And even when she started to paint the first nail and I didn't like it, she was totally fine even though she literally had already showed it to me, but I swear it looked a little different. And I just truly appreciated that she didn't mind to make sure that I got the look that I was going for. I also was a few weeks out from surgery and had to be very careful about infection, so I deeply appreciated her extra care and that she warned me I can't do cuticle removal the way I typically would do for your safety. She also had me dry my nails, a different way than they usually do just for extra precaution. I love how my manicure turned out!!! The ladies working in that shop seemed very professional, and it was a comfortable place to be. I brought my son in for a pedicure and they treated him so well and made him feel comfortable. He was nervous to go in, but he said he had a great experience. I'm definitely gonna come back for a pedicure when the doctor clears me.

Unfortunately, the service has gotten progressively worse, and after today, I will not be returning. I called yesterday specifically to book a nail appointment before my flight tomorrow. Alex was unavailable, so I asked if someone else could shape my nails similarly and was told a nail tech by the name of Gigi could. I arrived at 11:10 AM and when I arrived I was asked if I wanted a pedicure. I agreed to add a pedicure. What should have been a routine service took nearly three hours. I asked for acrylic only on the few toenails that were broken/chipped, there were 4 to be exact, as I normally do. Instead, acrylic was applied to all 10 toes without anyone explaining that this was considered a full acrylic service or that I would be charged an additional $75. I also showed a photo of the exact curved French tip I wanted. When the result did not match the photo and I politely asked for it to be corrected, I was told that I "want everything perfect" and that they "can't make my nails perfect." The front desk staff member went on to laugh when he was called over and having side conversations while I was expressing my concerns, which felt extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. After three hours, I was then told they could not do my fingernails and that I would need to come back two hours later or the next day; despite the fact that I specifically booked this appointment because I have a flight tomorrow and needed my fingernails done. I ultimately paid $158.10 for a pedicure, including the additional $75 acrylic charge I did not knowingly request, and left after three hours without my fingernails even being done. I am not expecting "perfection." I expect a professional salon to listen to what I request, communicate additional charges before performing a service, respect scheduled appointments, and treat customers respectfully when they raise a concern. I have continued supporting this salon despite several increasingly disappointing experiences because I liked the way my nails would turn out most of the times, but today was the final straw. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this salon and will not be returning.

I get builder gel nails with gel polish, and her work is consistently beautiful, precise, and long-lasting. But what really sets her apart is who she is as a person and professional. She owns the business and somehow manages to do everything at once -- welcoming clients, answering phones, supporting other techs with their clients -- all while giving you her full, undivided attention. She is the most observant and attentive person I've ever met. You never feel rushed, forgotten, or like just another appointment. Over the years, seeing her that often, Monica became a very dear friend. We know each other's lives deeply -- the big things, the small things, the in-between seasons. Saying goodbye when I moved to Virginia was genuinely one of the hardest goodbyes of the entire move. On top of everything else, her prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the level of care, consistency, and artistry she provides. The woman who helped me took her time and did an excellent job exfoliating and cleaning my feet, gave me a great pedicure and surprised me with an exfoliating leg scrub, hot stones and massage. The massage chair was great as well and the experience was very relaxing. I followed up with a gel manicure which was nice and quick although she did not sacrifice quality and paid very close attention to detail. I was very happy with the services and plan to return. The gel manicure was $35 and the pedicure was $35 which I think is very reasonable!

First and foremost, what I love about them is how unbelievably nice the woman who work here are. I don't think you'll find a nicer group of nail techs, collectively. They make you feel like a guest and not a business transaction. As for the quality of work, I've never had a bad manicure or pedicure here before. I only come in 1- 4 times a year at the most because I don't have tons of money to spend on stuff like this but when I do I have never regretted it. I don't find their selectional color to be overwhelming which is nice but I find it to be plentiful at the same time. They have plenty of chairs and tables for both hands and feet. They get the job done very quickly and never make you feel rushed. You still leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. It's definitely an art form that I have not seen across the board through nail salons in the area (or even out of the area.) When you walk in they welcome you and they seem generally happy to see you. The quality of their work is great. Admittedly, I only go in for mani/pedi; I don't do gel or acrylics or any fancy stuff so I can't speak for their work other than that but I can speak for their mani/pedi and french tips and they're great If you're looking for a down to earth, friendly place to have your nails done in good quality then I would definitely recommend coming here. It's very casual which I love and the people couldn't be nicer and again I have never had a bad experience.
