This Round Table clubhouse was much better than your average Round Table! I came here with my family after my younger brothers had a basketball tournament in Rocklin, with their whole team as well, and everyone had a blast! The service was great, the food was delicious, there were games for the kids to play and a bar for the parents to grab a drink. The pizza came out pretty quickly even though the place was busy, and there was ample seating for two basketball teams and their parents and coaches. I had never been to one before.....I was missing out. Recently we took our friends out and were so impressed. The place was busy but so friendly. We ordered 2 large pizzas, 2 salads and bread sticks. We got our pizzas pretty darn quick. But when the employee found I had never been to a Clubhouse before he was so darn sweet. He explained how they were different and came out to check on us while we were eating. Salad bar was nice and clean and it had hard boiled eggs! You don't see them at all salad bars. Exceptional customer service. On Super Bowl Sunday we ordered our pizzas at noon, asking for them to be delivered at 4 o'clock. Due to a glitch in their computer system, they were inundated with orders to be delivered at 4 o'clock, ours was late. The way the business handled the situation was extraordinary. We received lovely customer service from two people on the phone that afternoon, great customer service from the extremely busy deliverer, and wonderful customer service when I called the restaurant a few days later. Round Table is one of my favorite pizza chains. Their quality is just better in this world of $5 pizzas. Nothing is wrong with a $5 pizza but sometimes I just want something better. And with Round Table you get what you pay for. It's not super fast food but it takes time for pizza to be baked and I understand that. It's nothing mind blowing, I'm sure I have had better pizza but when and where I cannot tell you. RT is consistently delicious. I always get the garlic twist breadsticks, they are my favorite (sometimes more than the pizza itself). The service here has never blown my mind, but the staff is pleasant enough and get the job done. On the subject of pricey pizza, if you go on the RT website, you can get coupons text to you. We decided to give this place a try after driving by it a few times. We walked in not expecting much more than a typical Round Table experience and were totally blow away by not only the atmosphere but the level of service. Moving from downtown to Rocklin has been a bit of a culture shock for us as we miss having a place where we can get an awesome craft beer and watch the Giants game. Happy to say this place covers all those bases. Arik, the bar manager, has really gone above and beyond with his beer offerings. We had such a great experience tonight. We came in at 6pm on a Friday night with a party of 16 and they were so nice and helpful. They pushed some tables together and told us all about the specials. This new location is really nice and spacious. We had a bunch of kids with us so the arcade was great at keeping them nice. If it wasn't raining we would have sat in the nice patio. The bar was a nice touch. The pizza, wings and breadsticks were delicious as always. The staff were all really nice and super helpful. We will be back here for sure. read more

What can I say? It's standard Round Table Pizza. I used to LOVE RTP when I was a kid. Maybe that's who they cater to...kids. Kind of like McDonalds? When I was a kid I LOVED McD too. Now...not so much. But in a pinch, it'll do. That's how I think of RTP these days. The pizza is not great, but in a pinch, it'll do. Do these guys produce a better pizza than other Round Table locations? I don't think so. The one plus that this location has over some of the others locally is that it's larger than some of the others and it offers space for larger group meetings...like soccer parties. read more

Kids had free pizza certificate and they discounted one only $4.20....you can't even get a pizza for that price. How is that free? We actually had 2 and they were for one topping pizza which is $6, but the 2nd with a couple extra toppings cost more and was discounted less. Last order I ordered 2 pan pizzas, both came thin crust. Another time, I ordered delivery and they never sent it out leaving us waiting 2 hours! We always seem to have a problem here. I think this is the last time. I stopped in a couple of weeks ago on a Tuesday. This place was great, I was greeted by the friendly bartender and pointed to the counter where a very patient girl helped me with the menu and answered my questions. All in all a great experience, we loved the Sliders, pizza and fries. I would have given them 5 stars but the food came out at different times and look a while. But I can't wait to go back. Update: So I went back to get my money back for this and she offered me another salad. I kindly said that was ok and I would just want my money back. She then said " How about I do both?" The reason I am giving this a 2 star is because when I went in their today on my lunch. I ordered at 12:13, and it was just a plain wedge salad. They were quite busy due to the all you can eat buffet. Though, I saw them put a box up on the hot counter and figured oh maybe it's not mine. I waited another 10 mins, and still nothing. It is now 12:32 and has been 20 mins since I had placed my order and nothing. The cashier didn't even acknowledge me after I had placed my order. She didn't check behind her to see if the food came up, she didn't ask me anything to see if I was still waiting. She just kept helping everyone in line. Finally I asked one of the bus boys to check and see if that was my order on the hot counter that had already been sitting there for 10 mins. He looked and found that it was, he apologized. I asked for Extra blue cheese and he got that for me no problem. I finally got out of there around 12:36, and basically spent my whole lunch waiting for them to make a WEDGE SALAD. So I get back to work and open my salad and it's literally just half a head of lettuce cut, and it was brown in the middle. I was of course pretty upset, yes it was only 6 bucks but how hard is it to get a wedge salad correct. Looked nothing like the picture they show you of their wedge salad. I called and spoke with the manager and explained what had happened. She offered for me to come and get a new salad. At this point I only had 5 mins before needing to be back to work. I told her that was not possible, and if I could just bring my receipt in I would like a refund. She stated that would fine. I don't know if I will go back here again since It seems like they can not even get a salad correct. Maybe that is why they have a salad bar. LOL read more

