Cuban Sandwich with a gluten-free roll
    Erika C.

I'm gluten free and Rotunda has always been good to me. The picture of a Cuban Sandwich doesn't do the sandwich justice. It was amazing, and the gluten-free roll tasted so good that I got nervous and asked the waiter if I really did get the gluten-free bun on my sandwich. Will be going back again.

Had a wonderful lunch at Rotunda. The Lobster Grilled Cheese hit the spot. The fries were delicious also. Oh, and don't for get to try their beers, love the sWheat Tart series.

It is not, on the patio. However we do have an outdoor area with 4 tables that is dog friendly.

Batdorf has many Rotunda beers at their bar, but there are typically 3 beers at the Rotunda taproom that you cannot get at the bar.

We chose to visit the National Cemetery next door to pay respects to my father whose ashes are interred there. For brunch we chose Snitz Creek and were both surprised that it was a brewery open for breakfast on a Sunday. The Annville location was busy but not chaotic. The interior was clean and stocked full of merch as well as ample supplies of their crafted beverages. We were seated and served immediately by friendly staff. Young Krugaar and I sat together and I shared stories of his grandfather's adventures in the Blavatskian Art of Spiritualism, particularly his efforts to conjure the spirit of Georges Fauntli (the 18th century wizard responsible for preventing the Great Cataclysm of 1749 and rescuing Pope Clement XIII from Malebolgian insurrectionists.) Father was successful in extricating the sacred word from Fauntli confirming their connection across the void. Krugaar was also shocked to learn of father's role in recovering the sacred Ark from the German Army in Somalia in 1943 and its restoration to its secret location. Krugaar shared his success in taming the energies of the recent solar surge to enchant his mighty battle axe which he has dubbed 'Gorm Gudbruund'. Its power is only felt by supernatural creatures so he has yet to test his new weapon in combat against the dark forces. The Snitz Creek Special omelet was my order, in honor of father who would celebrate Father's Day with a plate of chipped beef on toast and scrambled eggs. My mother would pile the plate high to his delight. By comparison, this fat, delicious omelet represented something father would have adored - packed with potatoes, cheese, and crispy chipped beef and so flavorful. The Texas toast came covered in melted butter with just the perfect browning. I look forward to trying their special recipe for Creamed Chipped Beef next time. The turnaround in the kitchen was impressive based on the quality and quantity produced. Krugaar indulged in the meat lover omelet which he said was not greasy for something with so much ham, sausage, and bacon. He enjoyed it. He did not smash his coffee mug to the floor in praise, however, showing he has acclimated to this normative culture. The beer choices were intriguing and I was delighted to see the affordable growler options for their tapped selection. I took something home based entirely on the name - "The Smelly Smell That Smells Smelly" which boldly boasted anchovies as part of its ingredients. I gifted this to our lab technician, Ivor.

On a recent trip home, I finally made an effort to get here and had the best time. This is the new iteration of Lebanon's original brewery from the 1800s. The building is the same, and history is forefront with a great timeline on the entry wall. Even if you aren't into beer, it's worth a visit just to step back in time. I love all the brick buildings and side buildings; clearly this was a busy place. The new brewery is slowly using the space for different things, and I look forward to seeing how it grows and changes in the future. They have outdoor seating, lots of parking, and overflow parking, which are great for large groups especially during the warm months. I went with my dad and best friend; I had arranged to meet with brewer and co-owner Mike and was immediately greeted warmly by the bar staff. It was a sunny afternoon so we sat at the bar by a window and tried every beer! It was so much fun to go through the styles, some of which are taken from original recipes. They have a full food menu too, but we didn't try anything that day. They also have lots of dining tables in the main room. The brewing equipment is gleaming copper along the one wall, but it's misleading because it all goes down to the giant basement and production area. Mike kindly gave us a personal tour after our beer and showed us all the equipment, historical points with fun stories, plus the bottling room and their fun bottle caps. Beer quality is great, they have many cores and some limiteds on a rolling basis. Prices are reasonable as well. Beer is available chilled at the door to-go as well. If you're a beer fan, or interested in Lebanon Valley history, this is a must visit brewery!

They are HUGE DOG PEOPLE! you can bring your pup to enjoy a beer with you on the patio. The staff is amazing and I can't wait to go back!

They have about 20 different beers, we did a flight of 4 of them, all were good, I recommend the La Flama Blanca, yum! The server was on top of it, she was great. The service did seem a bit slow, but then when the food came it was obviously freshly cooked, so if you're giving me hot fresh food I will not complain if it takes a few minutes. No cold/soggy food here!! And ask about the dessert. If it's the brownie with ice cream, do it. The brownie was deliciously decadent! Located on the third floor above the farmers market. Cool looking building and architecture. Old old building...just really neat. Check it out! Oh, P.S. the only thing a little cheesy thing...plastic utensils and paper salt and pepper packets. Real glasses, metal trays for the sandwiches, so the plastic seemed out of place.

There are two thin burger patties with the listed toppings and the kettle chips we received are not Good's brand- they're generic kettle cooked chips from Sysco in individual bags. My friends' CBR Personal flatbread was good, but the Veggies Lovers flatbread wasn't good. The veggies were barely cooked. The beer is just OK, limited beer menu. I'll look elsewhere before coming back.

I ordered a crispy chicken Ceasar sandwich and was less than pleased. The Caesar portion had a strange smell and taste that didn't compliment the sandwich and the crispy chicken cutlet was very tough and involved alot of tugging to rip and chew. I honestly dont have the best culinary experiences with englewood when I have gone in the past and don't visit often. Ive previously eaten other chicken sandwiches and pizzas. The chicken sandwiches miss the mark in taste and mouth feel and the pizza is usually too greasy. The saving grace of the night was our waitress! She was brilliant, funny, and attentive to our 7 person party. Really appreciate it! The bill was well over $300 dollars and I dont think it was worth it for the quality of food received.
