I really love the pizza and the staff, but I've been going here since I was a young man and I believe they've remodeled the place twice since then... except the bathrooms. It is disgusting. Homes in Hercules are selling on average for 1/2 a million dollars, and its round table, so you know you'll drop at least $40 here... and you have to go to the restroom in what reminds me of a truck stop gas station bathroom on I-5??? Gross, not maintained well at all, it's nasty, management needs to drop the cash to renovate and then pay someone to keep it up well. I often order here and have no issue. That ended today. We ordered two LARGE pizzas. One was the King Arthur the other was half chicken Maui and half pepperoni Maui. I got home 30 mins after picking up the pizza and realized that the pineapples were missing! So I called them... I told Alexis that we were missing the pineapples and would like a new one. I'd be happy to bring the old one back because we don't want it. She stated she can offer me $5 off an xlarge or they can make me a SMALL pizza for free. WHAT THE ?! So I said no. I believe the cashier's name was Julissa and she failed to understand the five star reward deals that I had, which was really quite straight forward. I just wanted to check how many points I accumulated to see what deals I could use, so I really couldn't order without being sure. This is the Round Table I grew up with. I remember when Creekside first opened and this was one of the first restaurants to serve. There also used to be a Dentist next door and an Animal Clinic, which I believe are no longer there. The pizza here never disappoints, although the prices are getting on the pricey end. Very disappointed, customer service was not up to a normal round table standards. Ordered pizza online for pickup, with a pickup time. I paid when I came in, and took a seat. After 20mins passed from original pickup time, I asked the staff about my order. The staff here forgot my order, and when I asked to speak with a manager I was ignored. I ordered a medium cheese only pizza and a large drink to go at around Table in Hercules. They charged me $24.49. The pizza was $18 and some change by itself for a simple cheese pizza. Usually we have a pleasant experience at this Round Table. Customer service in the past has been fine but on the evening of April 8th, everything was horrible! Placed the order online and was told the order would be ready at 8:19 pm. My husband left at 8:10 and sure enought when he got there the order wasn't ready. The wings were being cooked but whoever was working on them didn't notice that they were going to fall off the conveyer belt. Instead of sweeping them up and getting another order ready, she just keeps going on proceeds to forget the wings. No one says anything until my husband mentions something and by this time our pizza and breadsticks were cold. So they have to completely make the order over again and long story short, he gets home at 9:20. No manager came by to apologize for the inconvinience or anything. What kind of customer service are you providing? Letting food just fall on the floor and not doing anything about it. I send emails on the Round Table website twice now and so far no response. I see now that they truly don't care about customer feedback and don't mind wasting people's time. read more

Ordered online and had to give pertinent information prior to submitting the order including my address and credit card. The webpage asked whether I want delivery or take out and I indicated take out. Once I arrived at the restaurant I was asked for my driver's license and the credit card for a $11.98 order. Really? I could have walked in and ordered if I wanted to wait for the order and would have provided license and credit card. I could have called in and ordered and would have had no issues with providing credit card and identification. But answering the information online and STILL being required to show information at the restaurant is too much. The online order is supposed to be for the customer's experience. They can count on me taking my business to any pizza joint other than Round Table in any location. BTW, their pizza at this location is too greasy and the crust too hard (that's why I don't order pizza, only wings). read more

Wow, Round Table Pizza is the only reason I look forward to visiting my brother in Hercules. Their pizza is THEE BEST PERIOD. The Hercules location even has some arcade games in the back and a party room that you can reserve. Delivery as far as I can tell (only ordered for delivery once) was decently quick and the pizza was almost as hot as dine in. 2 problems. The driver who said his name was Steve forgot ranch but kindly returned in a timely manner with it. He even insisted I didn't have to tip because he made a mistake. EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM DELIVERY Sometimes when it's busy I find that the pizza can be inconsistenly cooked. Often time more undercooked. For this reason I'm giving this store 4 stars. read more

