    Pepperoni Pizza

Fantastic service and even better pizza. The overall vibe of the restaurant is great. We had such a relaxing time and the pizza took a little bit to come out, but it was well worth it. I would definitely come back here in a heart beat. The staff is friendly and allows customers to bring their dogs on a leash, into the restaurant.

WOW! Yummiest pizza I've had since Italy. This pizza truck with a brick oven was the coolest thing ever right next to Lanikai Brewing Co. Have a pizza, enjoy a drink, and you have to try the cinnamon bites! I will definitely be coming back! The Bee's Knees pizza is a must try!

(Dined 09/20/22 TU @ 4:30pm): Whether my pizza came from a truck or a trailer... it's all semantics, right!? I was at Lanikai Brewing Co. tasting some beers when I learned that they had a partnership of sorts with Valentina's Brick Oven Pizza Food Truck (trailer was probably more appropriate) as their in-house food option. Unaware whether or not they allowed outside food, and I was already settled in, I figured why not grab some grindz from this establishment. As was commonplace back on the mainland, most breweries had daily food trucks to feed beer-guzzling patrons, and I always loved trying new trucks. Would they be a perfect fit for the brewery!? QUICK BIO "Conveniently located behind Lanikai Brewing Co., their brick oven pizza is made with love. Their dough is hand-made using 4 simple ingredients - flour, water, salt and yeast. Hand-stretched to order and baked in their brick oven using local Kiawe firewood. They use local produce whenever possible!" PURCHASE 11" Suprema Pizza ($20.00): Made with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, Ezzo pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, kalamata olives, keiki mushrooms, and red onions all laid out on a crispy slight airy crust, this pizza hot all the rights spots on my taste buds and in my belly! Be careful because it was extremely hot once it arrived at your table, but once it cooled down a bit and the potential for the roof of your mouth has dissipated, I dove right in and quickly ate two slices. There were plenty of toppings; however, I couldn't detect the distinct flavor of kalamata olives. No worries, the pizza did its job as I resoundingly polished off all six slices as they helped to soak up all the beer, cider, and hard seltzer - bravo https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ziRZBKvo7PI4dF_J8jrRsA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! SERVICE Rather than the actual food trailer, I placed my order with a brewery staff member (and made payment the same way) who handed me a menu https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=grd-I-1mWbh2C_Vhk9v9Zg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, and about ten minutes later my pizza came out piping hot with a lovely aroma. I didn't recall any condiments such as parmesan cheese or chili flakes which was fine since the pie stood on its own. Once I polished off my dinner, the tray was cleared away as were any empty glasses. Things were straightforward, but I honestly would've liked to have dealt directly with my meal supply. PARKING (FREE) Being a food truck, they were at the beck and call wherever they were serving food. In this case, they were the in-house restaurant of Lanikai Brewing Co. brewery. I couldn't recall any onsite parking. However, I found a spot along the main drag of Hamakua Dr. as well as surrounding side streets (please read any posted signs)! Another option was to hire a driving service like a taxi, Lyft, or Uber. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Because I never saw the actual vehicle where my food was coming from, I honestly had no comments whatsoever here. I couldn't say with authority whether or not it was your standard self-sufficient food truck with an exterior menu, order and pick up windows, an area for condiments, napkins, and utensils, etc.. I imagined natural lighting was prevalent during the daytime while your guess was as good as mine about the situation at night. The same went for any TVs or background music. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I enjoyed my meal from Valentina's Brick Oven Food Truck and would consider them again whether at Lanikai Brewing Co. or if they were able to venture offsite. The quality was first-rate, the menu limited but varied enough with pizzas, pupus, salads, and sandwiches, the prices comparable within the food truck industry, and the service straightforward. Nothing earth-shattering here, so don't expect much more. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $20.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they (the brewery in this case) accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Fantastic pizza to go! The beaches in Kailua are so beautiful you do not want to kill time sitting and eating somewhere. With that being said. Valentina's Pizza in conjunction with Lanikai Brewing Company is a great option because you can get pizza to go to bring with you on the beach or you can dine in. We got the Mac Daddy and Suprema. Both fantastic. Thank you VP!!

Great place to eat but the wait was ridiculous we waited about 15 minutes for our food. I would say come here when your about to be hungry or else you might start getting hangry. The food was good I had the miss piggy sandwich which was is Kalua Pulled Pork, Mozzarella, Jalapeño, BBQ Sauce, Pickled Onions, greens and Lilikoi supper good and would definitely recommend it. And the salad was the Insalata also really good.

