However, the service was below average but not anything to complain about . However, I walked in today to eat lunch and now I remember why I placed Isaac's on a 20 year ban! Piss poor service . No acknowledgment, lack of care , employees just standing around . This might be an ownership issue but it needs fixed . See you in another 20 years !!!!

There were a few soups available but none really enticed me. Mom went for the soup and half sandwich meal. She chose the pepperjack tomato soup and a half Reuben. She really didn't care for the soup and the Reuben she deemed just "okay". I opted for the ruffle salad and added chicken salad. The salad was large and had a wide variety of typical salad accouterments while the chicken salad was full of cranberries and crunch. Really, it was nothing special, but with the thick housemade ranch dressing, it still was good. It was also large - I brought half of it home. Isaac's was a good change of pace for us. Next time I think I'll try one of their sandwiches. I'm pretty sure mom will skip the soup.

The setting is absolutely beautiful. Their outdoor terrace overlooks a scenic garden area that looks like it might even host weddings--it's that picturesque. The ambiance is peaceful, charming, and ideal for a relaxing weekend meal, whether you've just finished a bike ride or are simply looking for a quiet dining spot in Marietta. The menu had a lot of fresh, well-crafted options, and the cocktail list was fun and inventive. I tried the lavender lemon drop, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the lavender complemented the classic citrusy flavor--an elegant twist on a traditional drink. For dinner, I went with the jalapeño cheddar burger, which was flavorful, juicy, and made with noticeably fresh ingredients. The fries were crisp and satisfying, while my mom and sister-in-law each opted for different sandwiches paired with house salads. They raved about the house-made vinaigrette, which had a fresh, tangy balance. We also started with the whipped feta dip and gouda mac and cheese--both were delicious. The feta was creamy and flavorful, and the mac had a rich, smoky bite to it. Our Entrees looked so delicious that I forgot to snap a photo beforehand. Service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about both the food and drink menus, and her suggestions were spot on. In terms of value, I was really impressed. With so many places these days serving tiny portions at high prices, Railroad House Inn stands out as a restaurant that delivers quality, fresh ingredients, and generous portions at a fair price. All in all, this was a five-star experience. Great food, beautiful location, warm service--I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially after enjoying the nearby Northwest Lancaster County River Trail.

I enjoyed their "lampin" German Pilsner - clean, crisp, went down entirely too easily with some fries that they sprinkle with some sort of seasoning that make them incredibly easy to gobble up Space is open with plenty of tables and a rather large bar in the center - perfect for either large groups (I have been here with 12+) or 2.

They specialize in brewing small, batch seasonal brews and a farm-to-table dining. The Good: *Friendly service *As mentioned above, the beers are seasonal so they're always changing. *Poor Life Choices Hazy IPA was very interesting. Probably the sweetest Hazy I've ever drank and, while I wouldn't kick it out of bed, it's not what I'd prefer. *Cheesy Beer Fries upgrade is a must! The cheese was perfection, with a nice flavor of beer without it being overwhelming. *Large space which is great for large parties. We had six people and it was no issue. The Meh: *Free street parking but it can be difficult to find at times, believe it or not. There are a few free lots close-by, tho. *Interior can get a bit raucous *The Rachel (basically a Reuben w/ turkey instead of pastrami) was very underwhelming, a touch greasy, and the ratio of turkey to bread was way off. The Ugly: *The Chicken on the Chicken Nachos was hammered hard--as if Chicken breasts aren't dry enough. Conclusion: Overall, it's probably 3.5*, but I'll round-up because I'd still most likely be back to give them another go next time we're in the area.