The Last Honest PIZZA -NOT! Our Pizza was missing the garlic white sauce. JOE (WHAT A JOKE) LOPEZ -the manager insisted it was there. I ordered the promotional Pepperoni Parmesano, extra large! I picked it up in twenty (20) minutes, as advised. When I got home and opened the box I noticed the crust around the edge was burned black! I couldn't very well get in my car and take it back (which is what I should have done) so I cut the edges off! This, unfortunately didn't help as the pizza was very, very dry! So disappointing! Today, I came to dine in with my family and over heard a conversation between a Caucasian man (I'm assuming he is a new owner) and Theresa, who is one of the cashiers that I love to see every time I come here. I have been coming to this Round Table for many years and loved this location, but what I herd to day, changed my perspective of coming here again. The Blue shirt man was explaining that a new manager name Bernadet, who is coming to work at Hercules to be someone's replacement ( I couldn't get the name) but Theresa asked "is Bernadet as nice as Ali?" and by my surprise, the blue shirt man said, "Bernadet is nicer than Ali, You will like her a lot" or "You'll like her better than Ali". Now Ali was the manager that helped me and my family to order and she is a really pleasant woman to talk to and who I truly respect a lot. I do not know if this is true, but no one should talk ill about their managers to other employees because that is how trouble starts at work. I would not think this man is an owner because a real owner would applaud their managers customer service and not state ill remarks behind their backs, and what makes this situation more wrong is that Ali was working tonight while the blue shirt man was stating these remarks to Theresa. I do not know if this is a owner or manager, but this man is profoundly un-professional and wrong to talk about ill remarks about his employees to others. To the Blue Shirt man: I do not know who you are, but you should get to know your employees more than just talk ill behind their back to other employees. What are you a 16 year old gossiping queen? I usually come here all the time but this time I decided to call in for delivery and when they delivered the pizza it looks like they just warmed up pizza from last night. They are STINGY with their marinara sauce...as if they will die just giving you some upon request. Many times upon pick up, they tell you it's in the bag, you go home and there's none. Worst experience with this RT location ever. I decided to call in an order as I was walking to work because I realized that I hadn't eaten anything. I ordered a chicken grilled sandwich, the girl told me it would take 15 minutes. I finally reached RT and paid for my order just to be told that there was still 12 minutes left when it shouldve been way less because I timed it. So I just paid and left to work which is right across the street because I didn't want to be late. I was going to run back after the 12 minutes bc it's really just accross the street but my manager wasn't in a good mood so I couldn't. My co-worker told me to call them and ask them to deliver it to my job bc they do deliver after all, atleast they say they do. So I called, got put on hold 3 times all with a different person picking up and asking what I wanted to order which was frustrating bc i had to explain 3 times what happened if they could deliver. I think they were hoping I would hang up. Finally the girl told me that they couldn't because they were too busy and i said it was just across the street. She still said no and asked if i would like to speak to the manager, I said yes and then hung up because the manager was obviously going to make up a poor excuse. I was just upset that my meal was already paid for and they couldn't deliver it across the damn street, like seriously? Anyway my other manager overheard the phone call and told me she would go pick it up for me. When she came back she told me they were all just standing around and were not busy at all. My fiancé and I were heading up to Tahoe for the weekend and decided to stop at this Round Table on the way. It was around 11:45 am when we arrived, they opened at 11:00 am, the restaurant was completely empty. We ordered a medium pizza for dine-in and one drink which we planned to share. The person who took my order offered us two cups, which was nice. So, we're waiting and waiting for our order. I checked my watch and the time stamp on the receipt and we had been waiting for 30 minutes. So I went to the counter to ask about our order and I was told by someone else (not the person who took my order) that she had called my number. And I was like what, we ordered it for here?? So again, she was like oh, when I called the number and no one picked it up I put it in the warmer. Mind you, the girl who took my order was standing there listening. She knew we ordered for here and she knew we were waiting. Again, we were the only people in the restaurant! How do you one, not read the order that clearly stated "dine-in" and then second, after you see the pizza sitting for over 10 minutes not check with the only people in the restaurant who are sitting obviously not eating. Then, when they finally bring our pizza to our table, it's over cooked. The crust was burnt and the meat was scorched. They offered to make another one but we had already waited for 30 minutes and we were hungry. Anyway, mistakes are understandable but clearly no one there was using their brains nor thinking of the customer. A little bit of thinking or at the least a little bit of customer service would have prevented this from happening. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

I'll give RT in Hercules 4 stars - the pizza is good. Mainly purchased for delivery - every so often we'll dine in. We've been enjoying this pizza for over 15 years? A long time, anyway. No complaints - my orders of a well done, crispy pizza are just about always granted. Our family favorites vary - mine is the Chicken Garlic Gourmet :) Twisters are good, buffalo wings and salads as well. read more
