We went here looking for organic veggies and fruits for our garden. The selection for the organic items was not all that great at the time we went. However they do have a wide selection of non organic as well as lots of trees , pollinators, and other cool plants! They have lots of gardening supplies as well. It was a bit pricy IMO. We did grab a couple plants and a few organic tomatoes , eggplants and parsley . So far the plants are doing well it's been about a month since purchased. The staff was scattered around and really helpful with any questions we had. They do offer some free gardening classes which I have yet to take advantage of but I think it's pretty cool of them to offer, So I added the 4th star due to this. I would go back to take a class and view their selections as I understand they are always getting new items, but not sure how much I'd leave with due to competitor pricing.

Got a variety of four (4) lavender plants I can plant in the rocks near pool; full sun and no sprinklers. Just got a new shipment and they are going fast; only $3.99!

I really like this place! Large selection of plants and nice staff. Customer service is decent and you can get answers to your questions relatively quickly (unlike one particular nursery in Austin). Prices are fare and plants are taken care of properly. I will return!

I love to visit this nursery in the spring. There's a couple nurseries in Round Rock and I can easily say that Round Rock garden is go-to if you want bigger trees, not so easily available fruit trees. We went in for a persimmon tree and bought a 7 foot fuyu persimmon + a giant 30 gallon little gem magnolia tree. I could not believe we bought the magnolia because everywhere I searched, it was either too small or just not in great shape. This one was beautiful and right at the entrance. The fuyu persimmon was the last one left and was around $60. The tree was already flowering and the since it bent quite a bit, the manager was gracious enough to offer stakes for it. They had several other beautiful rose plants that I had an eye on but sigh, I could blow all my money on plants that one day so resisted. We opted for the delivery which is a flat $50 fee (charged per distance). Here what can be done better - The delivery could have been better because inspite if explicitly asking to call, no one called on the day of delivery. Second - There's quite a few folks working at the nursery at any time but no one we reached out to was able to answers for questions like any guarantees for larger trees, return policy, how to take care of a new tree, are the fruit tree self pollinating. We asked on different days to 4 different people so this definitely needs to get better because if this happened at Lowe's, I would have still understood. They reason why I walk into a a nursery is because they are supposed to know these details and people like to make an educated buy. I will be back though :)

Jrs review is missing quite a few details. I purchased a package AND a nuc last spring from these folks as well as 3 queens over summer. I am picking up 2 queens next week and THREE nucs next month. I am entering my 2d year of beekeeping and last year split the nuc and the package. I am splitting the original nuc AGAIN this year as well as the split from the original nuc this year. My package split wasn't so successful because one colony absconded. That happens. I may have to split the original package this year....will wait and see. As for your comments about "old" frames. Yes...the frames may be old...not sure. HOWEVER...I have had nothing but GREAT luck with their bees. The nuc I purchased last year clearly was successful. I have four hives currently (two double deeps and 2 single deeps. Splitting the doubles next week and installing the queens I am picking up). I probably will not be buying nucs next year. Perhaps some queens because I expect to have at least NINE hives by fall this year if not more because of needed splits.

I recently purchased nucs from The Bee Supply in Round Rock (for the third time) and was…read moredisappointed with the condition they arrived in compared to what most beekeepers would reasonably expect from established spring nucs. The industry standard of a nuc is that it is intended to be a functioning miniature colony created from established hives, with well-developed brood patterns, adequate bee populations, drawn comb, and sufficient food stores already in place to support continued growth. The colonies I received did not reflect that expectation. They did not contain any full or nearly full frames of brood or food stores. Brood was sparse and mostly open, with no visible larvae during initial inspection/installation. Much of the comb area across multiple frames was unused, with significant empty space lacking brood, nectar, or honey stores. Honey reserves overall were minimal. Based on standard nuc expectations, I anticipated a consistently higher population density, multiple solid brood frames containing eggs, larvae, and capped brood, along with more established stores to support a successful transfer and buildup. The bees themselves appeared alive and workable. All queens were marked and appeared active. All were docile considering the ride and weather. However, the nucs in general seemed weak and underdeveloped relative to the price and expectations typically associated with quality nuc colonies. I would encourage prospective buyers to ask detailed questions about brood coverage, food stores, frame utilization, queen laying status, and overall colony strength before purchasing.

Told them I didn't want to spend more than $200 total but was ok spending that much if both saws ran like near new again. They verbally said total should be around $125 unless something was really bad. So 3 weeks after they said they should be done they said one was finished. It's total was $98. Then I'm told they could work on the other saw because the handle was broke so I agreed to let them fix it. No biggie as handle is under $35. When that saw was done it was $132. Here's where it gets good. The one saw is missing the oiler screw that I thought they were going to fix. Nope. The pull rope doesn't go all the way back in. Didn't look at that either. So WTF did they do? They "looked" over the entire saw and changed the spark plug and gas filter. That's it. So for not $125 but for $230 I basically got a new handle. I can change the spark plug in 2 minutes myself. And how the crap does a chainsaw repair shop NOT see the oiler screw completely missing, do they not test the saws for proper lubrication? I for sure thought they changed a carburetor (or both). Or at minimum had to adjust the carbs. Not sure how one can charge that much to change 2 spark plugs and 2 gas filters on a freaking chainsaw with a straight face.

I am a huge fan and have been since prior to their expansion into the U.S. market. As a student, I had access to materials for furniture and decor from all over the world. And of course, when I was just starting out with my first apartment, everything was IKEA from top to bottom. All of the stores pretty much have the same setup (there may be one or two small differences). What it boils down to for me is the availability of items, i.e., do they have what I want in stock?
