Just wow, I have never been so impressed by a gas station. After a long drive we stopped here to refresh and we were warmly greeted by Lynn who the kindest soul we have ever met. She truly went above and beyond for us. To top that the bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen. We will now always be going out of our way to Rotten Robbie. my experience here was absolutely amazing! I had to go to the bathroom because I had been driving from Monterey so I looked up gas stations and I saw they had a 5 star review from LAST YEAR (01/27/23) and the review had stated the whole gas station was clean and had extremely clean bathrooms and when I arrived not only was the inside clean but the outside of the gas station looked swept and even mopped, there was no gas/oil stains on the cement just pure clean concrete and everything looked brand new also the fact that the cashier her name was Lynn and out of all the gas stations I've ever been to in my life she's the most friendliest person I've ever met, she was so calm, respectful and she should get a raise for how friendly she is to customers she definitely is the best gas station worker I've met!! I'm definitely coming back here again for when I need to stop for a break (also they have bomb ass snacks for cheap prices such as $1.25 for a muffin) read more

I have been a customer for many years. Stopped by today to put air in my tires. I asked the attendant if she could turn the compressor on and she asked if I had bought gas. I said not today but that I often do. She said the cost would be $2.00. When I pointed out that the sign said it was free, her response was it was free for customers. What a shame. They lost this customer who has spent so much with them over the years. I hope the owner reads this. It was clear the attendant could care less about retaining customers. read more

the attendents at this particular gas station are rude and uncouth. i was treated nastily when pay for my gas with cash. the floor was slippery wet. I almost fell. they are disrespectful of all men and all women today. this morning my husband also stopped by to fill his work vehicle. when he paid in cash to fill the tank the attendant cussed him out without my husband provoking him deliberately. neither of us are going back to buy gas there anymore. its time to return to chevron even if it is a little more expensive. they appreciate cash payments. chevron also has oil that is suitable for any of our cars. various weights are kept in stock. we are returning and i politely request not any of our friends and neighbors return either! go to chevron or shell. read more

I've been coming here for years and years, and years. This was my go-to station in Danville/Alamo when I lived there and I still try to go there when I'm visiting. They always have great prices (for California) and I never see a line. But, there are always cars around. I'm glad to see them still doing well after all these years. read more

5 stars for their customer service!!! I bought my lottery tickets at the 7/11 next door, but when I won a $250 ticket 7/11 wouldn't pay up! They told me that they don't have that and to go next door to Rotten Robbie's. The guy at 7/11 was a rude man and tried at first to say it was the way I scratched the ticket off, really?!?! Then he said they don't pay that, but California Lottery laws state otherwise. When I told the sweet lady at Rotten Robbie what happened, she was fully aware of what 7/11 had done, as they do this to A LOT of their customers! She scanned my lottery ticket with zero issues and paid me my prize with no problem. They took care of me there, unlike the 7/11 next door. From now on, I'm buying ALL OF MY LOTTERY TICKETS at Rotten Robbie! Thank you for showing me that great customer service still exists! read more

I feel like the prices here are consistently low, there are enough pumps that I've never waited long. it can be a little tricky getting in and out of the parking lot and onto the road safely. All time great local gas station here in Alamo. Super friendly staff, and they have much more to offer than one would guess. Try $5 UV sunglasses, huge bags of cooking charcoal and mesquite too, bundles of firewood, propane gas tank-exchange, free air and water, a restroom for customers, and always a very fair price for all fuels including diesel. Huge drink selection, candy, lottery, stuff... great local place open early and late enough. 5-star all the way... :) read more

I love coming to this gas station. I won't go anywhere else unless it is not an option. My aunt has been a regular for years. And when I say years, she introduced me to Rotton Robbie 20 years ago! The most friendly people work here. If I'm having a terrible day, they somehow make me leave with a smile every time! Cherie will make sure to solve any type of problem you may have! my wife and i came to buy gas at rotten robbies for years. the women who work at alamo location need to have their mouths washed out with kitchen soap. their mouth show they are viscous and vindictive toward me and all customers. When I walked in to hand them cash for the pump i walked out to the pump and attempted to pump the gas not enough gas came out. i handed them 5 $20 dollar bills and was credit for only $10. The cashier stated I had only given her $10 and she didn't have any $20's in the drawer according to her. I had been to the bank and withdrawn only $100 because it was my gas money for the week. She became hostile and made threats at me. i was greatly embarrassed by her. the owner needs to replace her with an honest employee. she is dishonest. i told on my friends about the theft and asked them to shop for gas at chevron, shell down the road in alamo and down the road in danville. my teenage daughter and her boyfriend have been told to go else where for the gas they use in their cars. read more

I had one of those bad days; lost my wallet, running low on gas to drive home to look for the wallet, only managed to find $2 and some change in the car to buy some gas to get home. Cherie at the gas station offered to cover $5 of gas for me! With all the terrible things going on in the world, I am so grateful someone like Cherie with such kindness still exists! Twice in the past month, my credit card number has been fraudulently used. Both times, it happened the day after I used it to pay at the pump at the Rotten Robbie in Alamo CA. This most recent time, the Rotten Robbie was the ONLY place the card was used the day before the fraud, so I know it was scammed at Rotten Robbie. (The card never left my possession.) It appears that this Rotten Robbie's pumps have had credit card skimmers applied to them...so use at your own risk! I attempted to contact Rotten Robbie management about this, and after taking the time to detail the information to submit on their webpage, I clicked to submit and got an error saying the page no longer existed. Nice. Having to replace my credit card twice in a month has been a major inconvenience--I'm not taking my chances, and will never visit this Rotten Robbie again! read more

Came here today to get gas, went inside to pay with cash and as I was walking back out to my car the employee that helped me ran after me and said "should I take the price of the lighter out of that money?" I was confused because I didn't take a lighter and showed him all I was holding was my keys.. He continues to accuse me of stealing a lighter, being very aggressive and rude, yelling and swearing at me. As a teenage girl this made me very upset and shaken. I go back in the store with him and he watches the cameras and sees that I obviously didn't take anything (why would I steal a $2 lighter, I don't even smoke) and all he says is "oh it looked like you took a lighter"..
