We didn't want to have the kitchen open back up for us if they were already wrapping up. They assured us the kitchen wouldn't be closed for another 15 minutes so to come on in. We ordered the pizza, and the pizza guy had a meltdown. Apparently he had already started cleaning up for the night. We felt bad but also a little off putting that he would make such a scene in front of all the guests. Other than that we had a wonderful meal.

And we were not disappointed! The food was simple and delicious - we started with a Caprese salad, very nice, followed by bread that was super fresh and a heartier flavor than we had at other restaurants. For entrees we decided on seafood after so many pasta and pizza meals - we tried their grilled tuna and grilled swordfish, and both were outstanding. The tuna had a nice salt/subtle seasoning and was prepared perfectly, seared on the outside and rare on the inside. My wife's swordfish was also nicely prepared, and the portion was huge - twice the amount she expected (see photos)! And the generous portion of veggies were tasty. For dessert my wife had tiramisu and said it was among the best she had on our entire trip (and she had many!). I had a wonderful pistachio dessert with almonds on the outside that was great (forgot the name), but highly recommend it. Service was professional and prompt (no hovering, a pet peeve). As we ate, the restaurant filled with locals who all seemed to know the staff personally, creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere with a nice family feel.
