Poor management since they moved to their new location. Ordered the pizza at 6:17...it's 7:59 and they still don't know where my pizzas are. They were hit HARD because of the storm today (2/6/15), but wow...to not know how to manage the 5 of us who are waiting for our pizzas who were told they would be ready at 7:00...humm. That being said, Josh is delightful and Justin tries to calm the people who are being told their pizzas are lost. Yikes!!! No offer for a discount or free anything for the inconvenience. Welcome to the world of "NO-customer service"!!! This sadly is the second time this has happened here to me. Two strikes, and they are out. Boo-hoo, I loved Roundtable. The supervisor Jessica is very rude, and obnoxious. She messed up my order and chose to argue with me, while the other staff thought this matter was a joke and laughing in the back about it, you would think they would have some respect for the people that support them but they don't. I ordered the triple threat (3 types of pepperoni) the toppings did not go to the end as advertised (pizza didn't look a thing like the picture they show) and on TV it was advertised that you would receive 6 wings; I didn't receive any wings and was disappointed in the conservative toppings on the pizza. This place lost me when I waited forever to pay (pizza maker/cashier was in the back). After finally being greeted by the pizza chick with her gloves on from making the pizzas, she did my cash transaction and returned to making pizzas with her gloves on. I looked around and wondered if anyone else paid with cash and how many pizzas she contaminated. I will not eat here. The salad bar upon inspection had a bunch of the rusty old crappy pieces in it. This review is for the new location in Clayton Station. I have been to this new location twice with my family, and there is good and not-so-good to report. Let's start with the good: The pizza, garlic bread, and cinnamon twists were baked perfectly. Yum! Great location for us Claytonites. Had a coupon the first time, and the second time we received our meal 50% off because they could not make the large pizza with 1/4 pineapple (they can only do halves). Wow, we weren't expecting to get a discount for them not being able to accommodate our request and really appreciate that they did that for us. Okay, the not-so-good: Both times when the pizza was brought to our table we had to ask for plates. And we noticed other parties requesting plates when their pizza arrived as well. Bringing plates to the table should just be an automatic for them. Also, there are no garbage cans, so you have to leave your plates and dirty stuff behind - we did see several tables (and it is a very small restaurant) that needed to be cleaned. I really, really hope this store doesn't get dirty like their old one that was located near Kmart down the street. That restaurant was extremely dirty each time we went. My son and I tried to eat here tonight. Ordered 2 personal pizzas and the cashier told us it will take 20 minutes. Waited and 20 minutes passed and no pizza. I asked the counter where our pizza was and she said that it was coming out of the oven now. I went back to our table and a guy came by and ask if we already received our pizza and I said no. He then said our pizza will take another 15 minutes. I was puzzled as to why, so I went back to the counter and apparently they forgot to put our pizza in the oven. Bad service!!!! As I approached the counter here a man on the other side also approached but didn't say a word. After an awkward few seconds of staring at one another I said "hi," at which point he must have realized this is where he speaks and in a barely audible voice he said how can I help you. We ordered are pizza at 5:38. Was told less than 45 min. At 6:55 I called asking Where my pizza was. They didnt know about 5 min later they figured out it was out for delivery no apology for it being late nothing. It finally shows up at close to 7:30 almost cold one pizza box was crushed in. I provide as detailed a review as possible, while still be 'fair'. I breakdown my reviews in categories. I hope you find my review useful. I rate on a scale of 1 to 5; 1 is low and 5 is high. First, after reading the reviews, we opted for another pizza parlor. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. We were going to another pizza parlor but decided to stop at this restaurant instead. I am glad we did because we learned a great deal. We arrived at the restaurant at approximately 1:20pm. 1. Appearance of restaurant. At first glance when we walked in, I was a little taken back. We could not find a clean table until we walked in the back area; there were several tables needing to be bussed. I will elaborate more below. Rating: 2. 2. Friendliness of staff. The cashier (female) was very nice and accommodating. I only saw one other employee and we did not speak. Rating for the cashier: 5! 3. Adequate number of employees. After we sat for about 20 minutes, I noticed none of the tables were bussed yet. After the cashier finished with the line of customers, she bussed the tables. She also cleaned up after people making messes at the salad, pizza, and drink bars. I blame the lack of the proper number of employees on management. I can understand a cashier 'helping' with bussing tables, should the need arise, but there needs to be another employee just for bussing tables, cleaning the floors around tables so we're not stepping on food, etc. I only saw one other employee the entire time we were there, and she prepared the food and brought it out. Now, there could have been another person prepping food in the kitchen, but I did not see anyone. Rating: 1. 4. Quality & Appearance of food. When I walked in, I immediately walked to the salad bar to see the condition of the foods. I read several reviews and there was a definite concern about this area. I am quite particular about my salad; however, upon viewing the salad bar, it looked good to me. We decided to stay and eat. Now, the other reviews I read said it looked as if the salad bar foods had been out a very long time. The freshness of our salad bar could have because we arrived within a couple of the opening hour. Who knows? If we arrived during the dinner hour, I might have a different opinion. I will say that the salad bar was good with the exception of the fresh fruit. The cantaloupe appeared to have been frozen, causing it to be mushy. I gave my granddaughter a slice of orange. She bit into it and said, "I don't want this; it doesn't taste good". Strike two for the "fresh" fruit. There was not any fresh pizza when we went through the line, but we each took one slice. When the new pizzas arrived, they were very good. If it was sausage and pepperoni, there was plenty on the pizza; likewise the other pizzas. My granddaughter loved the cheesy sticks and the cinnamon sticks. Ratings: salad bar, 4; pizza bar, 4; drink bar, 5. Overall rating: 4. 5. Entertainment. There are TVs available, however, there is no WiFi. That was a big disappointment. Rating: 3. 6. Condition/Appearance of bathroom(s). None of us used the bathroom facilities, so I cannot provide a rating in this area. Rating: N/A. 7. Value. The cost of the buffet is about average. I have paid more at other establishments. This restaurant also provides a military discount! Rating: 5. My overall rating would be 3.5 stars, and I do not roundup, unless I really think it deserves it. I would give this restaurant another try during the dinner hour, to see if the foods are as other people reviewed. However, for me, today, this restaurant gets 3 stars. Bon appetite! read more

