The counselors are genuinely interested in each camper and invest in your life. Some of my best friends to this day are the ones I met my first few years at camp. The lake is beautiful and the food is great. Younger kids are kept active with awesome activities and games, while the older campers are given a more relaxed schedule to build incredible relationships with one another. This is a Seventh-Day Adventist run camp, and is available for large group rentals most times of…read morethe year (except for summer months, when camps are running). It is a little more of a resort than a camp, as lodges are multi-storied and there is little rustic feelings remaining along the waterfront (although a hike up the mountain will find satisfy a desire for solitude). But it is beautiful! Hayden Lake is surrounded by rich cabins, and Camp MiVoden is a more affordable vista for the average citizen. The waterfront is well-maintained and the beach volleyball court is a joy to play on. They also have horses and challenge ropes courses available. During the early summer months, MiVoden runs kids' camps, with options available for kids in 1st grade through high school. Family camps are also very popular (call it a resort more than a camp, if you dare). They happen in August. Visit http://www.mivoden.com/ for more info on dates. A lot of non-Adventist kids and families go here, and staff here have a positive attitude about life in general. Overall, it's a fun place to spend a summer week at! They should get zero stars. Had my 3 kids in a flag football camp. Coaches clearly not trained to…read moremanage children. They had no control over the camp which included boys (mine included) being bullied (e.g., verbal and physical--punched, slapped) and ignored. Would advise *highly* you find a more reputable camp for your kids.

They were all very kind, and accommodating. Clean, great atmosphere, delicious food made by the kitchen staff, and God can be found in every square inch of the property!!