As far as pizza places go, this restaurant is nothing special. Large dining areas and a small "arcade" for the young ones. I like that the salad bar is adult height so there's less chance that someone will contaminate the toppings. I do not enjoy paying almost 1.5-2x more than almost every other pizza joint for chain quality pizza. Unless your dough is made from scratch, hand rolled, and has special combinations with premium ingredients, you should not have to pay almost $30 for a large pizza. With that said, I have never had a disappointing pizza from RT (still doesn't justify the inflated charge). The one in Folsom has 50% off on Mondays so it can be done. This Round Table makes some pretty tasty pizza, I like that they didn't put a ton of sauce on it, like some places do. It's a little pricey, so I usually try to see what their specials are before ordering. I have to say, the garlic bread was a little odd- I was expecting it made out of pizza dough but instead it was like a French roll covered in melted cheese. Tonight was the last time we will go here. They made a pub style bar but the bartenders are horrible maybe they are understaffed but every time we go it's the same deal. If Paula isn't there it's bad service!!!! Some of the WORST service I've ever received. Not only was the cashier rude and unfriendly, I wasted 35 dollars on a medium sized pizza with only 12 slices. The gentleman helping me quoted me around a 20 minute wait at 6:50 and told me they would bring the pizza to my table. 7:40 came around and still not one single employee came to ask what I was waiting for so I had to walk to the counter and ask TWICE for my order I had placed almost an hour ago. Finally the same gentlemen who had rang me up, or should I say robbed me of 35 bucks for a mediocre pizza, looked at me, pulled the pizza out of a warmer and said with a half smile and teeth clenched "sorry I forgot". I am never getting a pizza here again. First it took 2+ hours to get the pizza delivered after they quoted it would be here in no more than 45 min. When the order came the pizza was stale and cold like they cooked it yesterday and kept it in the fridge over night. The garlic twisted were hard as rock, didn't look over cooked but but again like it was cooked yesterday if not a week ago, and then tried to nuke it in the microwave to pass off this pathetic excuse of garlic twists. I called the store and tried to be polite letting them know the pizza was cold stale and inedible the manager at store was completely unhelpful and stated since we had touched the pizza he was unable to refund us on this horrid excuse of a pizza. He offered a coupon. I repeat a coupon for the money I wasted trying to get a pizza, then hung up on me. How he handled the situation was beyond redemption. I understand the food, stuff happens but to completely disregard a customers complaint and making it a vendetta to not even make it right or even apologize is beyond me. read more

Extremely disappointed in the ownership of this establishment, first things first- we reserved their party room 3weeks ago for a party of 50 people with the manager Paula, this morning I called to confirm the time and they said a different name reserved it, but the assistant manager said there will be room in the restaurant for us as well, turned out our party was all split up, and there was no manager to be found, very disappointing. There hasn't been any major issues with our orders but if there was they fixed it right away. The Manager and Leads have been more than helpful. The reason for fewer stars is that if you order online (and pay ahead!) you have to wait in the same line as those who are dining in. In regular sized pizza places that works fine. But this place is larger than most and gets busy! So you could be waiting a good 10-15 min while a few families figure out what to eat. And there you stand, waiting to get your order. It's even more madding since they have multiple registers but only one is open - yet multiple people are behind the counter. If they're going to make people stand in one line, then take down the sign that says "phone orders". Tip: if you order online or call ahead for carry out - order from another Round Table. I have a softball team and have called on several occasions to book team meetings and parties and the people that answer the phone are rude and tell me they are too busy to help me and to call back.
