Fabulous food. My wife are locals. Frankly my expectations weren't high- nothing to do with the restaurant but you just get use to okay Italian food. We were delighted with the food. My wife had the chefs special- mushroom Ravioli and I had the Bolognese pasta. Both were absolutely delicious. Prepared nice. Coupled with a nice wine selection. Service was great. We will be back. Oh my God Logan and Lara were so accommodating and helpful. This drink is so delicious I can actually taste the cherry. A bowl of soup is so big ! I'm going for veal Parm, friend going for lasagna. You won't find their menu on the Yelp or their Web. Lovely specials offered. Plenty of parking! Ambiance is clean and easy going. Nice music. Holy St Joseph! It's fine for ormond beach probably the best pizza place in that area. I sat at the bar to get takeout, bartender was friendly. Inside is nice similar to the restaurant it was before. We got a pizza and salad to go. Sauce on the pizza was good, the pizza crust I think personally could use some seasoning. But it was their opening month menu so I'll have to go back. I thought it was pretty expensive but I also live in Philadelphia where we have the best pizza so it's really unfair to compare. I think I had 2 drinks (cocktails). This is a hidden gem. From the homemade pasta and semolina bread to the generous portion of perfectly cooked chicken parm. My husband had the veal parm which he thoroughly enjoyed. They use good quality ingredients which is rare to find at a restaurant. I have to avoid all soy and I was able to enjoy the food without issue. Service was painfully slow. The kitchen was even slower. I ordered RISOTTO dish but was served a long grain rice. When I questioned it, I was told "risotto is rice". No, it's supposed to be creamy, not grainy. We were sat at 6pm. We did not get out until 9pm. They willfully charged me double for a bottle of wine. I had to bring it to their attention. There were a total of 3 tables with customers in the entire restaurant so being busy was not an excuse. So disappointed! read more

Holy cow, what an amazing place! We plan to return often!! Our waiter, Timmy, was very accommodating and attentive. The owner, Mario, even stopped by our table to make sure that we were happy. The service was stretched to cover the amount of tables they had. The barmaid handled the bar full of eaters and a restaurant full of drinkers, with a graceful ease. Food was fine not fabulous! Cook might want to practice pasta cooking. They have both under and overcooked down. If you are an Italian Restaurant (charging those prices), Pasta cooked correctly is as fundamental as great sauces! They recently moved to this location They are a work in progress. We went as 5. I had a Espresso Martini at the bar while waiting for other guests to arrive. It was perfect, made with a little bit of cream. Silky smooth. We got seated and Patrick was our waiter. Great job Patrick!!! My wife had the Lobster Ravioli, which was a lot of food. The Rav's were huge and fill with Lobster. We wound up taking some home. I and another in our party ordered the Bolognese with Pappardelle. It was wonderful, good portions, pasta al dente! The last person in our party had a Shrimp and Scallop special the was very good also. The bar tender's are very attentive and wait staff polite and professional! We'll be back! read more

I'll give a cautious (and generous) 3 stars. Despite not great experiences at their former location, I want to like this place and hope they make it, as it's nearby and they've made a huge investment. On our visit, the calamari appetizer wasn't great (lukewarm, fishy). The Fettuccini alfredo was excellent. The Pappardelle bolognaise was actually fettuccini. The wait staff were excellent, although had trouble explaining the surprise pasta switch (they were "out" of it and forgot to tell me, but somehow found some quickly and replaced it). It seems like pizzeria food at moderate+ restaurant prices and when a meal for 2 with wine runs upwards of $150, all of it needs to be good (and what was ordered). I sure hope it's not the kind of place that thinks it's customers can't tell the difference between pappardelle and fettuccini. I'm hopeful and will try again. read more

Glad to be the first to rate Little Italy's new location after moving from Beach Street in Daytona Beach to S Atlantic in Ormond Beach. They gained three times the space and while it was a "soft opening" when we visited (3/14/26) Mario and team did a good job with a big rush of people. The bar area is spacious and swanky. The people, drinks and food are amazing as always! It is worth the drive to Ormond Beach and still the best Italian in the area! Shout out to our server Nicole -- she is fantastic! read more

