My family loves pizza and when we saw a new venue to try we were excited. The menu is intriguing with many non-traditional pizzas. There is informal, in-door seating but it looks more like a take out place, though the prices are more high end. The reason for my three star is that the pizza ultimately was bland and most importantly the crust was undercooked. It's a pretty thick crust and ours was doughy; I had to recook to make it more firm. There wasn't much sauce and it had no flavor. The toppings seemed fresh and it is possible their Eastern pizzas are more flavorful, so if you are looking for that you should give it a try. But if you want a more traditional Italian or 'West' pizza, there are better options. read more

$19 10" combination pizza was: acceptably good. Good price. But having eaten at 100's of places over decades, it's hard for any pizza to get me to sit up and notice. This place is a good neighborhood joint and at least better than Mountain Mike's. 3.5 stars for the food. 4 stars because it's a family run place. read more

I liked that it was open late on a Monday night, so we could still get carry out around 9:00. We ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza and an All Meats pizza. I preferred the BBQ chicken pizza over the other combination, but I think I want more BBQ sauce on it. We were intrigued that one of the toppings for All Meats was linguiça,even though it gets lost in the other ingredients. Two large sizes will feed four to five people. read more

Stopped here with the family, and went with the curry chicken pizza as suggested in most reviews and OMG! So good! The cheesy bread twists came out hot and gooey. The husband and wife duo here are so incredibly welcoming and friendly. This will definitely be a new Seaside staple for us! read more

We were passing through looking for little Caesars. Couldn't find it so stopped here. So glad we did! Got the curry chicken pizza and it did not disappoint! My toddler ate half of a small cheese pizza as well and thats more than he usually eats. Lol, would recommend and def stop by again if we are in the area. Freezing inside restaurant for dine in - "secure keypad" side door open the whole time for dinner (less than 70 degrees out... and we aren't from here, spent the last few hours in the cold... so yeah, cold dinner I can't wait.) Salad dressings: Ranch or Italian Utensils: Plastic Plates: Paper Water/Drinks?: Nah Lots of specialty pizzas but freezing in a dine in establishment with no water is really my idea of a fineeeee meal. Bathrooms need a good cleaning. Dough machine on the way back with dough in it that isn't covered with a cloth, towel, plastic, nothing. And this place does not look clean inside. Recently opened in 2024, a great spin on pizza with an Indian flair. I ordered two medium pizzas: 1) Curry 2) Garlic. Both pizzas were made fresh at time of ordering. They both had great flavor and the crust was light similar to a thin crust. Small ordering counter with free seats indoor. Service was prompt and my pies were ready in 15-20 minutes. Got the meat lovers pizza - it was good, generous toppings and good crust. I did however get the chicken Alfredo pasta to try and they legit need to take this off the menu. I opened up the lid and it was bare noodles, chicken, and melted cheese on top. NO Alfredo sauce to be seen and tasted like air. It was also supposed to have bacon on it and there was none. Disappointing, but again at least pizza was fine. read more

I ordered a medium curry pizza and garlic knots for delivery. The description says 'butter sauce' so I was hoping they'd use a butter chicken sauce, but no - it's straight up basic curry flavor, with a kick to it. It's not too spicy for me and I'm on the wimpish side, but it's there. I will say some bites are spicy and some are not. The pizza is beautiful and I feel they're generous with the toppings. It's thin crust, which I prefer. It did not have a crispy bottom (reason for 4 stars instead of 5), but that was okay for me. I usually eat my pizza cold, so sog isn't as much a factor for me with leftovers. It was made quickly and delivered quickly. I would order this in future but not that often because I OD quickly on basic curry. I prefer the other, more nuanced Indian sauces. However, I'd order 'regular' pizzas from them too after this as I think the crust, size and topping generosity for the price is good. The garlic knots are gorgeous and fluffy and I'd order those again too. read more

I honestly can't believe this place wasn't packed! My group and I stumbled upon this spot for a late dinner after a long day of exploring the coast, and it was exactly what we needed. It's a cozy, family-owned business. When we arrived, there was only one woman working and doing absolutely everything--taking orders, prepping, and baking. Another person eventually came in to help her, but we honestly felt for them! Despite being understaffed, they were kind and hardworking. We were so hungry that we forgot to take photos (rookie mistake, I know), but the pizza was phenomenal. We ordered: Classic Pepperoni: Perfectly greasy and crisp. BBQ Chicken: Great tangy sauce-to-topping ratio. Curry Chicken: The standout! Super flavorful and a nice twist on traditional pizza. They do not skimp on toppings which was great. It took about 30 minutes to get our food. Honestly, for a small family shop where they're making things fresh, that's not bad at all. If you're in a massive rush, be mindful, but the quality is well worth the half-hour wait. Bottom line: Support this local business! Everything is amazing!!!! food is so flavorful and delicious. Service is amazing. Great customer service very respectful, smiles on their face and everything.. The ambience of this place is amazing very welcoming. Words can't explain on how delicious and flavorful the vegetarian pizza is. My husband doesn't eat vegetables and he loves it. The garlic twist are so warm and flavorful and just really hit the spot. It took me only 10 minutes to get home and my food was still warm and it was very very convenient location. This is the best pizza in Monterey, CA. As someone who has lived all over the world-I've consumed a lot of pizza. Even in Italy. When we moved here to CA the test was on to find our favorite Friday night pizza place. It took us a while to find East West but I'm thankful we did! We took many suggestions from locals on many other 'popular' places in the area but in my opinion they were all very bland. East West has the best dough! There different sauces on the pizzas from the bbq, Alfredo, to their tomato sauce are all very good. And the toppings taste of high quality. For the short time we will live here I can't wait to keep eating this pizza! My only wish is we would have found them sooner! read more

