Located in the Grocery Outlet plaza. Very small dining area. Really good food. Great service. Fast plating. In and out in under and hour. I would recommend.

Everytime I come to the Bay Area Rosys cafe is a must! Fresh amazing breakfast. Mexican, American both are great choices. Amazing service, consistent on their serving. Great vibes, not too loud. If you're passing by you should definitely check it out.

Ordered the large hobo, chicken fried steak, and churro flavored French toast. The large hobo consisted of linguica, potatoes, cheese, bell peppers, and onions, and it tasted great as one would expect from all those ingredients. The chicken fried steak was still crispy despite the gravy which was amazing. The steak itself was cooked just right, not too tough. The churro flavored French toast was a great dessert, was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and as a fan of churros the taste was great!

My new favorite breakfast/brunch place in the area! The pancakes here are super fluffy and buttery. Portion is generous and food comes out fast. I also tried the steak and the pork chop, both are delicious. You can't go wrong with the Mexican hot chocolate either.

Sunday afternoon busy but service is always quick friendly and the people come and go very smoothly. Never disappoints. Food is perfect every time. Never leave here hungry that's for sure. Diner vibe and my kids especially like all the toys and trinkets for sale.

I was in the neighborhood and it was brunch time on a Sunday. I have been here a couple of times, they serve a nice breakfast, American and Mexican choices. Walking in, it was packed but a few tables in the back which I have never been. The wait people were busy but friendly. They took my order quickly and the food was delivered relatively quickly too, not rushed. Someone stopped occasionally to check in. On this occasion, I ordered the huevos rancheros. It was a nice portion with rice and beans, whatever. the egg was cooked just so for me to break and have it run on tortilla and rest of my egg. Together with the rice and beans, a good balance. Pay at the front counter by informing the cashier the table number. There was a back up at the counter as take out pick up and paying diners ahead of me trying to get out. Otherwise, an eventual and pleasant meal.

After years of living in Hayward, I'm surprised this was my first time making it to Rosy's Cafe! If you're looking for a no-frills, hearty breakfast, this is your spot. My husband and I stopped by on a weekend late morning because we wanted a filling breakfast and we definitely got it here. There was a lot of hustle and bustle when we arrived, and even though the restaurant was practically full, we were seated immediately. Service is so quick here so it makes sense that even folks who dined in were in and out. We ordered the country fried steak & eggs along with the chorizo & eggs and a strawberry agua fresca. Both dishes were really good and the portions were huge. If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with the chorizo & eggs again because it was really flavorful. The agua fresca was refreshing, but wish it had more strawberry flavor. It tasted a little watered down. Prices were pretty reasonable all around. Fun little add on: they also sell some toys by the front. You can get action figures and even lafufus. Open for dinner starting 7/31!

Can not remember why I had went to Hayward. My bf and I ended up looking for a spot they made egg rolls because we needed it for an event and saw this cafe and we decided to go and try it it's a family owned business, the two waiters young ladies were amazing and sweet. We ordered huevos rancheros and a Denver omelet it was so yummy and very fulfilling.the place gets super packed.Would recommend for sure.

First time here, walked in and we were seated immediately. We came on a Sunday and there was lots of customers inside. Restaurant was very busy. There is a lot of seating available, customer service is friendly and fast. The volume inside the restaurant is LOUD as employees holler at each other from across the restaurant and its like an organized chaos going on type of vibe/ambiance (due to the employees and how they communicate) Food is good, very flavorful and authentic I enjoyed my meal and so did my son Prices are reasonable Parking is easy to come by and parking lot is safe No alcohol served (no mimosas )

Horrible service, which affects the food delivery. I've directed my office team to avoid this place at all cost.

    Does Rosy's sell chorros?

No. The closest churros item is the churros-style French toast.

What are the hours on Sat and Sun?

They for sure open at 7am but I believe they close no later than 3pm but no earlier than 2pm.

Did prices go up? I love Rosy's but seems like every time I go the price goes up. I understand everything is going up in price but I go every few weeks and each time the price is higher. Can the Yelp menu prices be updated?? 🥰

Every restaurant we go to Saint like the prices of everything is going up.price of product cost of doing business. The last time I was at Rosies the prices were in line with everybody else.

What are the hours of operation?

We are closed at the moment due to small fire accident We will be back in a month around…

Why isn't Rosy answering the phone? Are they open?

Steven V. They answered for me when I dialed (510) 363-8693. Not sure what time you dialed and what number it was that you dialed.

Place is spacious, lively, dimly lit with music playing at a level you can have a conversation. Table ordered a steak sandwich with salad, cheese sandwich with tomato soup and a five-spice pork ragu over polenta. We all enjoyed our dishes. Food is 3.5-4/5 stars and would like to see a bit more to keep it interesting but know their kitchen setup is limited. No wine with this visit. Dessert: Orange brownie was simple with orange zest and the Hawaiian bread pudding was different and flavorful. Good to see the place bustling and look forward to future rotating pop up events. Got a chance to talk to the owner, Stacey as I recognized her from the Eats by E event the week prior. My bad, didn't know she was the owner of Cordial Cellar & Lounge but all good as she was super welcoming, friendly and was very accommodating when asked if we could pay for our own dishes separately. At the end of the evening perused the Olive & Finn Boutique and quickly welcomed by Jackie who was explaining items like the handmade jewelry and some hand stitched clothing. Such cute items and will visit another time. Recommend Cordial Cellar & Lounge for a date night, special group outing or relax and listen to some music. The wait to order wasn't too long, maybe 15 minutes? While you wait, you pass by a display of cookies and they even have samples out for everyone to try. They are a great snack while you wait for your meal. 9/10 - The ube pancakes: These were pretty solid. I didn't think that the pancakes themselves had a very strong ube flavor, if any. I think all of the flavor was in the ube coconut sauce that they come with. However, there is only sauce on the first layer so you might want to get extra! It is an additional $2.75 or so to get the extra side of ube sauce, though. The pancakes themselves could have been a little more moist and fluffy, as they were a bit dry and dense. I loved the fruit and sauce, so that definitely made up for it! I'm glad that I got to try, but I don't think I'd get them again. Instead, I would get a regular pancake and a side of the ube coconut cream! 8/10 - The chorizo burrito: My bf said that this was also a pretty good option. He thought that it could have been a bit more flavorful, but was still satisfied with his meal! 7.5/10 - The side of hash browns: These were good, as to be expected! The portion was a bit small in comparison to other diners in the area. 7.5/10 Overall, I always enjoy my experiences at denica's! The vibes are always there, and they are such a convenient place to grab breakfast or brunch.

We did get seated right away at a high top table, which we didn't mind too much but it was in an area a bit more secluded. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert and the bill did come out to be on par with a nicer restaurant. However, we didn't appreciate that the tip suggestions were based on the after tax total rather than the subtotal. * Focaccia - 3/5 as it was a bit dry and was plain even though the menu listed rosemary & herb. * Paradiso's Chicken Picatta with Linguini - 3.5/5 Pasta was a tad overcooked and kept breaking which made it hard to eat. Chicken was big and mostly juicy except for one thinner end that got a little dry. I did really like the lemony sauce. * Braised Short Ribs with Mash Potatoes - 4/5 Good portion short ribs, the sauce was great and meat was very tender. Only con was that some of the carrots were on the raw side. * Bananas Foster Bread Pudding with Vanilla Gelato 4/5 Good dessert, but pecans didn't taste candied and would have liked the bread pudding to be warmer than it was. We'd give it a 3.5 overall and would give it another try sometime. However for the price, we thought it fell a bit short of expectations.
