I'm not a local to California, and have never heard of Round Table Pizza~ I wish I had, maybe then I would have known to go somewhere different. Their 6.99 buffet was what caught our eye~ unlimited salad, pizza, and breadsticks. Their sign that says "Garden Fresh Salad, High quality toppings, and premium lettuce blend" was hard to turn away...but their food is anything BUT high quality and premium. The vegetables were brown, the lettuce limp and dry, and the pasta salad was SOUR!! The pizza was "okay" but mostly dried out, and JuST cheese pizza wasn't an option on the buffet. All the tables around us sat dirty, no one ever coming out to bus them or wipe them down~ cleanliness is not something this establishment practices. We will NOT be returning. read more

Me and my family came to eat here from out of town. We came to the aquarium and decided to drive out to this round table because it was easier to find parking than the one in Monterey. Upon receiving our receipt for our order there was a promo for 6 free garlic twists with the purchase of any pizza. Due to having two little ones we figured it would be best to buy a personal for them and get the twists for the adults. The manager informed us they were not able to honor the code and to try online even though it specified to only be used in store. We order at least twice a month from the Seaside Round Table. Lately we have either not received the order or they deliver someone else's/wrong pizza. When you call the phone will ring 25-30 times before someone picks up and then hangs up. (Today it rang 25 times each each of the 4 calls I made and on the 5th call they finally answered) Not good for business. We have experienced Take Out only. Walk-in: At pick-up, the staff & manager here are very nice & have a high standard of customer service. Call-in orders are met with a long RTP promo recording. Sometimes a long wait before "live" pick-up. Phone order -taker seems consistently rushed & does not offer product options or add-ons. This store does not presently honor any of the online discount coupons. Pizza quality is average and take-and-bake does not come with cooking instructions. We are repeat customer off and on for over 8 years. Adequate for a quick get together of children or a treat for a moving crew. WARNING!!!!! Stay far away from this place. I've been coming to this pizza place for more than 7 years. Hell I started coming here way before the worst person I've have ever meet started working here, Marco the manager. Yes I have seen with my own eyes how he has change his attitude through out the years. Everything was going smooth until here comes Marco he was on the phone who walked by to get to a private room. As he is doing so he steps in front of my 7 year old and meanly said "no running " my girl was scare shaken and tears running down. Now have in mind this is a 6'1 tall grown man sizing up a 4'0 girl. I went up to him and calmly ask for him that next time he should come to me first. He was livid yelling his head off how he doesn't need us to be there, this isn't a park, to leave,go somewhere else. Now all this happened in front of all other customers. Just like I've seen him do the same to other families. My girls were very scare can you imagine having someone screaming at you and kicking you out. Seaside Round Table is usually grungy looking every time I go in there. I really like their ingredients so I keep coming back. But the employees who answer the phone really seem to struggle with understanding English. No offense meant, but I have gotten "tude" twice now. One time the woman did not correlate their "skinny" crust for thin crust. Second time older Hispanic male answers and somehow confuses a one topping on all, and half with one topping and other half with another topping. All I can say is use the online order app. to avoid talking to these people, and forget about dining there, usually filthy, tables unbused, carpet has food and trash under tables, and overall the place needs a make over. I love the King Arthur Supreme. Among existing major chain pizzas it's definitely my favorite. Even if my wife's around and I can't have olives on it, it's still my favorite! So this place was in strong contention of getting a 4 anyway. But then my wife asked if they had milk for our daughter. The manager told us they don't carry milk, but he happened to have a quart of his own unopened in the refrigerator, a glass of which he gave to us for free! Like many others, I highly recommend doing delivery or taking your order to go because the inside is very depressing. The pizza however, is very good with ingredients that are higher quality than the lower end chains around here. I would have given 4 stars, but on my last visit I placed an online order and when I arrived the women acted surprised that I didn't just call it in and told me she could make it if I wanted to wait. Customer service is 5-stars for manager and staff! We walked in for a birthday party of 12 without reservations and used the private party room. Manager took our order and priced the best deal for our group. The best part was free entertainment. Manager did magic tricks and practical jokes on the kids. He was great and so funny! Marco...this is for you. Troy you kick ass. I'm not sure how you think you're supposed to treat customers but the way you handle yourself is completely unacceptable. You are in a customer driven business where customer service is KEY. Your attitude towards people when they are not happy with your service is not that of a manager or someone who should be managing anything. When I placed my order online I selected delivery and for a certain time. I also added the note to say "please deliver at 12pm" as this is my scheduled lunch because I have noticed your website is broken and does not transfer that info to you. The delivery driver (who I will get to later) even told you that I wanted it at 12 as he has delivered to me almost weekly for probably 3-4 months. My food arrived at 11:00...one hour before my lunch. You 1.) told him that you were too busy and to send it out now 2.) wouldn't let him call me to verify the time, and 3.) did not read the order correctly with the 12pm note attached to it. When I called you about the early deliver and having to eat cold food as I had to wait until 12 to eat you proceeded to say it was my fault, that I messed the order up...etc. You also told me I can feel free to order food from somewhere else. Your hot head attitude is not that of a manager or someone who should be in a customer service job. There are better ways to handle yourself. Here is some free advice that is customer service 101. 1.) You apologize for the mix up. Even if it was my fault...suck that ego/pride down and apologize. If I realize I F'd up..i will admit it. 2.) Don't ever blame the customer and tell them they can go somewhere else. Word of mouth travels and you will lose more than just my business. 3.) Offer a refund, partial refund, free food...something to make up for the issue. This is all basic customer service and customer retention. Now...to the deliver driver. You Troy should be running this place. Marco needs to rethink his career choice and pass the management down to you. Not only are you the nicest, most helpful deliver driver I have met but you care about your job. You are always friendly at the door, smiling and on time almost to the dot of when i request my delivery's. Not only did you apologize at my door (when Marco never did) you took your time when you got back to call me and apologized again. You even told me that you did in fact see the note on the order (the note Marco said I never put on the order and blamed me for not doing). You are the one who called and offered me free food after talking to Marco. Was Marco man enough to call me as the manger and suck that ego down...no...you were. He had the deliver driver call, which really I'm glad you did because the call probably would have gone a different direction if Marco called. Maybe that's why you did it...if so god idea. When Corp. or the person in charge of the franchises contacts me I will be sure to mention this to them. Marco..I'm not sure what you are doing...what has you so angry at life, but taking it out on the customers is not right. There is a right way to do business and a wrong way. You are doing everything wrong. You would flourish in debt collection with your attitude...and hey you could probably work from home and avoid people in public. Worst possible experience ever. I ordered online and the ticket they received did not match what I put in online. Spoke with general manger Carlos chevelas and told him it was not what I ordered he said that the ticket he received he made too bad. I called back after reding their satisfaction guarantee policy and he said he called the owner for permission to refund or make the correct order. He said the owner told him no. I am calling corporate tomorrow morning. Not only was my order incorrect the response was extremely rude and inappropriate. Not only will I never order again I will tell everyone I know not to order from them. I even told them I would bring the pizza back for a refund. Still said no. I see now why this restaurant has such terrible reviews. I took pictures for proof. It looks like it was smashed in an industrial press. They said my order was for an extra thin crust.