If you love thin crust pizza this is the spot! I usually love thin crust, but this was the first time I had a pizza and thought the crust was too thin lol. The pizzas are cooked in a brick oven and the outer crust is perfectly crispy, light and chewy. The pepperoni is good but I wish they put more cheese. They make it very traditional with spots of mozzarella, but the spots that had no cheese weren't as good...we need cheeese! Even though they are in a parking lot in a food truck you have to order online or in the building next door at the bar. A little inconvenient but it works I guess. Was it good? Yes. Would I come back? No, if I lived close by maybe!

This is where the magick happens!

Dude. I cannot articulate how outta control dank this spot is!!! I'm dreaming about coming back to the island for it. We placed our order directly with the guys at the truck. They gave us a wait time of 45 minutes....I'd wait two days for the hot honey, pesto, pepperoni deliciousness at this joint. Pizza oven in a food truck... wild!

Wood-fired pizza. So good! This is The Cured for $14.

I can't believe I'm only the 3rd person to review this awesome pizza food truck! They are conveniently located in the parking lot of Lanikai Brewing Company in Kailua, so as you're sipping your beer, you can order a fabulous pizza to go along with it! The food truck has a legit wood-fired pizza oven. I ordered "The Cured" for $14, and it came with tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni and basil. The pizza is approximately 8 slices and I ate the WHOLE pie by myself! Oink oink! The crust was perfect! Not too thin, but thick enough so that the ingredients don't slide off when you pick up a slice. All of the ingredients are super fresh and the pizza comes out hot as they're made to order. In addition to The Cured, they have about 6 other pizza variations to choose from. They make their dough fresh every day and their prices are on par with other gourmet pizza places. They also offer a couple of pupus, salads and sandwiches on their menu. I would highly recommend their pizza and I can't wait to return in the near future!

It's a food truck in the Lanikai Brewing Co. parking lot. You can sit inside and order a pizza or order a pizza from the truck. The pizza was flavorful, the crust was thin yet the edges were crunchy and chewy, straight out of the brick pizza oven! Sooo good! I can't stop thinking about how amazing the pizza was. Definitely don't sleep on this pizza truck just because the reviews aren't in the hundreds.

After much anticipation due to them being closed for the holidays and working through figuring out…read moretheir schedule, we finally got a chance to head over to their evening location for a taste of that fresh Big Island lobster! They park their truck in what I overheard is on the property of one of their friends (what a cool friend!) and as such there isn't really much ambience on the street - next door there is a dive bar and there's not much else going on in the evenings, but they get credit for at least putting out some charming tables out front for customers, and making the best to work with what they've got. I ordered the combo, lobsta roll + lobster bisque. On a chilly night this hit the spot. The lobster was definitely fresh, although I felt like the roll took away from the flavor on some bites. Maybe the lobster wasn't packed in like I'm used to but hey, quality over quantity is okay by me. The bisque didn't blow me away but it was solid. Service was friendly and prompt, and I appreciate their efforts in using compostables over single use plastics (aside from the admittedly cute lobster pinned on top of the sandwich, which might i suggest to make this more Ocean Friendly by making it a paper flag)? I'm always mindful of the impact of single use trash/plastics guys, if you haven't noticed from my previous reviews. With all that said, I appreciate their use and support of locally caught lobsters which not only supports our local fisherman but also ensures the freshest and therefore most delicious seafood option, and for that they have my support. Totally worth their reasonable prices for what you get. I'll be back again when the craving for lobster rolls rolls back in, although their poke does look pretty bomb diggity so maybe I will try that too! Maybe this time I'll check 'em out in the daytime at their other location - I have a feeling the daytime vibe will feel more energetic!

They have a nice set up with a table and some chairs under an umbrella in case you decide you want to eat there. I ordered their lobster roll and lobster bisque combo for $20. The lobster bisque came out in a small to go cup and was served with a small toasted square of Kings sweet bread and some fresh herbs. The bisque was good with chunks of lobster meet, a creamy stock, and a little bit of cauliflower. I was surprised by this but I ended up liking it as it added some texture without taking away from the lobster. The lobster roll was served on a perfectly toasted Kings roll with a side of lemon. The lobster tasted like it was grilled with butter and then they add some greens, radish sprouts, and a little but of egg salad. It seemed like he used a whole lobster for the lobster roll (albeit a small one) as there was a healthy mix of tail and claw meet. I liked how he added some egg salad and again it added a surprise to the roll without taking away the focus from the lobster. I ended up ordering another roll and left pleasantly full. I spent some time talking to Dustin afterwards and he's still trying to get the feel for things and he's also trying to figure out where he'll set up in town. He expects business to pick up significantly when he does but for now hurry up and head over to his Kailua spot before word gets out and you have to wait in line.
