I love Round Table Pizza. I honestly think they have the best pizza in Davis. The crust has that perfect balance where it is crispy on the outside but still soft and fluffy inside, and the cheese is super gooey without feeling greasy or heavy. You can tell they do not cut corners with ingredients. The sauce actually has flavor, the toppings are generous, and everything just tastes more fresh and well put together compared to other pizza spots around here. I am also someone who does not like an overly saucy pizza, and they do a really great job with the sauce to pizza ratio so it never feels overwhelming. It feels like a higher quality pizza overall, not just something quick and basic. I do think there are two things they could improve. First is the pricing. The pizza can get pretty expensive. I paid almost $60 for two decent pizzas, which is definitely on the higher side. Second is the lemon pepper wings. The seasoning was way too heavy and salty, to the point where they were not even edible, which was disappointing because I was really looking forward to them. What stood out though was how they handled the situation. When I called, they were understanding right away and did not try to argue or dismiss the issue. They apologized and made it clear they wanted to fix it, which I really appreciated. They made it feel like they genuinely cared about making things right, not just brushing me off, and that kind of customer service goes a long way. I have also heard about their weekday lunch specials and I am excited to try them. From what I have seen, they seem really well priced, especially getting a pizza and sides for around $15.99, which sounds like a great deal compared to their regular pricing. Even with the high prices, I cannot lie, I will probably keep spending that $60 because it is worth it every time. The quality, taste, and how they treat their customers keeps me coming back. Wow, I hadn't been to a Round Table in years because it had gotten so expensive. I had forgotten how good the pizza is. The cashier was super friendly and patient. There was a good variety of different table sizes and we sat at the round table for our party of 5. We could've fit at least 3 more people. The tables and chairs could've been cleaner. We ordered a small Italian Garlic Supreme, a medium pepperoni pizza and 12 buffalo wings. Everything was tasty. If we come up to Davis to visit our daughter again, I'd definitely come back here if we want pizza. read more

Yummy! I love coming to round table, something about their delicious chicken and garlic gourmet always hits the pizza spot for me!! I have come to this location several times since their opening and I will say that they are always welcoming and the staff keeps it professional. They have bigger tables for groups or big families as well as smaller tables if you're coming in solo. I think that's awesome since I have a fairly large family! They keep their bathrooms clean, which is such a plus. I'm a little weird on germs and so pay attention to the soda/ice machine for cleanliness and it's always clean! I have come for their lunch buffet a couple times and both times - they kept the pizzas refreshed and the salad bar stocked. I never had to ask if more is coming! The buffet also includes breadsticks and cinnabreads!! When I don't have time for the buffet, I usually place my order online and it's ready when I come in to pick it up. Veggies are always fresh and the crust on their pizza is just my favorite!! One more thing, if you're deciding to get the chocolate chip cookie or not, just get it!! Mmmm! SO delicious!! It's been awhile since I had Round Table, and saw Davis had a new location open in the plaza where Target is located. Large pepperoni, grilled chicken, and bacon pizza: B- This pizza was alright, taste good with the bacon. Don't really care for the green onion and tomato. I think the crust could be a bit fluffier/thicker. Mozzarella sticks: B- Mozzarella sticks are always my favorite shareable. Very stringy. Pros: 1. Food quality is great. I've ordered from here twice and the pizzas had a generous but appropriate amount of toppings, crust was good, etc. 2. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of food you're getting. Paid about $117.00 USD for 6 adults, two children, and enough left over for two more meals for abou two adults. 3. Store is clean and looks good. Lots of seating (but it's always full!) 4. Staff is very nice to deal with. Cons: 1. Wait time is a bit long. First time I went my receipt wasn't even printed out despite me paying and I had to wait over an hour for one pizza and two sides. 2. Learning pains? I also got a one out of my two pizza orders on my second visit wrong and I didn't notice until I had gotten back home. I called the staff and they made things right, but it was not ideal. 3. This Round Table has consistency good pizza, their customer service is also good and consistent and their location is clean. The other day we had a situation with one of their pizzas and their staff and Varun was very helpful. My spouse had a craving for the garlic chicken gourmet and when we arrived home, we realized it was missing the onions which she was really looking forward to. We called to double check if perhaps we had remembered wrongly and the store was very quick to let us know they will handle it and make us a new pizza. They had a new pizza all set and waiting for us when we reached. They were polite and very accountable, letting us know the mistake was on their end and that they were happy to help us. All in all we would recommend this pizza place to anyone who is looking for Pizza in the area, mostly for how the staff treats their guests and how much care and effort they show on a daily basis for their store. read more

