My family and I tried Gina's on a whim tonight. We always pass by and finally decided to give it a go. I'm so happy we did! We ordered their medium pizza deal that came with chicken and mojo-like potatoes and everything was made to order, delicious, and fresh--the quality of everything was impressive! My family and I all agreed that everything was seasoned to perfection as well. Nothing was salty and we didn't feel bloated afterwards like one would typically feel after eating "heavy" foods. Another thing I can not rave enough about is the owner, Gina. She is beyond kind and friendly, she has such a warm and inviting presence. This place is a unlabeled Shakeys, and the food is exactly how you remember it. The chicken is fresh and so are the potatoes. It always feels like you're being transported about ten years back because the food is so nostalgic. The service is excellent and Gina is always so kind. My family came with a large group and they were beyond accommodating. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will warn you it's not cheap pizza but it is good. Good place to bring the kids and the food just takes ya back. The parking lot is a good size and it's rare you won't find a spot. Definitely a local gem that doesn't get enough recognition. We were looking for Shakeys pizza parlor and Google Maps brought us to this location near our Airbnb. As we pulled up we were greeted by Gina and asked if we here for a pick up order. We learned that the name changed but they used the same recipes. Hungry and tired we gave it a shot. From 3 chicken and pizza snobs we highly recommend this place. Same recipe and flavor as I remember from growing up in Cali and eating at Shakey's. Gotta say though this was the freshest and most delicious Mojo's, Pizza, and chicken we ever eaten at a Shakey's now Gina's chicken &Pizza. No menu when we went. Impossible to know pricing. 2 large pizzas 1 order of mojos and 8 piece chicken and 1 plate for salad ran us $114. Pizza was reminiscent of shakeys pizza backing it's peak time. The mojo potatoes are huge, like slice of bread huge. The chicken was the worst of the bunch, greasy and flavorless. Took the rest home as leftovers for our party of 3. Reheating the mojos was still good. The pizza wasn't as good reheated. The chicken was mediocre and bland. You could get cheaper and more flavorful from a grocery store. Only took 1 hour to be stuck on the toilet all day and night, all of usimpacted . This was the only thing we ate that day. Tip: using a card for payment will cost $3.
