Just driving by and my wife and I were hungry so we stopped for a slice. The deals were so good we ended up getting a 14inch pizza. The owner AJ super cool dude very friendly. The place is under new management and you can tell the place has a different vibe than the past reviews. The pizza was 10/10 service 10/10 place 10/10 reminds me of New York Pizzerias. Definitely coming back Also have awesome desserts. Baklava is traditional and delicious. Haven't found good baklava in San Diego this is the best spot.

This place could have gotten more stars out of me but unfortunately I had an experience last night that forced me to have to write a not so good review. But this review isn't about the pizza. It's about being misled with the garlic bread. I was pleasantly happy with an order of regular garlic bread that I had ordered a couple weeks ago. Definitely a good amount of bread for the price. It was a loaf of French bread, restaurant style. And with that I wanted to try the garlic bread w/ cheese. So last night along with my pizza order I placed an order of the garlic bread with cheese as well. But I definitely didn't get the same bread. What I got instead was two (2) slices of white sandwich bread with garlic butter and topped with cheese. (WTH!) This is definitely not right. Sandwich bread isn't the same as a loaf of French bread. Smh.

So I ordered at pizza roughly at 830, expected my pizza to arrive at 929, i wait till 950, it never showed up so I called grub hub and they called giant pizza king to try to see what was going on with my order, they pizza king never picked up their phone so they refunded my money. Pizza king calls me and try's to accuse me of receiving the pizza. And said my son said it was my dads pizza and to bring it to the back. Uh I don't have a son, and I don't live with my dad. I tried to tell the guy look this is my address and explained what my house looked like. But nope he just insisted I was a liar. Welp they lost money and I went on hungry. Lose/lose situation. I'm actually outside pizza king at jacknbox now cause I never got my pizza and I'm hungry.

Brown lettuce, mushy tomatoes and hair

Yuck! We had a big order of two pizzas, two types of wings and a large Greek salad. Order arrived promptly. Pizza was tasty. The wings are gross. We ordered garlic parmesan , bad move. They were crusted with that fake lemon pepper seasoning, not edible, no garlic or parmesan in sight. The worst part was the salad. The tomatoes were so old, they looked like the skin had been boiled, peep the pic, brown lettuce and to top it all a hair from a worker (none of us have brown hair). Not going back and praying my stomach is okay tomorrow.

After a few more months of coming here I have noticed that the quality of the pizza is still top notch. Even more importantly the people here are kind and generous beyond belief. I will keep coming even after I leave lemon grove.

I'm so glad we got a Giant Pizza King right here in my neighborhood. They are already busy with customers flocking to them. They just opened not long ago too. I love their meal deals, philly cheese steak combo comes with fries, salad and a drink. Make sure to call in your order because they are busy, food may take up to 30 mins. But worth the wait.

The wings were a really good size--not tiny--and cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The buffalo sauce had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming, so you can actually enjoy the flavor instead of just burning your mouth off. The fries were also solid--crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy. You can tell they actually care about how their food comes out, not just throwing stuff together. I also tried their ranch, and it was really good (definitely needed more though, they don't give a ton ). The service was quick and smooth. Staff seemed chill and didn't take long to get the order out, even though it was a bit busy when I went. The place itself had a relaxed, casual vibe--good for just hanging out or grabbing food with friends. Only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is because I wish the portion of sides/sauces was a little bigger, especially for the price. But overall, the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. If you're looking for a reliable wing spot with good flavor and consistent quality, Epic Wings is 100% worth checking out. I'll definitely be coming ba

There were two customers when we entered and a family of four arrived after we began to eat. The restaurant is immaculately clean and the staff are welcoming and attentive. I mean, this place is literally spotless. We ordered a Halal Majesty double burger with fries and a Coke, 6 mango habanero wings, and a steak Philly cheesesteak. It took about 10 minutes to receive our food, but it was cooked to order so the small wait was totally fine. My godson loved his burger, giving it an 8.5/10, and stating that it was "a not h above In-N-Out." The mango habanero wings were pretty tasty that I had. They were juicy, the sauce was recognizably both mango and habanero, and were decent-sized. The only reason I'm giving this place 4/5 stars and not 5/5 is due to the steak Philly cheesesteak. It was the weak-link of the meal. For some reason it just didn't have much flavor and there were a few too many fatty steak pieces in it. The roll was also disappointing. I think that most of the rest of the menu is truly solid. Overall, a great option for fast-food/bar food that issues high-quality ingredients, is made-to-order, and offers a difference you can taste. Weak link is the cheesesteak. Otherwise, highly recommend it.

The staff was very gracious in the face of the huge crowd and a mountain of orders. The location is spacious with plenty of room to line up and tables to sit and eat or wait on orders. The parking was easy too which was a bonus. For food we got two orders of the big greedy with yams, greens, baked beans and the new mushroom rice. I will stress that everything was excellent and we would get this exact order again, but a few particular standouts were 1) Fried Catfish. Our favorite protein by far. It was deliciously seasoned, perfectly fried, and succulently tender, 2) Candied Yams. They were sweet, tender and nicely balanced, 3) Mushroom Parmesan Rice. We only tried this because so many of the other sides were sold out and man are we glad we did. Our family tore this side up! The mushroom parm gravy was smooth and creamy with large chunks of mushroom. Definitely a great addition to the sides list. Our family can't wait to go back and try more of what CBB has to offer. So glad they've got a brick and mortar restaurant now!

TL;DR It's really good. Go here…read more -------------- I came here after a friend recommended it when I told them I was coming down to San Diego for a day trip during my spring break from school in Orange County. I was born and raised in LA, so I've had a lot of Chinese food growing up, and I wasn't expecting to be this surprised--but I really was. I ordered the black bean eggplant and the salt and pepper chicken wings. The wings are what they're known for, but I have to start with the eggplant because it completely caught me off guard. It wasn't mushy at all--crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and coated in sauce without losing its texture. Every bite had depth and balance, not just saltiness. I actually meant to start with the wings, but the eggplant was so good I ended up eating half of it before even getting to them. By that point I was already getting full, but I still made sure to finish the wings--and I'm honestly excited to take the rest of the eggplant home as leftovers. By the time I got to the wings, I understood why they're popular--crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying--but what stood out to me was how both dishes complemented each other. One rich and layered, the other crisp and bright. I never got tired of eating, which honestly says a lot. I even told the staff how much I enjoyed the food and they thought I was joking, but I meant every word in saying I thought it was comparable, if not better then the food I've had in Chinatown in LA. Really glad I came here and the next time I have a chance to come back down to SD I definitely will come back here and that's not negotiable for me

Everyone enjoyed what they got; Their Pad Thai tastes fresh, which IMO, is rare bc most places I've been to just mix the rice noodles with the usual tamarind/orange sauce. Even my cousin noted that and she's part Thai. As for the mango sticky rice, they were generous with mango servings, which I'm grateful for. Aside from the food, the interior is welcoming and fun to experience inside. Definitely delivers with the local mom n pop feels. Can't wait to try more options!
