We were sooooo hungry! We didn't intend on dining here. We tried to go elsewhere but the wait was almost three hours for a table. This was the first place we found that wasn't super packed. Here's how it went down. When we walked in, a server sort of yelled at us to go somewhere in particular to sit, but she was running around and we couldn't understand her. We just sort of... milled around, feeling like fools, until someone else told us where to go. They seated us on the patio, which was fine. We asked our server for a kid menu, which she did bring... but it was at least ten to fifteen minutes later. We waited... and waited... and waited to finally order. Then.... We waited some more. When the food finally arrived, it looked great! Here's the scoop on the grub: Lasagna- super heavy on the sauce. One person really liked it (with the sauce scraped off), the other didn't like it at all. It was pretty mushy and had a bitter taste to it. Ravioli shrimp dish- it was well received! Very tasty! It's five raviolis with five pieces of shrimp. Bruschetta- it was... fine. A bit burned but if I ate around the burned parts, it was ok. It was four small pieces. Beverages were water for everyone. After we ate, we then had to wait... and waited some more. Oh the waiting! We sat for about 45 minutes after eating, just waiting for dishes to be cleared and to get the check. We are totally understanding if they're short staffed or super busy. But it felt like neither of these were the case. There were loads of empty tables and several staff members. But it appeared that the other tables were being taken care of while we sat and waited. Our server was apologetic and we appreciated that. But the hits just kept coming. I don't often leave one star reviews but in the end, we ended up with an $80 check for food that wasn't amazing, sub par service and a lot of time wasted sitting around. Like... a lot of time. Pretty displeased, unfortunately. ***update*** The next day, as we went to pitch our To Go container of leftover lasagna, guess what we saw!! Our left overs were not our left overs. Definitely NOT disappointed. It was very quiet, they don't have a dress code so we were able to get in after our day at the beach. The service was great and quick. Our waitress would check up on us a couple of times which was so helpful. We ordered and the food came out so quick. The food was fresh and hot. They provided bread as a starter and it was also good. My bf got the chicken parm & I got the ravioli. He is a chicken parm person so he knows what's good and what's not, he said it was really good and thin. I went here for bike week in October. I stayed for about 3 days and as a picky eater I only ate here for those days. I'm seriously in love, the food was so good. I don't know what they put in this stuff but they need to contact me and tell me because I'm going crazy about it. Their spaghetti makes all other Italian restaurants taste like old fast food. It's like this was the only time I ever ate good, I went home feeling starved knowing I'll have to wait another year to eat this. I literally considered moving to Daytona just so I can eat here everyday. If this place ever starts to fail as a business call me and I will fix that because I'm not letting this restaurant go down. The day this restaurant fails is the day my life ends and I mean that. Whoever created this place just know I love you Only bad thing I have to say is that I ordered their spaghetti on DoorDash, spent about 20 for it, I got there and they told me they don't do DoorDash and I have to pay for the spaghetti again even though I had just paid for it on DoorDash. What an amazing little gem of an Italian restaurant by the ocean, where seafood should rule and honestly it kind of does here. out of convenience, I walked over from my hotel to order a salad and the waitress suggested the seafood salad so I rolled the dice and gave it a shot. Well what a surprise to find tender squid, octopus, clams, shrimp and mussels over mixed greens served with some warm bread and a bread sauce I can only describe as magically delicious seems to be made from oil, garlic and oregano, but that's just a guess. House dressing, some kind of oil and vinegar mix was also incredible. I have eaten here over the years before, but never tried the seafood. Despite issues with the service, we enjoyed our meal and felt like we got a lot of food at a reasonable price. As others have stated, the service was slow and disorganized. Our server was apologetic and seemed to be doing her best but it didn't seem like anyone was helping each other. It took us a very long time to be seated outside and it wasn't very busy. When we finally ordered, we decided to keep it simple and order the family style spaghetti and meatballs which was enough for 3 adults and 1 child with plenty of leftovers. The sauce was rich and tangy and the meatballs were moist and seasoned perfectly. We didn't have any drinks because we weren't offered anything besides water and we didn't want to complicate things. The food the Ravi lobster ravioli was delicious although Cindy didn't even wanna give me a whole one she wasn't sharing very nicely I ordered the eggplant à la, totally delicious. Lorraine had chicken palm which was awesome as well. My salad, fresh delicious and dessert, tiramisu sensational, and I had Italian cheesecake yummy to sum it up. All