I ordered on line and picked it up. When I inspected my pizza it had no pepperoni. When I ordered extra pepperoni. I waited for them to make me another one. I inspected my wings and they were not well done. They put them back in the oven. 15 minutes later they gave me my pizza and wings. Got to my house and was so anxious to eat since I hadn't eaten anything all day. I opened the box and they messed up again by adding sausage. So upset at this point. Called the store and spoke to Jennifer and explained to her what happened. She stated my ticket did not say no sausage. So she basically called me a liar. Why would I ask for sausage when I'm allergic. She didn't even give me the benefit of the doubt. I did yell at her after that point because I was upset and she told me to call tomorrow to speak to the owner and hung up on me. Oh she said she was trying to help me. At what point did that happen in our conversation. Anyways horrible customer service. It's not that difficult to make a pizza! They messed up once ok it happens but twice and then said I was lying. OUTSTANDING PIZZA! we moved from the Santee area. Round table there was good. My hubby got take out from the Rancho San Diego location as we live closer to this one now. Had to call in an order for a birthday because the online ordering was not working. The person that answered the phone who sounded like the owner was extremely rude, was very impatient, would not let me finish telling him my order, made a racist remark and told me he was busy. I will never order from this location ever again. I ended up telling him never mind and called the La Mesa Blvd location. Wow, what a difference. The person who took the phone order was very cordial and when I came in to pick up my order what seemed like the owner was also extremely nice and offered my granddaughter and I a drink on the house. When I said wow, thank you, he responded with "No, thank you!". I had ordered several pizzas, and a few other food items for a birthday and he appreciated it. This place is very clean there's always food in the buffet area. It was not dirty The buffet area is always clean there's and full of food in there. They have a great selection of pizza, with great prices in my mind. They have a wonderful staff and they are nice and kind. The place has clean tables and the atmosphere is very warm and welcome. My boyfriend and I went to eat at this location only once. We showed up in the morning/lunch hour to get buffet pizza. They didn't have much selection... I believe it was because the older gentlemen customers that were there at that time were regulars (staff knew them by name) and they were all pretty much eating the same pizza with the the same toppings.. so there wasn't a need to bring out other varieties. however, it would have been nice if the staff would have done so once we got there. Not gonna lie this Has to be my worst experience I've ever had with Round Table. This is actually one of my favorite pizza places ever. Today being my special day I really wanted pizza. I ordered the Italian pizza with garlic and I had no problem ordering it. The person who took my order I think he was middle eastern decent was really sweet and awesome. He confirmed everything over the phone with me including my name my address and even my gate code. I was told I would have a 30 to 40 minute wait. about an hour and 10 minutes pass by and we did not receive our pizza. I called the location talk to somebody and they said oh we think that we're looking at it right now which I thought was crazy because it was supposed to already have been here but whatever the manager gets on the phone and says hey we already delivered your pizza. We did not in fact get our pizza and we have been waiting for our pizza. They contacted the delivery driver and said that he had delivered it to number nine. Then he corrected himself and said he delivered it to the letter I. But in my complex there is five other letter I units. The guy basically told me that we were not able to get a refund and that he was not going to make another one after fighting and being called a liar constantly. He said well I'll tell what if we GOTO deliver this pizza and it's the same house u aren't getting this pizza. That is really disrespectful and he even hung up on us. He (Jon or Josh) I forget the name claims we were disrespectful but we just hard a stir tone because he claimed we were Liars and told us we had to pay for another pizza. I can't believe we went through this. Cool he was tryin to protect the business but there is other ways to communicate with us. We hate to be those people as General Managers too. Had a quick lunch here with some friends. We all had the lunch buffet which included a salad bar and 4 different kinds of pizza. The salad bar looked fresh and well stoked. The pizza was good, I had the pepperoni and sausage. The also had Hawaiian, the works, cheese, and pepperoni. The crust was thicker than I would like but it was