We visited this pizza place over the weekend and absolutely loved it. We ordered extra large thick pizza, ravioli, and bruschetta. Everything was absolutely delicious, but I loved ravioli the most. Bruschetta was also very nice warm and soft. Kiddos loved the pizza. So this place has something for everyone in the family. The staff is really friendly and they give you enough time to order everything and not rush you. The ambience is also very nice and calm. I really wanted to like this place! Nestled in the perimeter of Todos Santos Plaza, Cafe Napolina looked like a cute Italian American spot. -Calamari was a small portion, cornmeal crusted and tough. Definitely overcooked. - Caesar salad was average - Alfredo with chicken and added shrimp - it was creamy - spaghetti with meatballs were tasty - Tartufa Sicilian style pizza had so much potential - it looked so much better than it tasted. There was an off taste like old oil from the crust and the flavors didn't work for us. Should have stuck with the thin crust and red sauce. It was the first time we didn't take leftovers home. Came here on a Sunday night, walking by. The server was very energetic and extremely attentive. The ambiance of the place was great too! Lots to look at while waiting for the food to arrive. The tables were also clean, not sticky. The Italian guava soda and Caesar salad were SO good! Had anchovy in it too but was very fresh and the amount of salad was generous as well. The pastrami sandwich was very moist and the pastrami was so good! I've had pastrami elsewhere that were hard to eat because they were chewy or stringy but these were fantastic. Tiramisu was also very good! The calamari was slightly disappointing because the batter and actual calamari didn't go well together and texture of the fried batter was more coarse than my liking. We decided to finally check this restaurant out for dinner. We went early, so it wasn't busy yet. We shared an order of bruschetta and a pastrami sandwich. The food was ok. The bruschetta could have been better with basil rather than parsley. My husband thought the pastrami sandwich was ok. The fries were very good. All in all, it was just ok. Maybe we are still missing our favorite place nearby that closed due to landlord issues. In comparison, this place doesn't measure up. We may give this place another try someday. We ordered the ravioli, truffle fries, calamari, and mango avocado salad. The prices were surprisingly low, which made sense once the food arrived, as the portions were very small. The calamari lacked flavor, and the batter tasted more like what's used for chicken cutlets. The highlights of the meal were the ravioli and the truffle fries. I came here because my in laws enjoy this place. I ordered the Margherita Sicilian pizza because I love a thick crust. The crust was bad. Tasted stale and was hard on the edges. I had just had amazing pizza in this style in sand Diego so was disappointed this wasn't up to par. The flavors of the toppings, sauce and cheese were delicious but the crust ruined it. I was hungry so I ate it. If they work on the crust situation I'd be happy to return, since the location is great, right in todos Santos plaza. My husband and I came by to try a few things from this cozy pizza spot and I must say, we left with full bellies and warm hearts. The owner and staff were really attentive, checking on us often. I saw the owner look over at the tables every chance he got to make sure everyone was happy. We got 3 pizzas, 12 pc wings, side of Meatballs, Shrimp fettuccine and tiramisu. We were offered a pistachio cake on the house! So sweet of them. We got thin Brooklyn style pizzas so that we don't get too full and can try more things on the menu. All the pizzas were delicious. My favorite were the classic Margherita and truffle pizza along with the meatballs that were made in house. The pizza came out hot, crispy and full of flavor. The pasta was really good also! Not only was the food amazing, everyone that worked there was super friendly smiling from the kitchen. They had like 6 TVs playing sports so you were able to watch World Cup. Very clean restaurant! My hubby ordered the pizza the sauce was delicious the crust was thin and flavorful the sausage was fresh ham had a good thickness to it. Came here recently after a Fest by a nearby brewery. It is in the same building where I used to multi different restaurants perviously i.e. Tower Grill and Parkside cafe. This is my 1st time going to this place now Italian theme. I had ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and a Pilsner. Wifey ordered a Chicken Caprese salad. My friends ordered a Burger and a Chicken Philly with fries. Owner seemed jovial and the food came out nice pretty quick. I liked the fries and the Philly sammie was alright. My family and I decided to have lunch here on Father's Day. We had such a wonderful experience! Their staff were so friendly and attentive. We had two children and they loved the kids Mac and cheese. You can tell their dishes are fresh and prepared to order. I ordered the Mango Avocado salad (add chicken) and it was incredible!! Everyone in our party loved their dishes. Went here on a Monday during the holiday for a late lunch (1:30pm) and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. I figured service would be on point as there was minimal people. We found ourselves having to flag the waitress down for stuff. The kids wanted to try truffle fries + the cheese balls. It wasn't quite what they expected. Potatoes were thick wedges vs the fries they expected. Truffle flavor was great. The cheese balls were good but more like a potato ball than a cheese ball. My wife and I tried this place out for lunch. She got the Philly, but in a wrap. It was great! No complaints. I got one of the thin crust pizzas, with bell peppers, sausage, etc... I've been here many times and I've never had a bad experience. This place is my go to Pizza and pasta spot! Also their burgers and especially their Philly Cheesesteak is to die for. Drink prices during happy hour can't be beat either! My friends and I go there at least 3x a week. Even more during the warm nights. It was my first time getting food here. I ordered a chicken caesar wrap to go. On the menu, the price for the chicken Caesar wrap is $16.95. The employee gave me a discount on it because they recently opened. My total for the wrap was $13.95. It also came with French fries but on the menu, it doesn't say that French fries are included so that was a nice bonus. My favorite part of my meal was the French fries. I wish the chicken Caesar wrap had more Caesar sauce. The ambiance was nice. It felt casual/romantic since there was flowers hanging from the ceiling. I would get the fries from here again. Food was great, service was really good, and the vibes were warm and welcoming within the restaurant with the owner chatting with multiple tables. We ordered the calamari, vodka chicken pizza on new york crust, and Napolina burger. It's silly but I always like getting a burger at pizza/italian places since I fell in love with the big burgers at Rainbow Pizza over in San Mateo as a kid. Napolina burger was really good with caramelized onions, love a good chicken pizza (not a lot of spots have vodka sauce as an option but it's great), and calamari had a nice corn meal coating and was a bit overcooked for my pref but still nice. We kept the garlic mayo to eat with the fries which was so good. Prices were surprisingly affordable too: $10 for the burger and fries, $11 for the calamari, and $23 for the pizza.
