Great staff and delicious pizza! Bring your own peppers! 5 stars hands down the best pizza in Kailua. Call your order in advance.

So happy to see another great pizza place in Kailua! As someone who lived in NYC, I'm always looking for good pizza places and Nomadic did not disappoint. The sour dough crust was super yummy and all the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The piña colada slush was refreshing and flavor-packed and the Cesar salad was so good! We'll definitely be frequent customers. We went on opening day and the service was fabulous. The owner came by to chat and all the staff were so nice and welcoming. We ate inside and it had a cozy, homey vibe. A must try when you're on the East Side!

Ok- So as a food enthusiast I was scrolling thru my Instagram and came across a reel showcasing this place. So I figured why not venture from Pearl City to Kailua with my ohana and check it out. 1st off we got here after 1pm so they do not serve waffles after 1pm. They are closed on Sundays, parking is behind the business, with some street parking. When my ohana and I walked in, atmosphere was nice and simple, offering small tables and some outside seating as well. Everything made is sourdough based, the pizzas aren't too big, I would say for keiki ages 7 and under they could easily share one pizza. Being my two youngest are 6 and 7 they managed to eat a whole pizza between the two of them. Of course one wanted all cheese and the other one wanted meat lovers, they were able to combine it where one pizza was half meat lovers and half cheese (for the lovely price of a full meat lovers pizza of $25) to me not worth it as the meat lover toppings were few The lady who took our order wasn't very friendly, and it showed after we paid for our order. We sat at the small tables to eat the pizzas there with our lilikoi honey slushes. When we waited for our order, my husband noticed the cashier call our number and avoided eye contact as she proceeded to another table with our items as you could see the disappointment of the tip amount we gave when ordering our food. My youngest needed to use the bathroom and when I had asked if they had a restroom she was quick to reply with a not so friendly "No" Not any further recommendations as to where we could go to use a restroom. The only person who seemed really nice was a nice lady from the kitchen area, as my son had spilt his water on the table and I asked if they happen to have a mop so I could possibly clean it as I didnt want to waste their napkins. She was super friendly and helpful. Overall the pizzas were ok, not really worth $22-$25 for size and amount of ingredients Definitely expensive Also they charge extra for take out boxes So if u order to take out you will incur a charge for the box Also if u don't finish your food and want a box to go you will have to purchase one. Totally understand businesses need to make their money Wasn't impressed by the customer service from the cashier and the food was just ok Most likely won't come all the way to eat here again.

The pizza was black and burnt all over the bottom... We couldn't eat it. $55 for two pizzas and 15% tip in the trash.

I am so excited to have Nomadic here in Kailua. The pizza and honey slush are excellent. I'd love to see pita sandwiches on the menu!

I was happy to find that they have both simple crepes (Paris) AND the fancy ones! I also ordered the veggie omelette and was happy to see it came with a delicious salad too! I saw Cotton Candy Lemonade and had to try it. It was unique and refreshing. The ambiance is fun and inviting, the staff is friendly and helpful ...even giving me recommendations based on what I was looking for. The young woman who helped me came out to tell me that the avocados they had that day (for the veggie omelette) weren't good enough to serve, she offered me more of any other vegetables they had. I appreciated the integrity and care not to let a customer eat subpar avocados! There is seating inside and outside(covered) and the friendly staff delivers your food to the table. My only personal critique is that the food is served in to go containers and plastic utensils are given. If I'm eating AT a restaurant, I prefer plates and non-plastic utensils. HOWEVER, this is a personal preference and it did not take away from the flavor of the food one bit. I'm looking forward to returning!

What I wanted? To be greeted semi-promptly, order taken, food delivered, checked on, bill brought, I leave. What I got? Told to sit, greeted some time later, 2 tables sat after me, they got their order taken, I got my order taken (this is when I should have left but I have a penchant for social experiments), food delivered, bill brought, I left. Wont be back unless my friends want to come. The restaurant wont miss me based on how they talked about me loudly just behind where I was seated. Quality is just amazing and distinct sweetener. I also appreciate when we get the drinks iced, they don't over ice it like most places where you feel like you're getting ripped off, but it's like it's a perfect amount of ice. We normally go on a Sunday, so thankfully free street parking and just had to cross the street. If you go on other days, just know there's only meter parking that you have to find nearby. Customer service is always amazing and they always ask how you're doing. Some downsides for me personally, there is only outdoor seating. There is a small little bench inside to wait but overall just not a place to hangout for me. There's also only one worker so sometimes if it's busy and they're juggling orders, it'll take a bit, so I always make sure I have time and not in a rush if I go, just in case.

They really have quite the efficient system here. You order outside the door with the lovely friendly gal (shoot don't remember her name!), then you walk inside and pay at the window, then to your table. The coffee and waters came shortly after we sat and the food came within about 10 minutes or so. We each got eggs and pulehu ribs and the 3 of us shared a side of bacon and an order of the kalbi ribs (total treat cheat as we RARELY eat ANYTHING with sugar/soy etc). Bacon was crispy-YAY. It was all so good. Aside from those sugary ONOlishioso ribs, the perfect meal for us! Next time we'll skip the kalbi and add more bacon. The only things I would ding them on is the price of the side of eggs, and tipping. Somehow gotta figure out how to do tipping after the service! Not gonna change review stars for egg price & tip situation ... Just a note & suggestion to the owner.
