Might be a double but not sure

I stayed next door at Streamline Hotel with rooftop bar (cool but one-time thing--far from peaceful). Anyway, this is right next door. I wasn't sure what to expect because while most reviews are great, some are very low (mostly due to service). I sat at the bar and had good service. I didn't love that the credit card up-charge wasn't indicated on the menu, but they did come back to explain that you only pay the advertised price on the menu if you pay with cash. Whatever. Anyway, the Chicken Parm was a much larger portion than I expected and very good. Definitely recommended! Pasta was good but a little thick for Angel Hair (no big deal). Bread was good. Overall, even despite the up-charge, you get great value here based on size and quality of meal for the price you pay. Go for it!

The service was friendly. I was an early diner so it was difficult to judge ambience. The food was tasty but the presentation lacked flair.

We came in from Buffalo NY to have Italian. Don't let the exterior fool you .This restaurant is a gem inside. It's beautiful. Theusic just enhanced the experience. I had wine with Chicken Mama Mia. Hubby had pasta with mussels and clams In wine sauce. The good was Soo delish. Best Italian we've ever had. The service was awesome. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Desserts are yummmmm.

The food was delicious and service was good. They were definitely a little short staffed but it was a busy weeekend. They have a full bar and the martini was great.

3-20-25. Enjoyed their salad and their marinara. Hot fresh bread was very good. The supreme shrimp at $30 had 13 large shrimp just a tad over done and saturated in their butter sauce (order it light on the sauce). My wife had the eggplant parmigiana which was a very large serving so she shared some of her pasta with me and it was perfect. She devoured the eggplant, no sharing of that veggie. The table was set with a cloth top and a paper overlay, paper napkins at the tables but surprisingly the bar patrons got cloth napkins which should also be at the tables for the prices. We will likely try this restaurant again when we revisit and maybe next time they'll get five stars. If this review was helpful please give it a thumbs up thanks

Food was amazing like always and wait staff was amazing. Only thing missing was Malcom. I do wish to see him back as he had amazing welcoming personality.

I was craving Italian and we passed by here and turned around as it looked appealing. It was 6pm on a Friday and there were only 2 tables of customers, so we were happy they had room for us. The I side is very cute, and they also have outside dining. There's is a nice bar when you walk in, which looked nice. The only odd thing was that the music they had playing was a radio station, so you heard commercials. Very odd. Our server was super friendly and quickly got the glass of wine I ordered. There were a variety of wines you could get by the glass. The menu was full of a variety of pastas, as well as chicken and seafood dishes. I wanted pasta, and settled on the gnocchi. They brought Italian bread while we were waiting, along with a pesto topping. It was less than 5 minutes later and our food arrived. It was piping hot, and looked and smelled wonderful. Our server brought parmesan cheese and I was ready to go. This gnocchi was great! They were light dough balls that practically melted in your mouth. The sauce was every bit as good. Service was great the entire time. My reasoning for 4 stars is that we felt they were trying to turn out table over so fast, even though there were mostly empty tables. We had a glass of wine and a meal and were done in 35 minutes, and that was only because we lingered a bit after paying our check. Our date night turned into a quickie, which isn't what we anticipated,

We had the fresh Chesapeake oysters, which were very good and affordable. Rounded things out with an Aperol Spritz and Adult coffee cocktail. Daisy served us and was pleasant and hospitable.

Atmosphere - Nice. The restaurant is decorated nicely. The only complaint I would have is the music chosen. It was a radio station that played odd music for a nice Italian restaurant. Service - Excellent. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Food - Very Good. I ordered the Parppadelle Bolognese. The portion was large and it was served hot. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the meat sauce was very good. I don't think I have ever seen so much meat in a bolognese. My only complaint would be that the meal was delivered to our table in roughly 10 minutes after being ordered. We barely had time to enjoy the glass of wine we ordered and the fresh bread brought to the table. Overall Value - very good. The restaurant checks all of the boxes. With a little improvement in the ambiance and a little less rush, this would be a 5 star experience

I felt it was difficult (within walking distance from the Hilton) to find nicer bars where you could lounge, enjoy the ambiance, and also have a nicer selection of wine and spirits. So I'm glad I (literally) didn't have to walk anywhere to enjoy exactly that. This is what made my experience at McCoy's Rum Room great: - I love the decor. The plush couches. The finishes and thoughtful touches they added (like the lighting and curtains). The space comes together nicely, is airy and spacious, welcoming and posh. - I liked (not loved) the drink list. The wine selection for red was on point, bubbly was a little low class, but the cocktail list seemed fun and I enjoyed a Raspberry Collins - Which the bartender was happy to accommodate my additional asks (less sugar, extra lime) and in general, he was SO friendly, attentive and nice. - They have a short but GOOD bar food menu that included bigger items (like burgers) and a nice selection of light bites (I had the hummus plate, which was really nice, and also quite inexpensive ($8) and LARGE). Good thing I was drunk and hungry. I really enjoyed this bar. I recommend it and when I come back to Daytona and stay at the Hilton, I'll definitely be back!
