Worst customer service. This place doesn't even deserve not even one start. That's the worst place to order pizza from. Employee answers after being 10 minutes on the phone and as I'm ordering he starts talking to someone else. I stay on the phone and waiting to continue my order and I hear people laughing and talking in the background. 20 minutes in from when I call I get back on hold. I continue to wait to see how long it would take for them to pick up again. 30 minutes and never es answered. Having to hold for ten minutes just to ask about wait time is ridiculous.There is NEVER any excuse for a 1.5 hour delivery wait time, unless the employees are being mismanaged (or not managed) or it's Super Bowl Sunday. The last time I ordered from here, it was 40 minutes later than they said it would be. For giggles, I went in, sat down, and tried to order for delivery over the phone. Right now I'm sitting here waiting for my pie that just went into the oven when I was originally told it would be ready 35 minutes ago... We have picked up pizzas here many times, and the quality of the food is always been good. My complaint is with the chaos and poor time management behind the counter and in the kitchen... Acceptable pizza if they ever get my order correct. Delivery wait is not worth it. Usually 1 hour. All pizzas are super dry so I order with extra sauce...there is still never a difference. Service has always been hit and miss, more miss than hit. The last time I ordered from there the driver who delivered my pizza had dropped it in his car and all the toppings had fallen off. On top of that, it was over an hour after I ordered and I live 2 miles away, pizza was cold and the grease had started turning it soggy. I saw the negative feedback and I think they really took the feedback and really improved. My pizza came within an hour and it was hot. They called in advance to ask if I was okay with a 1:30-2hr wait (although it came way sooner than that) and the courtesy call was really thoughtful on their part! Well I am sure what is wrong with Round Table but the service has is sliding down hill. The quality of the pizza is dropping and when I called in my pick up I was told it would be 20 minutes when I arrive I was told 10 minutes. After 10 minutes it was just going in the oven. I go it finally. I was given a free salad of wilted lettuce from the salad bar which a had not been changed since lunch. One of the workers is flipping her pony tail around shedding hair into various pizza toppings. Its time to find another pizza place that puts quality an service first. Three times ordering from here since my wife and I moved to the area and all 3 times its taken over 2 hours to get our order (once was over 4 hours). (Three strikes and we take our business elsewhere) I told the person who answered the phone our history and that we would unfortunately have to cancel our order (I was interrupted at this point by the person actually saying "excellent I can help you with that") which I replied that we would have take our business elsewhere. I went here for lunch one day and I was disappointed. It was for the all you can eat buffet. I don't eat a lot and the selection they had here was sad. The salad looked old and there was not a great selection of pizza. It's near the BART station, but I figure they just probably don't get many people stopping by. If I had to come here again I'd pass. It's one of the only "name" brand pizza places around. There is another location in Pittsburg, but we went to this one because there was less traffic. I can see why now. read more

WOW! I'm extremely disappointed! I placed my online order at 1:24 pm today for delivery, and it clearly said "fulfillment time" 2:04 p.m (I wasn't expecting it to be exact.) 2:04 passes, 2:30 passes, 3:00 passes...still no delivery. I finally decide to give them a call. I was put on hold for about 6 minutes, and then got hung up on. I call them back, and NO ONE ANSWERS! Finally on the 3rd try, I was able to get a hold of someone. The guy told me he was sorry, his driver just walked in and I was the next delivery, but it was still going to be another 20 minutes. He asked me if I wanted to cancel but I decided to just wait since I waited this long anyway. So 20 minutes go by, still no delivery. Finally at at 3:47 I received my delivery. The driver was kind, I still tipped him (it wasn't his fault they were short staffed.) Food: The pepperoni on the pizza was undercooked, I had to place it in the oven to finish it. The buffalo wings were stale and literally tasted like frozen chicken nuggets with hot sauce on them. Never again will I order from here. We ordered Pizza for a late office meeting. The order was to be delivered by 3:20 pm. However, at 3:48 pm the pizza has yet to be delivered. We called and they told me the driver had to take lunch and the order was delay. This is the worst Round Table Pizza in Northern California. If I place an order online and you tell me 40 minutes, why then have I been waiting for an hour? Then I call and some idiot hangs up in my face 3 times because they don't want to be bothered to do their job. They pick up on the 