Round table pizza never disappoints when it comes to being deliciously cheesy and yummy! It has been difficult for me to discover any businesses with good pizza after moving to a small town in WA from CA. I am so glad there is a Round Table within driving distance!! It's about an hour round trip for me to get to this location but the garlic twists and pizza is totally worth the drive. There's just no other place that can replicate their parmesan garlic twists which tastes amazing with their ranch! I always customize a pizza for myself with their creamy garlic sauce with olives, bacon bits, and sometimes mushrooms whereas my family likes their [double/triple play] pepperoni pizza. I've been to several locations in general, and the taste has been consistent overall. They don't skimp on the toppings and the food always smells so good and tastes fresh! This location is very spacious and also seems to have a small arcade for kids too. I only ordered takeout though but seems like a decent place for a pizza party or family get together. Customer service didn't really stand out to me. Neither good nor bad. I placed my order online but it was not ready when I arrived; it also took a few mins before an employee came up to the front for me to check in with, but at least my order didn't take too long and was accurate when it came out: made how I wanted it and my ranch sauces were included :) (I've raised hell at a Round Table location before, for forgetting my ranch). Well we had some family come here before Xmas and we decided to try round table again. It's been quite awhile. They did have a 5 yr old so it was nice to have a game room for him to play in. Although I heard it was quite spendy he still had fun. Pizza was hot and fresh. We got the game day special with two sides. Wings in Polynesian were really good and so were the poppers ! It was a busy place today on a Sunday. U did have to order at the counter then sit. But they brought your pizza out when done. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience because I believe great service deserves recognition. Our group of about 15 visited for a birthday celebration , it was the first visit for most of us. From the start, our server Charlie went above and beyond. She was attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly. Despite clearly juggling multiple tables, she handled everything with professionalism delivering food, clearing tables, and ensuring everyone had what they needed. We were there from around 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., and throughout that time, it was clear Charlie was doing the majority of the work on the floor. Unfortunately, another staff member seemed less engaged, often on his phone or chatting rather than helping. It created a noticeable contrast in effort. I spoke with the bartender, who turned out to be the manager, to praise Charlie's outstanding service. He agreed, calling her his "superstar," and acknowledged the issue I mentioned with the other employee. As for the food, it was decent, though the wait for six pizzas was nearly an hour. Overall, the experience was made enjoyable because of Charlie's exceptional service. She truly stood out and represented the restaurant in the best possible way. There's something about Round Table Pizza that is unique. It also takes me back to my childhood. I've been eating there for 50 years and it's one of the few pizzas that remains consistent to this day. It's a different style of pizza than some, but I find it to be wonderful. In this neck of the woods, Round Table Pizza's luncheon pizza and salad buffet is usually a pretty reliable deal at a very good price. That's the situation at this location as well, but be aware that the salad bar selections aren't half as diverse as at other locations in Pierce County, with pretty much just the basics in bins that are often nearly empty and in need of refilling. By comparison, the location in South Hill Puyallup always has an amply supplied salad bar, with an impressive array of pizzas, with the Gig Harbor location running a close second. If you're thinking of pizza and salad for lunch, you might consider another location instead, as this one's selections are a mite skimpy by comparison. read more

We went to Round Table Pizza Clubhouse for the first time several months ago. We each had the pizza buffet and salad bar. The price was reasonable. Everything on the salad bar was super fresh -- and a huge variety. After a couple of months had passed, we went there a second time. When we walked in, ANDREA, the manager, not only recognized us, but she also remembered what we had ordered previously! That was incredible! We were stunned! We went there a third time recently and Andrea not only remembered us, but she remembered what we had ordered previously -- again. She is amazing!!! We decided to look at the menu on that recent day for lunch. The full menu is available including hot wings and every kind of pizza imaginable -- including a sweet "dessert" pizza. Andrea pointed out several lunch specials including a personal pizza (BTW there are 5 different sizes of pizza available) and special includes the salad bar and a soft drink. It was too good to pass up! It was FANTASTIC! You can choose 4 different toppings for the same price of the pizza lunch special. It was baked to order. Absolutely FANTASTIC! And as many trips through the salad bar as you'd like -- just getting a fresh bowl each time. The salad bar offers DOZENS of options including several varieties of salad dressings. Just some of the items we chose included pickled beets, baby carrots, grape