Arrived on time for our 7pm reservation. There was no hostess and we had to look around for someone to seat us. The restaurant was pretty crowded due to it being a race weekend. Once seated it was a good 15 minutes before someone greeted us. Someone (not our server) finally took our drink order which took another 15 minutes to show up. We finally ordered a salad, appetizer and two entrees. Thirty minutes later the entrees showed up, no salad or appetizer. The entrees were cold. What a great find! I overheard the desk clerk recommend this place, so we decided to check it out. We were definitely NOT disappointed. I am a fettuccine Alfredo snob, and this one scored in my top 3 all time favorites. And you MUST try the meatballs .. OMG! Oh, and they give an olive spread with the bread that is worth a try too. I do not like olives, but decided to put my big girl pants on and try it. I wasn't sad that I did. My daughter and son had the chicken parmigiana and weren't too impressed as they said the chicken was dry. I would normally knock a star off for this, but the service made up for it. Sat at bar to eat. It's odd that they don't have a bartender per se, but didn't negatively impact my meal. In fact, the woman who did pour my wine was very friendly. Speaking of the wine, though, what a sad selection. Almost all their wines were Italian, which obviously in and of itself should be a plus. But each of the ones I had a glass of was of poor quality. one was like drinking balsamic. they were so mid at best that I decided to research them online and see what reviewers and enthusiasts thought as well as what their price is at the store. most of them sell for $12.99. At that price point, you know you're not getting anything good. even if they just got a little closer to the $20 mark that translates to significantly better wine. Crappy wine, distracts from the meal, rather than enhances it. the glasses were between nine and $11 apiece so it's a little more than the gross 400% markup you often see. Just get a higher quality wine pump, the price of a glass up by a buck or so. as it stands now, these wines rated between a 3.5 and 3.9 don't help make food better. Rather, it almost speaks to general averageness being the goal. One plus was the homemade mozzarella. The lasagna though was pretty average. Price was decent--especially for Daytona where everything is overpriced--but it wasn't anything special. Generous portion, but rather bland. I have to reiterate how wonderful this place is. In 2021 my husband and I were on vacation and ate dinner here and it was the best meal I have ever eaten (I'm 60). Well its 2024 and my guys did Jeep Beach this year and brought home the Lobster Pasta for me. Well the chef cooked it to perfection, again. But what is so great about the staff here is they packed my meal for a 3 hour ride home, taking care to separate the pasta from the sauce & even clear wrapped the take-out box so nothing dripped out. My guys put the meal in a hot/cold cooler and the dinner was still warm when they arrived home. So I wanted to extend a big Thank you to the staff for not disappointing. You guys are the best and the meal was just as good this time as the last. read more

Apparently this who call in take precedence of customers physically in the restaurant. The food was okay but the menu does not identify all of the meats in dishes so be sure to let your server know of any food allergies because you can't go off the menu alone. It was recommended by our hotel. I really wanted to like the place. Service was prompt and both waitresses were friendly and attentive. The portions are good size for the price. The menu selection needs updating. (Ie vegan options) red sauces were good flavor. Veal was on the salty side. Mushrooms on the side were very good. Took 2x as long to deliver as promised, Alfredo sauce was runny and uninteresting. Chicken was tasty but incredibly and inedibly salty. Salads didn't come with dressing and were incredibly expensive for what we got. Cappellini Al Pomodoro Pasta was clumpy and insubstantial. Two entrees and two salads. $70 delivered with tip. Insane. Had a great experience! Meant to visit the last time we were in town but ran out of time but glad we made it this time and will definitely be back. Excellent service from Ricardo and (I believe it was) Vincenzo. Started with the fried calamari which was good (could have used a little more seasoning though), the marinara was delicious. The bread with pesto was good as well and the oysters were good and pretty fresh (was taken aback when told they didn't have crackers for the raw oysters but they were still good)!! Also had a drink that was suggested on the chalk board and it was great. Had already eaten before coming so couldn't eat much more but hopefully we are able to try the pasta or chicken Parmesan next time. I'm still mad I didn't get to return for my tiramisu!! My family and I came here on Mothers Day. The food was okay. The service was not good. We felt rushed the whole time, and the place was empty. At one point as we were filling out our bill, the waiter came over and asked if we were doing filling it out (after our card was already ran). Our appetizer was cleared off of our table while we were still eating. It was not a very good experience. I ordered some shrimp scampi, and it tasted like burned olive oil. There was no white white or lemon added; just noodles and shrimp with olive oil. We also got an order of the family size fettuccine. That was actually very tasty and came in a good portion. The food order with GrubHub was delivered to the wrong address. We were staying at the Daytona Grande Hotel and they left our food order at the address based upon GPS which was wrong, although I specifically stated the Hotel name. Our food order was not sealed in tamper proof packaging, so we are not sure if the food had been tampered with. Definitely not okay. The order contained four items yet there were no utensils, napkins etc. My wife and I called the restaurant, and spoke with a Manager who advised me of other issues with GrubHub detailing that utensils must be requested at time of order, containers not kept level so sauces don't spill etc. However, your restaurant chooses to continue a relationship with an entity knowing their practices cause food delivered on your behalf doesn't meet expectations. A nice little Italian place not too far from the beach boardwalk. They have outdoor seating as well. Staff was very courteous and checked on us with our meal. They provide you with a fresh bread basket with pesto which was delicious. The meals itself were good enough for two (or to take leftovers home). I got the eggplant parm and my father got the chicken parm which we both enjoyed. However prices are a little on the high side, so expect the bill to be high if you get apps, drinks, entrees and dessert. We just stuck to the meals with tap water, which cost us 30 bucks + tip. Would definitely recommend this place for the great Italian food, and location of it being near the Daytona pier. read more