female group sat down to eat was not asked if we wanted anything to drink, and when we did ask for a cocktail we were asked if we were driving or walking like really we were not drunk! She also brought the check without asking if we were done and made a snide remark 'it's gonna take a minute" when we asked for it split for each of us. I was taken to this particular restaurant by two friends, who raved about their food, and wanted to take me out for my 55th birthday.. seeing I was in town. So glad they took me here! I had a Lobster pasta with garlic bread that was out of this world! I didn't want it to end. Delicious and plentiful too! My friends had steaks and enjoyed them as well! Our Bartender/server (Kyrie) was fantastic and suggested my meal and my dessert as well.. which as ridiculously delicious! Terrific Tiramisu it should be called! If I could give them no stars I would. I've eaten a lot of pizza in my day, and their pizza is by far the worst I've ever had. Greasy, runny, and just plain bad. I've eaten there a couple of times before because I live in the neighborhood and was unimpressed. Figured I'd try their pizza. Big mistake. Went here craving some authentic Italian food and I was not disappointed! I went with a group of 4 and we each were so satisfied with our meals. We started with a bruschetta appetizer which was absolutely delicious. It came with 4 pieces, so we ordered 2 for the table. We then got our entrees. My boyfriend got the fettuccine alla lobster, and it was an absolutely stunning plate. I was so tempted to try some of his- and I'm allergic! He said it was just as delicious as it looked! I got the gnocchi, and I was so happy with the lightness of the dish. Some gnocchi can be really heavy, and this one was just right. The red sauce was a great matching texture. The service was so speedy. We waited no more than 10 minutes between each course. The four of us dining took less than an hour. Perfect for the hungry crowd! The patio is beautiful, but we chose to sit indoors since the main road can get rowdy sometimes. Parking is limited, but there's a very convenient lot a short walk away. read more

The ambience of this restaurant is lovely. However do not consider eating at the bar. It's good for a before dinner drink but not comfortable to enjoy a dinner. It's staged too far away from the bar stools So, we moved to a nice table for 2 and ordered our meals. My sister had spaghetti with meatballs that she enjoyed. I ordered a house recommended dish with bow tie pasta, tomatoes , & shrimp. The meals and drinks were delicious. However, when the bill came, they charged us a set 20% tip because we split the bill between 2 people. When we questioned this, our server stated, it's on the menu that split checks are an added 20% tip. Also, be mindful that charging your meal is more expensive than the prices stated on the menu. Arrived on time for our 7pm reservation. There was no hostess and we had to look around for someone to seat us. The restaurant was pretty crowded due to it being a race weekend. Once seated it was a good 15 minutes before someone greeted us. Someone (not our server) finally took our drink order which took another 15 minutes to show up. We finally ordered a salad, appetizer and two entrees. Thirty minutes later the entrees showed up, no salad or appetizer. The entrees were cold. What a great find! I overheard the desk clerk recommend this place, so we decided to check it out. We were definitely NOT disappointed. I am a fettuccine Alfredo snob, and this one scored in my top 3 all time favorites. And you MUST try the meatballs .. OMG! Oh, and they give an olive spread with the bread that is worth a try too. I do not like olives, but decided to put my big girl pants on and try it. I wasn't sad that I did. My daughter and son had the chicken parmigiana and weren't too impressed as they said the chicken was dry. I would normally knock a star off for this, but the service made up for it. Sat at bar to eat. It's odd that they don't have a bartender per se, but didn't negatively impact my meal. In fact, the woman who did pour my wine was very friendly. Speaking of the wine, though, what a sad selection. Almost all their wines were Italian, which obviously in and of itself should be a plus. But each of the ones I had a glass of was of poor quality. one was like drinking balsamic. they were so mid at best that I decided to research them online and see what reviewers and enthusiasts thought as well as what their price is at the store. most of them sell for $12.99. At that price point, you know you're not getting anything good. even if they just got a little closer to the $20 mark that translates to significantly better wine. Crappy wine, distracts from the meal, rather than enhances it. the glasses were between nine and $11 apiece so it's a little more than the gross 400% markup you often see. Just get a higher quality wine pump, the price of a glass up by a buck or so. as it stands now, these wines rated between a 3.5 and 3.9 don't help make food better. Rather, it almost speaks to general averageness being the goal. One plus was the homemade mozzarella. The lasagna though was pretty average. Price was decent--especially for Daytona where everything is overpriced--but it wasn't anything special. Generous portion, but rather bland. Unfortunately, that was more the theme than anything. read more
