They took my order over the phone and one day later 12 cubic yards of Superior and 12 cubic yards of Simple soil were delivered. Professional drivers were very customer friendly. Next project is to begin filling my 5 Birdies steel 30" tall raised beds and my 4 Vego Garden 32" tall steel raised beds. I hope to have enough left over to restock my greenhouse with potting mix. Rocks were just dumped over the lights and no correction was made. They didn't even attempt to correct the issue but rather sent me nasty emails when I held back $300 of a $11k project. Jrs review is missing quite a few details. I purchased a package AND a nuc last spring from these folks as well as 3 queens over summer. I am picking up 2 queens next week and THREE nucs next month. I am entering my 2d year of beekeeping and last year split the nuc and the package. I am splitting the original nuc AGAIN this year as well as the split from the original nuc this year. My package split wasn't so successful because one colony absconded. That happens. I may have to split the original package this year....will wait and see. As for your comments about "old" frames. Yes...the frames may be old...not sure. HOWEVER...I have had nothing but GREAT luck with their bees. The nuc I purchased last year clearly was successful. I have four hives currently (two double deeps and 2 single deeps. Splitting the doubles next week and installing the queens I am picking up). I probably will not be buying nucs next year. Perhaps some queens because I expect to have at least NINE hives by fall this year if not more because of needed splits.

Yes, they sell bees here! They also offer beginning beekeeper classes for $99. The guys inside said that the first thing they do in the class is take you out to the beehive field nearby and let you test your bee grit. You know, to see if you can go out and discover for yourself if you're cut out for this hobby. Because really, do you have what it takes to be a beekeeper and be swarmed and stung by bees all of the time? Or are you terrified of them and want to run away screaming in terror? But you never know, you just might be a bee whisperer, like that chick in Fried Green Tomatoes, who could just walk up to a hive and stick her hand in and grab the honey without ever getting stung. Or on the flipside, it might turn out like it did for Macaulay Culkin's character in My Girl where he is killed by a hoard of angry bees! Regardless, this is the place to come to on your journey to finding it all out one way or another. For only $99, you will know for certain if beekeeping is right for you, and if it is, well then, you can drop another $1100 to acquire everything you need to start! Project is 10k+ after installation costs. Crew shows up on time and starts work to remove existing fence and posts. I get a call during this from American Fence telling me they have to upgrade posts from 4" to 6" at an additional cost of $400! Huh? I call and speak with a manger and he basically says they messed up. I'm waiting for the next sentence that tells me they will make this right. Didn't happen. Manger basically says, "too bad". Wow! Watch out.
