I've been to numerous nail salons in and around Norwood but it's been a while since my last visit. I looked at reviews and saw many 4 and 5 star postings. The question remained which one do I choose. So...I chose Happy Nails (because who doesn't want to be happy)!! Right? Proud of myself because I was so impressed! Salon is immaculate and instruments were sanitized. Kim, the owner, was very welcoming. I had two colors in mind that I wanted for the my nail design. She suggested a different combination and she was right! But Kathy, who did my nails, was fabulous! She spent 20 minutes on a foot and leg massage that was soooo relaxing. I could have really zoned out were it not for the woman sitting next to me who needed to be on her phone saying OK about 15 times. I digress...Kathy designed a lovely blue and white flower with green vines and sparkles on my big toes. I love it!! I'm going back! Happy Nails is a new nail salon in Norwood. You should check it out. Kim was with another local salon for many years and when she opened Happy Nails in November 2015, all her clients followed her. The place is lovely: brand new, attractive, modern and clean. Kim is very conscientious - always trying to please her clients. She has been know to come in early or stay open late to accommodate someone in need. She even runs special deals- $25 for a gel manicure right now. Coupons too! Kim and Jennifer are the best around. They follow strict Covid-19 protocols and keep the salon impeccably clean!! Both are friendly, welcoming and treats every client with gold star customer service And yes, they do understand English. They are well skilled in their trade but the pedicure massages are amazing! I've been going for years and have never had a problem with peeling or chipped nails however if I did, I know they would be happy to correct it ASAP! I was looking for a place close to my work this morning to run and get my nails done and based on the reviews wanted to try here. The service completely matched the positive reviews! I have not used yelp in years but wanted to make sure I did today to give Happy Nails and Kim the credit they deserve. Kim was able to squeeze me in, even though they were busy and introduced herself and still did a wonderful job doing my nails! She also gave me a lotion as a birthday present which I thought was very thoughtful! This will be my new go to place for sure! read more

I never get my nails done but I was getting married, so I asked for a French manicure/pedicure. It was perfect, and they painted a stripe of sparkly silver in-between the white and pink, which added a little something. I got a thorough foot massage, I should add, which I don't think is typical. A few girls that were obviously regulars filtered in and out with big smiles every time. They obviously have a very loyal customer base which is good to see for a small business. I have been a customer of Happy Nails since Kim opened her new location. What a lovely, clean salon. There are an amazing selection of polishes and everyone is so friendly. I don't usually post reviews but witnessed the owner being threatened with a bad review by a really unpleasant, unreasonable customer so I felt compelled to respond. I'm so pleased with my pedicure and gel manicure. The pedicure area is clean and relaxing. Kim has the pedicure chairs set up with privacy curtains so the experience is peaceful. This salon uses LED lights, rather than UV lights for the gel manicure; this way your fingernails don't get the typical "burn" feeling and your skin doesn't suffer from the UV. Kim and Yan make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy your experience. I am looking forward to my next appointment! read more

Today is my third visit to the salon. At my second visit, I learned they have recently changed owners, ironically the new owner is also named Kim. She is great and very sweet. The salon is very clean and modern, and the massage chairs are wonderful. I'm very picky about the quality of the manicure and find they do a very good job. This is the best nail salon in Norwood. I am here religiously for my great pedicure and acrylic nails. Yen and Kim are so nice and take their time with every client. This nail salon was worth the trip. I decided to try somewhere new because I moved. They were kind and the place was clean. The nail equipment were all sterilized . New packet for each customer.
