We had a pretty great experience on a Sunday night here. They were busy, but food didn't take too long to come out. The cashier was super nice and the food was amazing. We were really impressed. I would trust this place for pizza. The pasta is questionable. I got the short rib rigatoni. I expected pasta with a good sauce and the short rib instead I got what appears to be beef stew with rigatoni pasta. The short rib is tender tho, I will give them that. read more

This was a total disaster. I came to the casino just to order pizza. I paid $14 for two slices and it literally took 39 minutes to get them. Roberto was very nice, but Tyler (the manager) at first seemed like he wanted to give me attitude about why the pizza wasn't ready. What makes it worse is there were about 20 employees working at the time, and still, service was that slow. The pizza was already premade--all they had to do was run it through the oven--yet when I finally got my slices, they were cold. To top it off, when I tried to take a picture of the pizzas and the line for reference, Tyler told me I couldn't record or take photos. Meanwhile, customers were frustrated, waiting, and being ignored. They take your money, then put you to the side and forget about you. The tables were dirty too, which only added to the bad experience. Tyler only mellowed out once I mentioned I'd be writing a review. In the end, he was polite, but only because of that. Honestly, I would not recommend coming here for pizza or anything from that deli. It was a waste of time, a waste of money, and a horrible experience--especially at such a large casino. We were playing at the machines nearby so when we decided to get dinner we walked over to look at the menu. They have a lot of options! Sandwiches, Pizza, Desserts, Sides and more. I ordered a Clubhouse Sandwich on Sourdough with a side of Pasta Salad. Hubs ordered a Pastrami and Swiss on Rye and a Slice of Pizza. I don't remember what type of Pizza but it had a lot of toppings. It was all very good. Sandwiches are pretty big so we each only ate half. It was nice to have leftovers. Staff was very nice. It's hard for me to hear sometimes because of background noise. The young lady who took our order was patient and helpful. It didn't seem to take long to get our food. Prices were reasonable and if you're a Club Sycuan Member you get a discount and can also use your points to pay. There are some long tables so you'll probably be sitting with strangers. That's ok, we're here to have fun so the more the merrier. read more

Wow, I am impressed by this place. I got here right when it opened and everything was just being put out. These slices are huuuge and well worth the 7-8 dollars they are charging. I got the 4 cheese slice for $7 and they heated it up for me and enjoyed it with my Shock Top from the casino. The slice was obviously fresh and very fresh. The dough tasted like it was freshly made. I ordered the short rib rigatoni pasta & the truffle mushroom pizza. Let me just say 10/10 on the pizza....but honeeeeeey that pasta wasn't worth a dime. Very bland flavor, and it definitely wasn't short rib. I'm a chef so I know good and well that more of a chuck roast. It gave pot roast on rigatoni. I'm not even mad because I used my comp, but had I paid cash I definitely would've asked for something else. Overall service was great; the lady (Myoshi?) that took my order was great, when asked about the size of portions they were able to give me the right info. This is my 3rd time eating here and 3 strikes, you're out. The only reason I kept trying it was because it's one of the cheaper places to eat in the casino near one of my favorite slot machines. The first time I had a special that came with fish, shrimp, calamari, and fries. It was decent taste wise but everything was greasy and soggy from the grease. Then the second time I ordered a slice of pizza and some calamari, and it too was greasy and mostly crumbs from the calamari breading instead of the actual calamari itself. This last time I had a slice of pizza, and it wasn't quite hot like fresh baked pizza would be because all they do is pre-make it and then send it through the oven to warm it up. read more

I was elated to read about chef inspired sandos, salads and pizza. This was not the case; the pizza was plain and not worth the $8 per slice. The corned beef sando was so salty, I was so disappointed. It wasn't deli style but a point cut shredded style. Run don't walk for this. You'll thank me later. The Deli's ribeye panini is done right. The chimchirri gives it enough kick but not overwhelming while the pesto avocado spread balances the sandwich. This place is a great addition to the casino food choices. My favorite is the chicken pesto sandwich and I love that you can order a slice of pizza or a whole pie and it's conveniently located in the non-smoking area of the casino.