tomatoes, ham, pepperoni, black olives, pepperoncini, fresh mushrooms, red onions, sweet green peas (frozen) so absolutely fresh, potato salad, mixed greens, baby spinach, croutons, Plus cottage cheese and peaches! Toppings include grated cheese combination and also parmesan. Bountiful sunflower seeds are included, too! Yum!!! I told ANDREA I want to write a POSITIVE Yelp review for Round Table Clubhouse. She seemed genuinely thrilled. I should also mention that the women's restroom is CLEAN, well-stocked, and SPACIOUS. (Needless to say, I didn't check-out the men's restroom) The "Clubhouse" includes a gaming area with electronic games of all sorts. Great place for kids' celebrations and for family get-togethers. Round Table Clubhouse is also something of a sports bar with an actual bar and numerous TVs mounted on the walls and tuned to sports broadcasts. But even so, there is a pleasant music sound system playing yet even with all of that, it is still very easy to hear in there. In other words, the noise level is such that it still allows guests to have a pleasant conversation at lunch without having to shout at each other in order to be heard. The location is in a strip mall and there's lots of free parking. We look forward to our next visit! We could easily spend the same amount of money at McDonald's and yet not have anything close to the freshness and quality -- plus the quantity -- of the nutritious foods for a fabulous, balanced meal. read more

Our pizza is always fantastic, the employees are friendly (especially the manager), and it's a really fun place for our family. My daughter loves the games and it is also a fine place for adults without children. I haven't patroned a Round Table Pizza in about a decade. A good neighbor had a fundraiser going at this location for their school, so I decided to give it a try. Glad that I contributed, but I would have rather handed over the money than actually getting food from here. It's been a long time since I've felt like I've needed to drink an abundance of water after eating one piece of pizza, but here I am. The pizzas were good, we had a cheese for the kids and a meat lovers for the adults. It wasn't very busy but seemed like it could hold a lot of people. I used to frequent Round Table Pizza when I lived in California and was super excited when I realized there was a location about an hour north of where I live in Washington. I stopped in for pizza today. My husband and I ordered an extra large King Arthur's supreme, and a personal pepperoni and black olive. I also ordered the all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar has a very good variety. Although the food was great, the cleanliness of the restaurant left a little to be desired. The women's bathroom was out of toilet paper, and the salad bar was out of ranch dressing. When I pointed both of these things out to the staff they addressed them immediately which was good. They did have five or six televisions in the place all tuned to sports channels. It would be nice to see some variety on the TVs - something other than sports. The food definitely gets a five star rating if they could improve on the cleanliness and be a little more attentive to those kind of details I would give them five stars overall. read more

I understand this happens, but this isn't something that customers should pay for. If it does happen, someone should at least communicate with the customer and see if they want to wait for another pizza. That to me is a win-win or at least communicates you value. We used to go to this location all the time when it first opened. The original manager was great, and the service all around was great too. But when he left, it appears that whoever owns this franchise just doesn't seem to care about customer service. We've been there several times over the last year, and each time it just seems to get worse. Last night we went on a Saturday, around 6pm. We walked in and were going to sit in the bar. First thing I noticed was the screens with the tap lists were all turned off. Not a great start. But then we noticed a sign at the bar that read 'if no bartender, order as counter' So we knew right there, not going to get any service. But we were there, and didn't want to go somewhere else. So I went up to the counter, and ordered our food (1 large pizza and wings and 1 beer). The sat back down. 10 minutes go by, no beer. So I walk back up to the counter and ask, and the girl goes. Oh ya, let me find someone who can do that. I go back to my seat and about 10 minutes later someone brings my beer. Still no appetizers. 10-15 minutes later our pizza is brought up (the pizza was fine, hot and fresh). When they drop it off, she says 'your wings will be out soon'. What's the point of an appetizer if it comes out after the main meal? So we are sitting there with the pizza, but were not given any napkins, plates, silverware etc. So I had to once again, go up to the counter and ask for these things. Wings were brought out about 10 minutes after the pizza, again the wings were good. We decided last night, we will not be back. It seems like this location has more or less changed their model and just want to be a take out place. As we saw a lot of people just picking up orders. Which is sad, because I really liked how when it first opened, that it had a bar for 21+ and more sports bar type of place. Edit: 5/2/22. So I emailed Round Table corp as recommended below by Leah H. I get a response a few days later saying basically that each location is independently owned and it's up to the owner to care I guess. So not sure why I was asked to email corporate, if they don't seem to care either. Was just a waste of my time. "Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience at Round Table Pizza. We sincerely apologize for your dissatisfaction. As branded locations are independently owned and operated, your concern has been sent directly to the franchise owner. Please expect an email from them within the next three to four business days. If you are not contacted or are unsatisfied with the resolution, please let us know. We appreciate your feedback and hope to continue to provide you with excellent products and experiences." As of today 5/12, no response from the owner of that franchise and no response to this review. So take that as you will. They just lost us as a customer who used to go there regularly. read more