They didn't give me pizza or a refund. Everyone working here should be fired. My New Year's Eve is ruined thanks to this place and my family is going to have to go without food tonight I guess as they waited until everywhere else is closed to tell me they don't make pizza at this location. All we have at the house is a few pieces of bread and tap water and thanks to round table charging me $50 and no refund I can't even buy groceries. My mom gets low blood sugar if she doesn't eat so I just hope she makes it through the night :( read more

Although the delivery man was pleasant my pizza was cold I had to microwave it and the girl who took my order didn't put my soda with the order. In other words she didn't listen. Not sure how companies stay in business forgetting items they lose $ that way. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH, CHRISTINA IS SUCH A NICE PERSON, AND HONESTLY HAS THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AT A ROUND TABLE. My food came out fast and was amazing as per usual for this location. It was clean and every employee had smile and asked if I needed anything. Every person is so nice, even if I come in 20 minutes before closing I love each and everyone so much. I haven't ordered an actual pizza from round table in ages. Came in late one night and a pizza sounded good and nostalgia got the best of me. We ordered the combo supreme cuz we can never decide what we want and that fits the bill for everyone...or they take off what they don't like. Don't get me wrong, I think Round table is one of the better pizza chains. And this most recent pizza WAS good. But the price came to near $30 for the extra large...which *ahem* was not THAT large. It's not a knock on this location in general but perhaps to the company as a whole. When other places (which will remain un named) are charging a third of the price for the same thing...you gotta wonder why. Maybe it's only the buffet that is worth it... read more

We wanted pizza and this place was in the area, got there around 12:30 and the dude at the counter was a kinda blah, like we he didnt wanna be there, not really enthusiastic, that's the look and impression he gives off, when you order and speak to him, didn't bother me too much as long as you do your job, the restaurant was clean and looked nice over and it is smelled normal, restrooms were clean, smelled normal, no foul odors! The manager dude was very helpful, customer friendly, seemed like he really cared, wish I woulda got his name, I'd go back when he there I liked his customer service! he also asked how was everything was, etc.it,Thanks! it was also close end of lunch buffet like minutes to go, we requested a certain type of pizza, few minutes left just as I thought oh am here we go no pizza, along with other customers , they busted out with all kinda of pizza! Round Table Pizza - Cisco here! - Pizza Near Me - Concord, California

We went to this Round Table for the first time tonight. I will start by saying I'm surprised this location has a 2 star rating. We were greeted by Joshua W as soon as we walked in the door. Prior to ordering I asked if he could put the Giants game on one of the TVs. After ordering he turned the Giants game on a TV right next to our table. It wasn't very busy which was nice since our kids could play in the kids play area and we could still keep our eye on them. They also had kids/board games you could bring to the table. Our pizza came out very quick and it was good!!! Overall experience was nice! We will definitely go back!!! read more

It's a very.... indifferent place. I got a pizza and side salad to go. Salad bar was depressing. It just didn't look fresh or appetizing, which I should have guessed and not been surprised. I am a fan of round table pizza and since this is a new location I thought I would give it a try. I ordered online which I found to be fairly quick. It took an hour to arrive so if your going to order from here order early. The guy that showed up was very polite and even asked us if we would like any extra parmesan cheese or pepper seasonings. My order was a little crazy with special requested toppings and they got it all right. All in all, we were very pleased and will be coming back here again soon. read more

