Came here for week day buffet. Not worth it. Measly salad bar, some garlic knots, and pizza + a drink. We waited for fresh pizza to come out. When the pizza is fresh, it tasted pretty good. However, over it sat for just 20 mins, it didn't look good anymore. They had jalapeño and pepperoni, veggie, and a Buffalo chicken pizza. They were nice to ask what kind of pizza we wanted since we were 1 of 2 tables there taking part of the lunch buffet. Wouldn't recommend their lunch buffet for $14.99 plus tax. read more

There is a nostalgic atmosphere that I found warm. Pizza was fresh and crust was the good crunchy. Did not skimp on the toppings. And as much as I like the mom and pops, like Frank Pepe's in New Haven, Connecticut, I have to admit Roundtable Pizza is really good! Now that I have been to a bunch of pizza places in Illinois, I know to categorize Round Table regular crust pizza as a type of tavern pizza. The only thing missing is being cut into squares. It has the toppings to the edge, a thin crispy crust, and chunk free sauce. However, the sauce has much more flavor or kick than traditional pizza sauce anywhere. That's one of the things that makes this place special. I think they also use a three cheese blend of mostly mozzarella, but some cheddar and provolone thrown into the mix. Because of this, it really tastes good and somewhat different. I grew up eating it but now I appreciate it..... Pro tip: for extra goodness, ask for the mini pepperonis, which I now know because of my extensive Pizza travels is called cup and char pepperoni.... Just showed up for round tables.All you can eat lunch buffet.I was very disappointed and the fact that just because I was the only person at roundtable at noon, which is a normal time for lunch.They did not put out a new Pizza even though I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for one every other patron that came in was asked if they wanted a their own personal Pizza while I was stuck at my table, twiddling my thumbs waiting for the rest of the all you can eat.I recommend not coming here if you are hungry or if you think you're going to get more than 1 or 2 slices of Pizza. Wow! Place opens at 11 with their "all you can eat" lunch. I arrived at 11:15 and no pizzas were ready for lunch. The guy working there tells me it'll be another 15 minutes. After about 20 minutes, he walks out with one pizza. One pie with half pepperoni and the other half Hawaiian. I left at 12:20 with no other pizza coming out. There were only 2 of us there for the buffet while they had numerous people come in for other orders. They just seemed overwhelmed. Guessing they don't get a lot of "buffet" business. My family and I recently visited this Round Table location for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised, mostly due to one particular person. I never go into "fast-food" restaurants with high expectations nowadays but I should have this time! My family and I were greeted and taken care of by a young lady by the name of Taylor. She was highly personable and welcoming, something you don't find very often anymore. She was great with answering any questions my children had, and made sure we had everything we needed for our whole visit. I don't write many reviews but felt the need to share my experience . Came here after a long hike with a big group and thought the place had decent customer service and A-OK pizza! I had the BBQ chicken pizza and it was actually pretty darn good with a decent medium sized crust and tasty-ish toppings. I also ordered bone-in wings and although the restaurant at first made a mistake and brought out boneless wings (recommend not ordering these as they are like chicken nuggets!), they quickly corrected it and brought out crispy wings. They were pretty delish! The garlic-parm was good and most importantly: the wings were crispy and delicious. Ordering is at the counter and then they bring it out to your table, which makes it relatively seamless. Went here to get ice cream at Claremont Cones just after a heartbreaking visit to the animal hospital. Turns out Claremont Cones was closed but we were happy to see Round Table Pizza right next door! Pizza came out piping hot--one BBQ chicken and one Masonator. The salad bar was also fresh so no complaints here! What a way to ruin my appetite and dinner. I was 80% through a slice of what I thought was cheesy pizza until I could tell something was off and spit it out trying not to throw up. Everything I was chewing on was globs of raw dough. Upon calling to report the issue and hopefully get a replacement dinner, my options were a 1 1/2 hour wait till 9:30pm or a pizza at a later date. I asked for my money back and was then told I get nothing, no replacement pizza another day I'm just shit out of luck for ordering round table for dinner. Friendly staff and hot delicious pizza! King Arthur would be proud indeed. I needed to feed my inner pizza-loving 12 year old and RT Pizza was up to the task. I placed my order of 2 XL pizzas, wings and parm twists and had a pint of ale whilst I waited for my food. This neighborhood location is conveniently located in the Vons parking lot and because of its proximity, my pizza gets home fast and blazing hot. Love it. The dining room is chill too... Nothing like a Friday night pizza from Round Table! We had a craving for the Gourmet Veggie - artichoke hearts, zucchini, and lots of other yummy toppings. Ordered from a really nice gal on the phone and headed over to pick it up. The pizza was made quickly and came out hot and smelled delicious! We split a Pomona Queen beer while we waited. Baseball was on tv and we sat in one of the booths. There are some arcade games and coin machines too if you have kids. My review is for the service and a dog they allowed in here. My family and I stopped by on our way to Mt baldy, a lady and her family stop by and they had a little dog with them. She was carrying him and petting him, she then sat down and let him walk around under the table while so use the tongs to get salad. That was nasty and they didn't seem to have a problem with that. Round Table has always been the best of the large pizza store chains. There are better pizza joints around, but none better for the large corporate pizza joints. We've been coming to this location for several decades and seen different owners. Not always the best service, but never horrible. It's just good pizza with an OK price with OK service.