Have you ever had one of those moments where you feel like What Would You Do? is about to start and John Quiñones is going to walk out? That's exactly how our experience felt. On Saturday night, my wife, daughter, and I had 6:30 PM reservations at Little Italy's Ristorante. We arrived on time but were greeted by a less-than-friendly hostess who told us we couldn't be seated for another 20 minutes because "the kitchen was backed up." The issue? The restaurant was only about half full, with plenty of open tables. After waiting over 30 minutes and repeatedly asking to be seated, we were finally brought to our table. From there, things only went downhill. Our waitress was kind but clearly overwhelmed. The calamari appetizer was terrible--greasy, small portion, and the breading was falling apart. At $22, it was completely unacceptable. I had to ask for bread three times before someone else finally brought it. Meanwhile, the staff appeared disorganized, standing around and looking unsure of what to do. When my daughter's appetizer arrived, it was essentially a bowl of tomato soup--definitely not what we expected. I ordered two appetizers as my meal, and one was completely inedible. The rice ball was so overcooked and dense it resembled a potato croquette. Just awful. The meatballs were decent, but the cheese tasted anything but fresh. My wife's chicken parm looked like it had been frozen and reheated. They also got her pasta order wrong, bringing spaghetti instead of penne. A staff member, who oddly insisted on asking her name, said they would replace it "at no cost," but by that point, the damage was done. To make matters worse, the staff repeatedly tried to clear our glasses and menus before we were finished, making the whole experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. There was no sign of an owner or manager checking in, just a strange, overbearing staff presence that felt more intrusive than helpful. The total bill came to $150, which is hard to justify given the quality of both the food and service. My daughter felt sick shortly after we got home, and my wife and I couldn't stop talking about how disappointing the entire experience was. At no time was the restaurant even near capacity, and the service was so inconsistent from table to table that I felt insulted. I know another couple as equally, if not more frustrated as well. I'm honestly shocked by the positive reviews this place has received, because our experience was anything but positive. Needless to say, we will not be returning. read more

Worst Italian place to eat ever. I rarely write reviews, but seriously this was bad. First off after waiting for server to even come to the table my kid actually had to go up to hostess to ask a server to come and do something. If it was busy I would understand, but this Saturday night there was only 6 tables being served with enough staff. (I wonder why it was so empty). After waiting to get served, then it took for ever for food to get served. Finally food was ok except for the pasta dish one of the other guest at my table had was so full of salt that when I took a sample I felt my sodium level multiply by 3. Sent it back for another pasta dish, same results. When asked we wanted to take it home, all of us at the table said at same time "No". Lastly they charge $4 just because we used a credit card. Place needs a makeover in the food preparation and service. read more

I don't even know where to start. Our party of 8 arrived for our 7pm reservations. The restaurant was about 40% filled and there were plenty of servers. It took over 15 minutes for our server Tod to get to our table and greet us. He said he would be back with some fresh bread. Another 15 minutes later he came back to the table to see if we were ready to order drinks and/or appetizers. We placed our order for appetizers and ordered drinks. another 10 minute later he came back to the table to check on things. We reminded him we were still waiting on the bread. This would be the theme of the night. We even joked that every time we asked him for something we knew we wouldn't see him for another 20 minutes. The drinks finally came 1 at a time. The appetizers which were calamari was ok, nothing great, and all the breading would just crumble off as soon as you touched it. The main courses finally came out 2 at a time. Nobody was happy with their meal. I got Carbonara. The pasta was swimming in liquid sauce. The Shrimp Scampi was a mountain of pasta also in a bowl of soup like sauce. There was about $5.00 worth of shrimp sitting on $1.50 worth of pasta, hardly justifies the price they charge for this dish. The other meals were fruit di mare, chicken w lemon sauce and eggplant rolletini. The only mean that came out good was the eggplant. everybody else hated their meal and let most of it still on the plate. We were told at the end of the night that the chef was all alone in the kitchen and it was not his best night. That sounds like a Him problem, not mine. Support our local businesses. This is easy to do at Little Italy. Delicious food, good service, the best meat balls, plenty of seating compared to old Beech St location. Where to start. Was excited to try new location in Ormond Beach, especially since I was looking at a 4.8 out of 5 rating! Wife ordered a simple cosmopolitan martini and I ordered dirty grey goose. Mine was fine.... Wife's was terrible. Told our waiter and he went to another bartender. It was terrible as well. Tough to mess up a Cosmo martini but they did it twice! Ordered Caesar salad to split. Came with plate of Romain lettuce and slivers of Parmesan cheese which was fine but Caesar dressing was dumped on top, not tossed with lettuce, and croutons were hard as a brick. Next was entree.....wife ordered pollo lemon which was supposed to be their version of chicken picatta. Pasta and sauce was good. Chicken was a naked slice of white meat chicken that was really three pieces connected by a thin piece of connective tissue. Never have I seen chicken served like that in a restaurant. I wouldn't serve it at home that way! My dish was ok but nothing to write home about. To be fair, they took pollo limon or whatever that was, off the check. Not a good experience and we won't be returning. Justin, our waiter, did a great job but was clearly embarrassed by the whole experience. He received a 20% tip even though it was a bad meal.