Glad to have found this pizza restaurant that open on 4th of July. We tried the all meat pizza and it was perfect. The crust was delicious, the meat are plentiful, they didnt skim on any of the ingredients. The pizza was perfectly hot,temperature wise. We also ordered a meatball sandwich. It was delicious, the buns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Each bite was so tasty and fresh. We all enjoyed our meal. We are glad to support a small business. The hot dogs were absolutely delicious, served on a high-quality bun shipped directly from the East Coast (the same ones they use for their Philly cheesesteaks). It was a fantastic, flavorful surprise. As you can see from the photo, my wife thoroughly enjoyed diving right into that massive foot-long! The service was top-notch, the food was spectacular (such great quality and flavor), and they truly care about their customers. What is the Rosine's touch? Attention to service. Downtown, any server will stop to handle requests and the servers provide a welcoming environment. At Caffe by Rosine's in Sand City, you order at the counter but they have a server (or busser?) at the door watching for anything a customer might need. Being in a wheelchair, that extra touch was appreciated. My mom had the breakfast sandwich, which came out piping hot and she said the orange juice was good. I had the veggie sandwich, I don't know what it's called on the menu but the bread was soft and fresh. I loved the cookie butter latte. They do coffee like a serious coffee spot! I'll be back to try some other variations. We had cake to go and we'll be back soon and often. Every seat was filled when we left at 2 pm so it's a popular place. Good food, great drinks but the friendly staff is the icing on the cake.

You're refusing to take accountability for the fact that you hired an individual who is extremely obnoxious, mouthy, and disrespectful to a customer who is having a problem due to a combination of factors - one being that you closed early on a weekend night, and the other being that a third-party service is failing to do a good job. A third-party service I might add who you have chosen to do business with. As a small business owner myself, as you pointed out, I can assure you, I will never hire a person and allow them to work at my front desk who has the audacity to treat customers as rudely as your employee did. The largest offense here was the behavior of your employee and that is the one thing you have failed to address. There are solutions to the problems you were having - one is as simple as writing a note on your door, letting your customers know that you've chosen to close early that day. Another is refusing to do business with a third-party who is making matters worse rather than better for your business. But the most important thing here is having the care And attention that is required to not hire people capable of being so rude to your customers. Your employee did not make that offer of a pizza until we pointed out that he could have done something better to address the situation rather than giving mouth. But the point here is, we did not want pizza at that time. We wanted the night before when we were in a jam, and by that point, our trust in the food at your store was completely shattered. Because if a person makes a decision to hire someone that is so rude to customers, they may also make the decision to hire a cook who spits in your food. And anyone who fails to understand or address the unacceptable behavior of their employees when it is necessary is indeed a one star establishment. This is an update: A person from Pizza My Way called me a day after I posted my original 1-star review. She was friendly and helpful, and ultimately refunded the $40. I appreciated that. So I brought my review up to 3 stars. However, the situation was seriously unacceptable. Businesses have a responsibility to hire people who are going to treat customers with respect and who are capable of responding to problems created by decisions of the restaurant and their policies. This was a stressful experience and my wife and I walked away feeling very disrespected and initially $40 poorer with no pizza and no solution. The young person working for them has no business treating customers who pay a whopping $40 for a pizza that way- and his behavior being tolerated makes it impossible for me to give the restaurant another chance - so I cannot give an honest review of their food only their service. Maybe if someday I get a call that they have let said employee go they can regain my trust and I'll give them a try because their right up the street, and perhaps I can become a regular customer since I'm so close and they can get a higher rating from me. I was in a jam and I had to get my kids some food and was not able to get back home and cook because of an emergency at work. In any case, I pay for the pizza online and then I called to confirm and there's no answer. I call multiple times. I show up to the store in person at around 8:35, 25 minutes before they are supposed to take their last order, and the whole place is dark. The next day, I am assured by the person I speak to on the phone that I will be refunded. Later on that day, I double checked to make sure that's true and it looks like they withdrawn the money from my bank account. So I called back and the person I speak to on the phone refuses to give me their name, they take absolutely no accountability for the situation, and offer absolutely no solution. So I spent $40 on pizza I never received, I was completely unable to get the attention of the manager, and my wife, and I both had to endure rudeness, extreme rudeness from their staff. When I walked in to restate my reasonable request to no avail, the person on staff was recording me on his phone. I don't get it. I'm the customer and I've already spent money and I still haven't received any product from them. It's nothing personal. When you're closing well before you posted hours on a weekend night, when you've got some cockamamie ordering system that you've built into your website, when you can't be accountable to your customers that spend money or even polite, you deserve the bad reputation that follows.