Consistent. Friendly service. Delicious pizza. The delivery is normally pretty quick. And even if it's not it's worth the wait. We've tried just about every pizza place in Tacoma and there are a lot of good spots. But we keep coming back to round table. The pizza has so much flavor, so many toppings, a sauce with some kick, and a perfect crust. Not chewy, not too thin, just right (for me). With delivery we usually turn the oven up to 400 degrees as soon as we place the order. When it gets here we throw it in the oven on a pizza rack and 10 minutes later .... Mmmmmmmmmmmm. There is a short red head young lady who did AMAZING for her to not have any assistance (mind you she was doing register, cleaning tables, and in the kitchen). This location should be ashamed. I ordered a dessert pizza and it was brittle, only reason I didn't return it was due to the long wait and the poor employee already having enough on her plate to handle. Now, the bad. This place was filthy. I used to work at a Round Table in Spokane and I can tell you that the state of this restaurant would not have been acceptable. We were the first customers today. The booth seats had food on them, floors not mopped, napkin dispensers were empty, silverware in the bin was not all clean, men's room was not cleaned the night before. PUBIC HAIR in my salad!!! I just had the worst experience of customer service at a restaurant. I ordered delivery from Round Table Pizza and found pubic hair in my salad! When I called in to talk to the manager about it, he proceeded to tell me how "that's really hard to believe" and told my that my account with them has been flagged because I have previously complained about orders (how is it my fault that they have messed up my order in the past?) He then told me that in order to get my money back I would need to bring the pubic hair in the salad in to prove that it was real. So already extremely angry about the hair, I now had to leave the company that we had invited over to get my money back? So I took the salad and pubic hair in to prove it was real. Marquise, the manager was whom I spoke with on the phone and was just as rude when I showed up in person. He kept trying to justify why it was "unlikely" that something like this would happen. After about 30 mins of arguing with this guy about how to treat a customer when they complain about pubic hair in their food, I finally got my money back. We order pizza from round table multiple times a month, but because of this experience, I will never order from them again. Our family has been coming here for years. We are creatures of habit and get the same pizza every time. Today, the pizza arrived at the table: wrong size, missing a topping and very burnt to the point the mushrooms were completely black and shrivelled (wish i would have taken a photo). We requested they remake the size we purchased, not even complaining about the rest. The manager came out and argued that Round Table had NEVER made that pizza for us at this location (an extra large pizza with "as thin a crust as they can make it"). The dude, hope that is not the manager of this place because he was extremely rude & aggressive, told me to shut up, he was trying to resolve this and I was not helping. The statement that infuriated him was my stating "we have been getting the same pizza for a decade". Replacement pizza arrived and was also burnt. When we complained this one was burned too he got really mad and asked what we expected!! Ummm, we expected what every customer expects- just to receive what we ordered and not receive it burned. Will never come here again when this guy is working. We got our money back, however they would not refund the tip. After he returned our money he yelled at us a couple times from across the room even though we had said nothing further to him or anyone because we were in such shock over his behavior. Our pizza was made as directed, however it took over an hour to be delivered (we live maybe 7 minutes from this location) and it was barely warm. Even tho we specifically asked for a FEW parmesan and red pepper packets when ordering, we only received one of each...... the delivery person handed over the pizza and walked away quickly. I was impressed by how packed and vibrant this place was compared to the other two locations in the Tacoma area. I ordered pizza over the phone 30mins before my arrival and as soon as I arrived they had not even put the pizza in yet. What?! This was a huge red flag, yet I waited. The guy offered us some breadsticks while we waited which was nice. I checked out the salad bar and everything was clean and well organized. Upon getting our pizza everything looked delicious. Which means they have a full service bar and some other food items that your typical Roundtable restaurant doesn't offer.