I ordered for a 6:15 pickup at 1:00PM and they didn't even start the order until 6:20, 10 mins after I arrived. It finished around 6:40. I was going to buy a beer while I waited but they are $10 a pint, well above average. Overall cleanliness is barely passable with a film of dust on the salad bar. I think I have to pass going forward. Update: the food quality is as expected and no complaints on that front. I think the execution and customer service has plenty of room to improve. Wow after being an day one supporter of this new franchise I am flabbergasted by my recent experience. Solely through purchasing at this location I had earned enough reward points for a free medium 2 topping pizza but was having some issues redeeming it over the phone. The employee on the phone was polite and wanted to be helpful. We couldn't figure it out so I figured I'd come down and see if we could do it in person. The app presented a QR code and they still didn't have a way to scan the QR code so he asked me to wait for a manager. While waiting I discovered that if you place an order on the app the coupon was available there so I completed the order. DUring that time I guess someone called the owner and explained the issue to him. While I was resolving the issue on the app and employee comes up and wants to hand me his cell phone, Says the owner is on the phone. I said politely not right now, I think I have it figured it out. The phone is one speaker and the owner is screaming at I presume me. The employee then listens to the owner and says we won't be honoring the coupon. We are a franchise and we don't have to? YOu have a sign on your store front that indicates you have a loyalty program? I earned all the loyalty points through this location and now you won't honor it. The employee is incredibly dismissive and just says good bye basically requesting me to leave. wow wow wow.. . totally flabbergasted and yes I have written corporate but buyer beware, They don't appear to honor the loyalty rewards you earn by purchasing through them. lost a lifelong customer who was genuinely excited to support them. The service was good, you can tell the cashier is still new but he was sweet. The ambience was relaxed and very clean which, living in Vacaville was opposite so this surprised me. Well, I finally got a chance to try out the new Round Table here in Davis. For being fairly new and just opened up probably a week ago I have to say I was very impressed not only with the food, but also the service. My pizza was made just the way I wanted it. I asked for extra sauce on my pizza and yes, I got extra sauce. Finally a pizza restaurant that knows what extra sauce means. Good job Round Table . I also tried their new jalapeño poppers, and those were awesome. There's also a staff member I would like to recognize. He was very accommodating to all my needs and also I saw him checking back with all the customers in the dining room, which I rarely see these days. I think his name was Aidon. Food was okay seems as if they held back on putting enough toppings on the pizza (considering how expensive the pizza is ) will definitely be sticking with pizzaguys as the quality of the food is consistent and they don't hold out on the toppings .customer service was great . The interior of the restaurant was definitely different than most but in a good way.I ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza and a salas. Salad bar was clean and vegetables were fresh. The only issue with the salad bar was of the owner watching me serve myself the entire time I prepared my salad this was uncomfortable. The employees seem tense as they have the boss looking over their shoulder. About a week later I had decided to order takeout. I ordered a large combination a small Hawaiian six cinnamon twist, thick garlic twist when I asked the cashier if I could please have cheese and peppers. He gave me a premade bag that had a small container of ranch ,marinara sauce two packets of pepper, and two packs of cheese I asked for more cheese the owner was standing over his shoulder, the poor cashier seemed .hesitant to give me more he stood still for a couple seconds didn't say anything and I told him not to worry about it , as it was clear he was uncomfortable, giving me more cheese as the boss was standing over him. To the owner, your employees are excellent please stop hovering over them and let them do their job. You make the ambient tense and unwelcoming when you hover over your employees and stare down customers as they prepare their salad. read more
