My friend wanted to stop here after the pumpkin patch. The food is great. First you order your food at the counter and after you order you can find a table. We got the supreme pizza. Love that we have a Roundtable in Kailua. It is a nice, casual spot for pizza, bear, and some bar food. Service is friendly and quick. I appreciate that the TVs in the bar area are muted, so you can actually have a conversation. We always get the King Arthur pizza and we have never been disappointed which really speaks to their consistency. Toppings abound and the bottom is nice and crispy - a perfect pie all around. The wings are some of the best I've had on the island: meaty and great Buffalo flavor. My partner loves the Garlic Parmesan Twists. Every time, I try to talk him out of getting them but they are just too good to skip over. The only criticism I have is that they no longer give discounts for veterans, only for active duty. It would be really a strong sign from this all-American chain if they didn't exclude our veteran community from military discount which has never happened in all those years we have frequented Round Table. We have been going to RTP for years but recently the management has been going downhill. I can understand raising prices but they even started to limit the senior discounts to weekdays. They didn't even want to honor the old senior coupons that have no expiration date. Second, their parmesan garlic bread sticks have gotten so small, even as they raised prices. It's too bad because the pizza is really good usually, despite the change in crust being thinner nowadays. For the price, I expect the workers to at least smile, seat us and take our order rather than just making us order at the front. We went in last during a time it was so slow, between lunch and dinner, with 4 workers and never got checked on once. No refill offers. The booths were dirty. The bathrooms were dirty. Walls dingy. The pizza's good. Really good. We watched them making dough. Pass after pass through the machine then cutting and shaping with that crunchy cornmeal bottom. The mozzarella is mild and bouncy. The tomato sauce bright and fresh, and the vegetables still had their crunch. You want to eat there so you can tuck in while the pizza is piping hot. That first bite is the best! Clean location with the exception of the "party room" as it was partially used for storage. The bad - 1. Incorrect order, but that was corrected by the cashier immediately 2. Partially burnt one of three pizzas. By this time, I was actually over it and just didn't say anything. The Ugly- 1. Being forced to leave a 20% tip on a larger party. Tips are earned and not just given. 2. Getting charged the tip, not on the subtotal but after tax. Yep, only some change, but it's the principal of the matter. 3. Sat in the "party room," which I now call the "Oh someone there room?" 4. Don't feel like the $34 mandatory tip was earned. 5. Round table first timers!!! Always wanted to have a nice, fun dinner with family here at Round Table Kailua, in Enchanted Lake center. Plenty of parking, no reservations. Walked in for our party of 7, and the first thing the guy said was, for parties of 7 or more we automatically add 20% gratuity. I'm like "okay that's fine" doesn't bother me, that's our normal tipping percentage and could've been more if you let me tip on my own without telling me, but that's fine. That's part of the reason why missing a star. Another reason why is cuz gotta walk to the counter to order. Lol normally when you dine in, they come to you take your order. I mean, yes, there was a clear sign on the wall that said, "please order at counter"... oh yah, and we got seated in the extended party room, which was cool because plenty space, but it smelled mildewy and moldy in there, and looked like storage small kine, but thankful and grateful. Was asking my family if they wanted to move inside to a booth, but they said nah. They also have a cool small arcade, fun for everyone, plus a bar!!! But the game area only take cash. I only had card so, so sad, we never get to play games. Nonetheless, family had a great time, fun conversations, fun food. There's 4 different size of the pizzas, personal (4 pizza), small (6), medium (8), and large (12). Can also split your pizzas, so we ordered 2 mediums, 1 with 1/2 Hawaiian, 1/2 pepperoni, the other with 1/2 King Arthur, 1/2 Italian garlic pizza. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan twists, wings.. omg their boneless plain chicken is literally like nuggets, but our non pizza family liked it. We ordered a bunch of other little stuff. Tried there pizzatatoe spinach mushroom, ahh was mehhh to me, but the wife liked it. Sodas was free refill. We ordered cinnamon twists, but for some reason, they never have the white glaze for cinnamon twists. I never ask why, but that is also part of the reason why missing another star. Had to take most of it home to reheat it. Also the two younger workers in the front need training on customer service, I felt like he didn't even care to be there, spoke so soft was hard to hear and he needs to learn the basics, like even saying "hi." Hard to believe, but this was the first time I've ever been to a Round Table Pizza. Located in a small shopping center where there's ample parking. I was able to find a stall right in front. It gets a little busy. Went with a bunch of people and ordered Caesar salad, chicken wings, and several different pizzas. My favorite was the King Arthur Supreme. It has classic red sauce, pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, Portuguese sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, yellow onions and black olives. Besides the annoying "going home traffic", the delicious fragrance of freshly baked pizza was torturing me in my car! I was delivering a Large pizza to my niece and her family for her birthday. I chose Round Table Pizza for this assignment because I saw my friend, Craig Y. from Torrance, California, check in at Round Table. He said that his pizza was good - especially the crust, so, I had that thought lingering in my brain. I had been to this Enchanted Lakes location in Kailua a long time ago. I can't remember why we were in Kailua, but it sure beats Waikiki where there are two Round Table restaurants and challenging parking. Here at Enchanted Lakes Shopping Center, parking is free and shared with businesses such as McDonald's, Safeway, and Ben Franklin Crafts. Service is ok... Nothing outstanding. It's just business... Lol... Efficient and no frills. I had ordered on the phone and they did give me my total including the $3 discount for a Large pizza with check in on the Yelp app... Yay!!! It's been a while since we have been here. My wife has such fond memories of RTP as a kid so we tried again. The crust was very poor. Like it didn't rise and was just tough and chewy, like cardboard. The toppings were very good but the crust was awful. We decided to scrape the toppings off and put on sandwich bread.