(Josh was a big help): Most of the time with this place i have a problem or it just has people behind the counter that really dont care for the job nor the customer or they are young and seem to have no professionalism about them or any type of work ethic.but tonight my out look on this place changed a bit as josh helped me out alot by working with me since they were out of large pizza, which is pretty crazy in its self, the fact that a pizza place is out of Large and i think med size but i asked for 2 smalls and to have the price to be the same since i wanted a large but could not have it since it they were out and i also wanted to use a coupon for a large and he helped me out and charged me same price and also let me use my coupons very nice guy and because of him i will be returning to this place to get pizza if he is working. Gosh, I was really hoping to give the new Round Table a good review, the first time we ordered and picked up! Unfortunately cannot, as I ordered a 1/2 PEPPERONI/pineapple and 1/2 Pepperoni/Olive/Mushroom. They did Ham on the first half. My daughter doesn't like ham. We ordered a pizza this afternoon online. We love the taste of Round Table, especially my kids. We normally order online so we can walk in and pick-up, without waiting. The pizza is always ready on time and hot! I ordered an X-large pizza and put in the comment section, "1/4 cheese only please". Jessica called me and told me they could only put cheese on 1/2 the pizza. I said, "ok, that is fine". When I picked up the pizza they gave me my X-large and an extra small cheese pizza. That was totally unexpected, and totally over the top customer service. It's refreshing when businesses take care of their customers. I will continue getting our pizza with this Round Table. The pizza came an hour after the estimated delivery time, and we were about 2 miles from the restaurant. We called 3 times and each time they told us that the driver was on her way. It was not until our final call that they finally conceded to giving us a refund. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. We order from here at least once a month and last month we got an incorrect order so they promised us a free pizza next time. We tried to order today to get that free pizza and it was a totally nightmare. An hour after not getting our pizza we called and they said our pizza was delivered to another house but would get another one out to us in 20 min. 40 min later still no pizza so we called again. This time we spent 15 min talking to Daniel the shift supervisor where he lied to us repeatedly saying they had no record of us, that no one in the store had any knowledge of our calls and calling us liars that just wanted free pizza. He told us the only way we would get our pizza was if we came into the store so we did. Even after we showed him our phone record he still called us liars. Luckily his coworker stepped up and quickly made us our pizza. I'm not one that believe the customer is always right but I'm pretty sure that calling the customer a liar isn't a good business practice. Review for the new location in the Clayton Shopping Center... Tried to order a pizza last night and never received it. Ordered the pizza at 6:15 and at 7:30 called to check the status. They said they are really busy and to give it another 20 minutes. Around 8:15 called again and they said it is out for delivery and should be there shortly. Called around 8:50 and again told us to give it 10 more minutes and if we don't receive it to call back and speak to the manger. Called back and spoke to the manager. He said he would reimburse and that he was still going to make a pizza and have it delivered. Waited until 9:30 and said screw it and went to bed. We will NEVER order pizza from this location again. read more

I am giving this restaurant 5 stars because of the manager, Gina. We came in for the lunch buffet and was told by a worker that they were not going to be putting any more food out, even though they had very little items left and it was only around 1:30. We were a little perturbed but didn't have the time to go somewhere else and just ordered a pizza and the salad bar, costing us so much more than the buffet price. We complained to the manager and she refunded us to match the buffet price. They did have more food come out, the other worker was misinformed, but it was so gracious of Gina to make us feel heard, and to put it right. Thank you so much Gina, we will definitely come again. Just to clarify for other readers: This is the same Round Table at 5434 Ygnacio Valley road. They've created two profiles it seems in order to dodge all the bad reviews they're getting. They've earned every star they do and don't have. Their delivery is unreliable and their manager is in the business of hanging up on customers when they bring it to their attention. I've ordered from them a lot and I give good tips. I order pizza and I move on with my life The last four times have been a disaster, but this last time I finally said something about it. The previous two times I did let them know that they messed up my order (sauces missing, side items missing, wrong drinks, etc). The last 3 ocassions no apology was even given, but as I said I just wanted my food and to be left in peace so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't raise the complaint. This time I brought the delivery screw up to their attention and the manager, no kidding, yelled at me for screwing up my own order and then hung up in my face. I had called to ask where the delivery was and she told me they cancelled the order because they tried to deliver it. I told her I didn't know what was going on with that because I haven't had anyone come to my home but that in any case I want the pizza and want to re-order (their delivery takes a long time, but again, I'm always giving them the benefit of the doubt). I let her know that this was the fourth time I've had an issue with their delivery and asked her what's going on lately. She completely denied the whole ordeal, offered no apologies for the bad service, blamed me for not receiving the delivery and hung up the call. If that's shocking to you, imagine my own reaction. They've got low ratings here for a reason it seems. The service is just rude. If they were at least striving to improve I wouldn't even come here, but you people need to be warned that they don't care about your order at all. I wouldn't recommend this particular restaurant to my worst enemy. They don't own up to their mistakes and the management has no intention of at least trying to do better. Round Table as a company has great pizza, but this location should definitely be avoided. We have ordered delivery from here numerous times. All of a sudden today they cannot deliver to our house. We placed the order, then 36 minutes later Gina the manager called to say they cannot deliver to our home. This was a major inconvenience because they took so long to let us know they couldn't developer here. When speaking with Gina, the manager, she just brushed us off, said she didn't care, and couldn't authorize the delivery. No dinner tonight. read more
