Rosy's is the best! Wonderful mother & daughter run family restaurant. We visited today because of the high a Yelp rating and they earned our 5 stars. We mainly had cheeseburgers and grilled chicken and fries and salads, but the other breakfast and lunch selections looked good too. The food is fantastic and the service outstanding. The prices are affordable. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. We even bought a shirt as a memory, and will stop again the next time we pass through. read more

I was really looking forward to our first visit to Rosy's but unfortunately was sadly disappointed. The food took a really long time to reach our table considering we only ordered two omelettes. The diner was not extremely busy so we were surprised for the long prep time. When the omelettes arrived to the table they were overcooked and one omelette was wrong, it had mushrooms which should have been green peppers. A major concern was food handling practices. Rosy was handling raw food with bare hands and then picked up dishes previously used by other customers, just bad practice, unless you're looking for a trip to the ER. Maybe this was just a bad experience but I believe these to be standard practices. Sorry, Rosy, I was expecting so much more for a 5 star status. read more

Best Hash on the planet! The cheese curds are nothing to sneer at either. We walked in and we're immediately at a friend's house! Service was wonderful and our 4 kids got a lot of personal attention, which isn't expected at most places. My husband said the hash was the best he's ever had. We went there because of the positive reviews. I wondered if they were accurate when I walked in because the place isn't fancy. My wife and I shared an omelette and pancakes. I considered making it a four egg omelette; glad I didn't. The omelette was packed with ingredients (their ham is delicious). I ordered two pancakes, but the waitress came back and asked, "are you sure you want two, they're pretty big?" I changed the order to one and it was plenty big enough to share. Watching Rosy (the owner) interact with the diners was the best entertainment I've had for a while; no respect! You can tell everyone loves her. We will definitely return. read more

Garbage omelette -Umm I ordered the three egg version and Rosy immediately set me straight, told me I couldn't eat all that. It covers the plate. Glad she talked me down off the hungry limb because I still carried half of my meal back to the hotel in styrofoam. Great little dive with good food. I do not see the appeal of a dark diner. Rosy was in a bad mood and fussing with a customer. Later I learned she was not feeling well and had a rash. Stopped here for breakfast on a motorcycle trip around Lake Michigan with two friends. I ordered the corned beef hash, which is homemade, not out of a can like 98% of the other diners serve. Food and atmosphere was to die for! However Rosy is kinda a bitch. Rosy touched my toast when I asked for more butter then went on to talk trash about the state I was from and how they don't put enough butter on her toast and then after that she started yelling at other customers yelling at her daughter who was it right waitress in the whole time I was scared to death to even threatened to throw an egg at us. The elderly couple behind us was getting bro rated when they asked for more jelly see you asked them if they wanted to buy the whole restaurant because she does not give out shit for free. Rosy also hates the government and only takes cash as if she does not pay full taxes. I would love to see a government audit of this diner. read more
