We always come after Tacoma Nomads Rugby games have pizza and beer... service is attentive, at the bar or sitting in the back room. They opened up the patio for us to sit out on a nice day, definitely a great addition when enjoying the brief glimpses of sun in the PNW spring.

My second check-in because my first one was misspelled! Be wary of speaking into your phone. Margherita!

We went to Parky's yesterday and tried the Margherita pizza. Wow! It was fantastic! The dough is unbelievable. It was chewy and so tasty. The toppings seem really fresh. The time before, my pizza was a little crispy for my liking, but this one was so good. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe or if it was just made differently, but It was a great pizza. Also, the bartender eas super sweet! Stop in here!

Simple pizza menu, great food and service, definitely worth coming here. Staff are so friendly and I actually appreciated them taking their time making their Italian pizza, it was fire!

It's a dive bar. No it's not. Well yes it is, kind of. No really it's just a really local joint to meet friends. I typically do not talk "food" as I am very much NOT a foodie but damn they have great pizzas and maybe even better salads. They both kick ass. When you walk in your first impression might suggest that you turn around and leave, but if you do you are going to miss out. The design is almost oxymoronic in that it "smells" like a dive but "looks" like something more...so it ain't no "Duck" if you're following my cliche' reference. In the main room check out the really nice wood slab lighting fixtures that are not dive-esk. Then give yourself a treat and wander out back to the back patio and courtyard with its pool tables, fire pit, more seating and an overall cool vibe. Since being introduced to this place by a very good friend, we have already gone 3 times in under a months time with one occasion being my birthday. My decision to return for my B-day

Not a huge fan of the ambience in Bar Rosa, plywood floors and very dark. We were sat in a booth, and it was as the sun was setting. The windows are all illuminated and beyond filthy (inside) - it was hard not to notice with the windows open and leaning towards our table. I also was the unfortunate one to have the sun straight and my face for about half of our dinner. Service was hit or mess. We waited a long time with no check in for more cocktails. The cocktail choices are great, however, they were out of a particular cocktail my friend wanted to order. We started with the meatballs, not good. The sauce however was phenomenal! Meatballs were just very dense and dry. The appetizer came out not even 5 minutes after our order was put in, so they were lukewarm at best. When we ordered our pizza, they were out of the homemade sausage, this was Saturday night at 6pm???, so we ordered the foraged pizza as is. The pizza was delicious. My friends ordered the Marguerita - crust was a bit over done. Food was good- $30 a pizza good, not in my opinion. Hi, generally do not leave negative reviews- I look for the silver lining at majority of restaurants I visit- but this was a tough one for me. Again- maybe an off night.

It looked gorgeous when I took a picture of it and I shared with my boyfriend and little brother who enjoyed it too! Some differences that I noticed is that the outdoor seating is just a few tables and chairs outside so you can enjoy your meal outside and they do have dog water bowls out too! The other difference is that dogs are also welcomed inside! I told this when I received my order and I was chatting with the two employees at the counter. I wished I had gotten their names but they were so inviting and kind. That was another difference, I got service as I feel like that is very lacking at the Puyallup location. They were also friendly with their other guests as well! I definitely look forward to coming back with friends, family, boyfriend and fur babies!

No reservation, so we ended up at the bar -- worth noting that the regular seating, despite it being a large space, gets booked up fast so plan ahead if you're coming with a group or prefer a table. The atmosphere more than made up for it though -- really well put together decor, dimly lit but somehow still vibrant and lively. Service was good, nothing over the top. Drinks were really good. The burger was a standout -- loved the caramelized onions. The burrata appetizer rolls were also excellent, highly recommend those. The veggie pizza was decent -- the dough was great but the toppings were a bit bland. Asked for red chili flakes which helped, but it could use a bit more flavor out of the gate. Solid stop if you're passing through Tacoma and not feeling seafood. Worth going out of your way for.