good. The sauce was average. One thing that they should do is remember to wipe the salt a pepper shakers because they were kind of slimy. I had 5 slices of pizza, two salad servings, and refilled my ice twice for $7.99. Round Table Pizza has always been a favorite of mine, but with the total absence of Toppers in San Diego, RTP has become essential. This particular location is always mellow and easy to get in and out of. They now offer a monthly discount coupon via text message. $5 off a large pizza is pretty nice, guys! We got a large pepperoni and an Arrogant Bastard for $16. Obama says: Not bad. They also have a small, yet very decent tap selection. Coronado Brewing, Sierra Nevada, and of course Stone. I think there was also some shitty water beer (read: Bud, MGD) on tap, but I can't remember now. Our pizza came out quickly and was obviously delicious. My only complaint is that they may have a few too many high schoolers working there. It was all fun and games in the back with no one watching the front while three of us lined up waiting for someone to help us. And those young bros saw us too, they just decided to ignore us. They instead decided to joke around with each other and flirt with the two young girls also working there. After a few minutes of three people standing at the register and being completely ignored, one of the jerk employees finally yelled "Get the front!" as they noticed another employee -- probably a supervisor or lead -- coming back from lunch. She literally still had her lunch in her hand as she walked up. She was at least on-the-ball enough to immediately help the three of us (none of us together) with what we needed. Come on, kids. Excellent customer service! My wife and I ordered a ham sandwich at 8:15 pm on a Sunday (closing time is 9pm). I imagined the crew would not be happy to see us right before they close shop, especially for the fact that we were ordering a sandwich at a pizza place. We had been waiting about 15 min when the manager came up and asked us how our night was and if we were waiting for our pizza. We told him we ordered a sandwich and his left to check on its progress. The manager discovered that the crew had prepared the wrong sandwich (turkey not ham), the crew member came out and gave us the turkey sandwich (for free), apologized for the mistake and then returned to make the proper sandwich. They also threw in two bags of chips. Then after getting two sandwiches and chips for the price of one and more apologies then were necessary, the manager came out to check on us again. This Roundtable restaurant exceeded my expectation, especially near closing time on a Sunday night! We will definitely return to this roundtable, they value their customers and care about delivering a quality product! read more

I only come here for the pizza and games for the kids. Tonight I ordered the chicken pasta dish.....wasn't half bad for Round Table. I've had much worse at far better places. Pizza was just as good as always. The salad bar was a pleasant surprise as everything was fresh and cold with a lot of variety, not wilted, soggy and practically non existent like the Santee location. The customer service here was pretty great. Especially with 6 screaming kids playing games (not all mine!!). I've always loved RT pizza, but I'm leaving this review because this location has always provided us with excellent service. Whenever they are slow they've offered us a free beverage while waiting, and if they ever mess up the pizza they've offered us the extra one while making a new one. An apology would suffice but they make the effort to provide great service, and I appreciate it. The food is great too! I can count on a perfect pizza every time. Something we all take for granted, but after trying the other location on campo road a few times and getting pizza that is either burnt or undercooked, I appreciate when it's done well and I don't have to make any requests along the lines of "please don't deliver burnt pizza." I wish I could get delivery service from this location to my home instead instead of the other. My husband and I went for lunch. We chose the buffet starting by building a delicious salad. Everything was super fresh and the entire restaurant was spotlessly clean. Then we ate some of the best pizza I've had in awhile! Every pizza was delicious. Just when I was slowing down a little, Joe-Joe came to our table and asked me what my favorite pizza was and my husband and I both told him. My husband and I just moved into the neighborhood. We happened to be scouting out the neighborhood on a Saturday afternoon and thought...why not have some pizza. We walked into this location as Round Table newbies. After looking at the menu we had our eye on the Chicken and Garlic Gourmet XL (which was also recommended by the gentleman at the counter). I wish I could remember his name but the gentleman at counter also hooked us up with a box of Garlic Parm Twist and told us we would definitely return