4th call and tell me that it will now be an additional 10 minutes because they only have two drivers. So because they clearly have just thrown my pizza in the oven I offer to come over and get it. Now she says if I pick it up the pizza it will be ready in 25 minutes!!! What in the entire hell? The math doesn't add up! First you said 10 minutes for delivery, now it's 25 for pickup! And then when I ask about refunding the delivery fee, she seemed confused. I am so done with RoundTable! Stop hiring your dumb, unmotivated relatives and get somebody in there that knows what they're doing and who takes pride in their work! Poor customer service and bad quality leads to your customers going to the Port Chicago spot. So why then would we need a spot on Bailey??? Do not confuse this location with any other round table pizza in Pittsburg because they won't tell you they don't deliver to you, they'll just never show up and then lie about it. We ordered our pizza online, the location said Pittsburg, but we were not aware that this location didn't deliver to our home. The email confirmation said it would be delivered within 40 minutes and that our card had been charged. One hour and twenty minutes later, we called to find out where our food was. We hadn't heard anything since the confirmation email. The young lady that answered the phone couldn't find our reservation at first then asked our address. Once she found the address was where they didn't normally deliver she told us that they didn't deliver to our area. I asked her why we weren't called she was being informed by her manager to say something that I couldn't understand when repeated by the young lady. I then asked to speak to the manager and was put on hold for 10 minutes. That's a horrible way to treat a customer you just crapped on. All it did was make me more angry. When the manager finally got on the line she made it seem like she did me some sort of favor by allegedly attempting to deliver to our house even though it was out of the delivery area. Please keep in mind that per Google maps this location is 2 miles away. She had come with the story that when they received our order they knew we were out of the delivery area but since we'd paid they would make the pizza and deliver it anyway. Apparently, the land line that we have here at our home doesn't receive calls from that ONE single delivery driver. Because there were supposedly three calls made and we never heard the phone that was 3 feet away from us ring. So we are now an hour and 40 minutes after the original order being made. I have had the opportunity to eat at this location on several different occasions. But unfortunately I will no longer be a patron at this location. On approx 6/9, a pretty hot day in my area. I decided it was too hot to cook, so I decided to order a pizza from this location online using a coupon sent in the mail for online orders. I logged in placed my order an attempted to use the coupon I rcvd, with this locations address. The coupon code wouldn't work. So, I called the location and the representative informed me that the coupon was a corporate coupon and their location is a franchise. I said, what...!, but it has your address and I can't use the coupon? The representative told me again, it's a corporate coupon and they are a franchise and they don't honor corporate coupon. After being pretty ticked off, I contacted my local news reporter take ask if this establishment should have honored the coupon. She inquired about this via email with the corporate office and did a report about it on tv without naming names, she found out it was a touchy area but they should and would honor the coupon. Your know after having to go thru all off that to get them to honor a coupon that has their store address and phone no. on it. I think why give then anymore of my hard earned money. Came to round table to re visit after a bad experience. I came to realize that maybe they were extremely busy the day I had that experience this time was great! I received amazing fresh pizza, a cleanly fresh salad bar and great customer service. Sometimes we need to realize that businesses can be swamped as many of our lives and we need to give second chances. Saturday night 730 pm I placed an order online for delivery, for almost a $50 order. At 930 pm I called the store to check the status of my order, I was placed on hold for about 15 minutes then the line went to some kind of voice message. I called back and spoke with a lady who put her supervisor on the phone, who said his name was "Mike" He stated that me delivery order was put in as a pick up order by his employee! Mike offered to remake my pizza and have it delivered to me in another hour and a half. I said it was past my bed time and I'd take a refund. As he was telling me my debit card had not been charged yet, I knew it was by looking at my bank app. Mike then continued to tell me that he refunded the amount and I would see it in 3to 5 business days. What disturbed me most was, there was no apology or coupons offered for my patience. I eat at this location often. Poor management and apparently poor training for staff! read more
