to show how honest and genuine of a person Mike is. I walked into the house and immediately was drawn to one wall, and hated how the other wall looked. My decision was final but at this point Mike could tell the type of person I am (LOL) so he suggested we color drench the doors, baseboards, and trim the same color but different sheen since he believed I probably wouldn't like the contrast of pure white compared to the color on the walls. He was correct in thinking this because color drenching was the way to go lol. I really feel like Mike went above and beyond and if it weren't for him, I probably would have picked the wrong color for the house and hated everything. But thanks to him, I felt confident in my decision and he even made great suggestions that I had not considered! I am SO grateful for his expertise and patience throughout this process. We also needed some areas touched up after they were finished and he came right away to touch those spots up. 10000% would recommend Mike/Hire a Painter to anyone.