just based off those. He didn't steer us in the wrong direction at all. The pizza was amazing and so was the twists. We're actually going to place another order tonight. I recently bought your $20 for $25 deal, and I am very unhappy with the results of my purchase. I received the email a few hours after I purchased the deal, and decided to go use it right then. So my boyfriend and I drove down, and after ordering and letting the girl know that I had a coupon from yelp she seemed very confused. She called the manager over for help, and he didn't know about the deal as well. In the end, they took $5 off our total and left it at that. Well much to my dismay I check my bank acct this evening to find that I've been charged $20 for the deal. The pizza is great. Its been my favorite pizza since I was a kid. That said, I have been going to this location since I was a kid. Multiple birthday parties, AYSO parties, CAPS league, my whole family has come to this round table. Somewhere in the last few years they have fell off at this location. Notice all the other SD location get a 4 star review except this one? Sunday night, 3/6, I called for delivery. I had an odd request. I would pay ahead for the pizza with my card and they set it on my front porch. I wouldn't have been home in time but was craving RTP. The girl that answered immediate response was "I cant do that. Its against the rules and its my ass not your ass." Wow, very professional and great language!! So, I asked to talk to the "Manager." I use quotations because I am a regional manager in sales and I hire managers for customer service and I would never hire anyone at this location. Anyway, while waiting on "hold" for the manager the little potty mouth girl says to the manager while laughing and mocking me "He wants us to deliver it without him here, haha, I said its my ass not your ass buddy, what does he think this is, haha" they all laugh and then the manager gets on the phone. I let the manager know that the genius smart ass girl actually didn't leave me on hold and I heard everything. I made my request again. She denied. I asked for the owners or another managers number, she refused. I asked her what is wrong with her as a a manager and why her and her crew were so unprofessional and she responded "I dont need to listen to you talk shit to me" and hung up Its not "talking shit" amateur hour, its conducting yourself professionally. DO NOT DO A FUNDRAISER HERE!!!! Our school decided to have a fundraiser here in November. We brought in a lot of business, which was stated by several employees that they had not been that busy in a long time. One of our Parents' Club members was called by someone claiming to be the owner and told her our check was ready and that we did really well. My member went to pick up the check, the gentleman who called was there and my member stated she had just gotten off the phone with him, he played dumb and said it wasn't him. Gave her the check and told her we did really well, but he could only give us $160 of our $400 profit, that the rest would be sent in the mail. He gave her a printout of all our transactions that were from our school. Right off the back, several transactions are missing, parents had sent me pictures of their receipts all night so I would know what should be there. About half were missing. My member tried calling, the owner wasn't available, go in wasn't available. We have waited now for several months for the rest of our fundraising money. The owner is never there, yet it can be the same guy that called her answering and he plays dumb as soon as she says who she is with. Don't fundraise they will rip you off and just use you to get business for that time. SO disappointed. read more

I'm super mad about this. We were promised a pick up time of our order for 6:45pm. We arrived and they hadn't even made the order yet. It is more than 30 minutes later (7:18pm currently) and we still don't have our pizza. We ordered because we just got back from vacation, picked up our dog and wanted something convenient on the way home. I've been dealing with a whining dog in the car for over 30 min while my husband has been sitting inside waiting for our order and no offer of a drink, coupon or apology from the girl at the register. She was completely unapologetic. Again, if a manager actually cares about this you can look at your schedule for today at the above times. We won't be coming back ever unless someone contacts us to rectify the horrible service. What i liked today when I went was that the man who rang me up was smiling nice pleasant . Gave my son a little bag with crayons and stickers so he would be entertained and I ordered a medium pizza not a kids meal he didnt have to do that . I thought it was nice . Other then that my pizza is always delicious . what I was impressed with is that this man came to my table and asked how my pizza was , he then went over to every other table said hi and asked people how the food was .
