We would give Rossellini's a perfect 10! We stopped in yesterday afternoon to check out the menu, and were greeted by Edwin, the head bartender and head server. He was warm, welcoming and described some of the items that are home made, including the flat bread and tapenade, and the appetizer of housemade fresh mozzarella, with prosciutto, fresh basil , drizzled with a wonderful balsamic vinegar. The interior is warm and inviting.All of the above made our decision to dine there last evening. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and remembered by Edwin, who sat us in a cozy comfortable booth. Our server, Anthony came over immediately and asked for our drink orders and informed us of the evenings specials. Anthony was professional,warm and took excellent care of us. We both shared the housemade fresh mozzarelIa stuffed with the prosciuto, fresh basil, and balsamic vinegar. It was a beautiful presentation and so delicious, we took our time enjoying it. I ordered Shrimp Fra Diavolo, which was not on the menu and it was amazing. Pasta cooked al dente, the shrimp cooked to perfection and "mamma's red sauce delicious and seasoned to perfection. My husband had the Farfalle alla, bowtie pasta tossed with Shrimp, lemon julienne, fresh tomatoes, white wine and Mamma's red sauce. Again pasta cooked al dente, the shrimp cooked to perfection and "Mamma's " red sauce so delicious . Both of our meals were beautiful presentations. My husband ordered a bottle of Barbera Italian red wine, and Anthony offered to decant the bottle, and did a superb job, as well as taking such good care of us. We also had the opportunity to met and chat with Lounny, the bartender, and another server, Christian. Delightful young men, and made us feel welcomed. We found the food a perfect 10, we found Edwin, Anthony, Lounny and Christian to be professional, warm and perfect 10's! If you have not dined at Rossellinis Restaurant in Daytona Beach Florida you are missing out on a very special restaurant. Friday 5/3/19, I called them late in the evening asking if they could accommodate our large group. The kids had been competing all day in the All Service Nationals Drill Competition at the Daytona Convention Center (and took 1st place overall!). We wanted a place to have a nice dinner and celebrate. They told us to come on in- arriving at 830pm. They did not disappoint! Our server was Richard, and he was amazing. There were over 40 of us in our party and we left very happy. The food was delicious- served family style. Amazing food, wine selections, and atmosphere. They have an open kitchen which I enjoy. We received pita bread with tamponade which was wonderful. Caesar was well prepared. Chicken parm that my wife had was delicious. Mamma Mia chicken was very good and well portioned. The white Zinfandel was very good as well. I will be coming back here the next time I am in town. My boyfriend and I find ourselves in Daytona Beach at least three times a year for the last two years and we normally leave Daytona Beach to find something good to eat but we LOVE this place. That's saying a lot since my boyfriend will NOT go out for Italian food. The food was yummy and the waiter was really nice and friendly. The only downside was the parking. But I can deal with that. Walked in with a friend and thought I was back in NYC. Very traditional Italian and lovely BUT decor is in need of updating and cleaning. Wine list was great and my Riesling was wonderful. Bread was home baked I think and delicious. Everything is alacart and somewhat expensive. Caesar Salad was huge and we split but dressing was just OK, croutons were stale. Literally just had dinner here tonight. Was a little skeptical when the waiter was excited about being open 10yrs and having decor dates much beyond that, however..was very pleasantly surprised. My son had prosciutto wrapped filet that was amazing.. my other had chicken fettuccine Alfredo that was so good that even after finishing my Gnocchi I couldn't stop eating it. Originally we weren't too sure about the place because Yelp only gave it 3 1/2 stars, but once we were seated and greeted by our waitress we were pleasantly surprised by what was in front of us. Our waitress Trish brought us some bread and kindly guided us around the appetizer menu. She suggested the caprese salad and it was very delicious! The mozzarella is homemade and melted ever so slightly on top of the tomatoes which was laid on top of oil and balsamic reduction. I highly recommend it. For dinner Trish guided us through the menu once again and after narrowing it down between lasagna and tortellini, Trish suggested tortellini, which was a perfect portion and tasted wonderful. My dad had it narrowed down between filet mignon, tilapia, and the fish platter, and Trish suggested the filet mignon. The piece of meat was big and delicious and he ordered double vegetables, which were great as well. The only critique we had was that we had to wait for our bill for a few minutes, but our waitress was playing part bar tender part waitress. And just a suggestion.. The olive spread served with the bread was alright for our likings, but if you mix it with a little oil, salt and pepper it was much better! read more

Truly the best pizza I've ever had. To have 3 great components---crust was Devine, sauce authentically perfect, and the homemade mozzarella was heavenly. The service was excellent. Visiting from out of town and tried to look for a nice Italian restaurant. The inside was decent but barely had six people in the entire restaurant. My fiancé and I ordered and her dish was absolutely terrible and mine was a little below average. We asked for more bread and we ended up getting charged for bread! We ordered main entrées that anywhere else you would assume comes with soup or salad and ours came with neither. We ordered fried calamari and normally most places serve it also with cocktail sauce and when I asked for cocktail sauce, he brought it in a very tiny to go ketchup container and spilled some of it on my brand new $1600 iPhone. The Diet Coke was either flat or had something wrong with it because it tasted terrible. Every time we would ask for something it seemed like they were being bothered when in reality I would assume a business would be appreciative to have business being that it was dead in there. read more

We ordered lasagna and pomodoro. The flat bread came out first with it's black and green olive concoction. It was pretty tasty regardless of how it looked. The lasagna was a decent piece and the pomodoro was enough to completely fill the plate. My reason for three stars was both of the meals were to overloaded with sauce for my taste. The sauces tended to drown out the other flavors. Also be warned, a fountain drink at this establishment is not refillable. You will be charged each time. We had a large party so I understand it can be difficult. I ordered the Lasagna, not good. I've had lasagna all over the world and it tasted like microwave food. I also ordered a bottle of wine to split with one other person and for some reason it was split between the other 8 people at the table drinking wine. STAY AWAY! We made a reservation on Open Table for 7:15. We arrived right at 7:10. We walked past the line waiting outside to find someone to tell them we were here for our reservation but couldn't find anyone to help us. Just so you know, all the people in the line said to us, that they do not take reservations. Well sorry, I had my confirmation on my phone that says they do. I finally spoke to a server named Richard, he apologized and pointed to a table that would be ready soon. We went to the bar to get a drink, but that was a disaster, a total story for another day. Some lady in the line with no reservations began to throw a fit that we were to be seated to her party of the same amount (she had no reservations). She screamed and yelled so long that they, of course, seated her party first. So we stood there unable to get a drink from the bar. Finally, a table came available for our number, so I went to find who I thought was a manager. I asked him if that was our table. His response was, "What do you want me to do?" I replied, " Well is that our table?" he said "Did you have a reservation? If so sit your ass down." I was blown away by his response. Richard who we first to talk to us was our server, and he was amazing. He tried so hard to make our dinner amazing. And to be honest, it was. The food was great. The drinks that Richard made were awesome, and his service was the BEST! But let me tell you who the so-called "manager' was! It was the owner's brother Andreas! Are you kidding me? Why would the owner trust his customers with such a mean hearted person? There were four families that witnessed his behavior to me, and all came over to console me. When we walked in there was no one there which made us nervous but we pushed ahead. The service was fine, not the best but nothing horrible. The food was sub-par. The fettuccini alfredo tasted like a TV dinner and the spaghetti and meatballs like canned spaghetti. Not worth the walk it took to get there. read more

Upon making a reservation for 20 a week in advance, we got there on time and were seated. For an expensive Italian Restaurant, we were shocked to have cheap paper napkins instead of cloth napkins. It took the waitress 10 minutes to greet us and bring waters, and we still had no menus. We were informed there would be no pizzas that night as well as no veal chop, no lamp chop, and an additional item was also not available. The food was good, but portions weren't great for an Italian restaurant. Ordered calamari, never came. There was also sauce spilled from a plate into the hair of a girl in our party, no apology. Will not be coming back. We also ordered a dish with no mushrooms that was given to someone else... they remade and the waitress was rude to us telling us that she needed the messed up dish when it was never dropped off. Went with my girlfriend and grandmother and their dishes were sooo yummy as well!! Authentic cuisine. You do have to pay a little extra when paying with a credit card, but it's worth it! I can honestly say that I wish we hadn't gone here. All of the following were well below par: food, service, price. We had to send food back and then some of what we ordered never came. We had to remind the waiter to not charge us for the food that never came. The staff spent most of the time talking about the previous nights exploits as customers waited. I normally don't mind if something goes wrong in a place, it happens to the best. But this was just all around painful. Maybe they were just having an 'off' night. To close the night, our server, the proclaimed "owner" tried to refuse seperating each persons check. I went there for dinner tonight and found black curly hair in our dessert. The manager didn't even come out to apologize nor was any discount given.
