"exotic" menu item: pepperoni hot honey (personal size)
    Karina R.

Came here for a late dinner (around 8:15pm) to take back to our hotel after a long day. We ordered our pizza, one cheese and one pepperoni hot honey personal size for both. Although they were closing at 9, they were very busy, which is always a good sign. We waited about 10 minutes and got our pizza and drove back to the hotel to enjoy. My kids loved their cheese, they said it was a 10/10. The pepperoni hot honey was good, but not worth the price point, in my opinion, as there was nothing really special about it. Next time I would probably just get one off their regular menu not their "exotic" menu. It still satisfied my pizza craving after a long day exploring. I would definitely come back next time we're here! Didn't really interact with staff other than placing our order and no complaints there.

    Garlic Chicken Pizza

Discovered this spot through a recommendation. They were able to take our group of 10 right before kitchen closing. It is pricey but the pizza was good. I got the chicken pesto pizza with fresh jalapeños (they add to the taste). I personally liked the garlic chicken more though they were very close in taste. Margherita was pretty good too. Got the hot honey on the side and the pizza tasted so good with it. Server was very nice and friendly!

    Tiramisu. So good and fresh!

Came back again and this is definitely still a go to spot. We decided to try some new flavors and they were so good. We got half Hawaiian and half chicken garlic. Both were so good! The owner is such a nice guy, we've been here a few times and he brought us a free dessert. Amazing food, great customer service, hard to not love this place!

This was the best thin crust pizza I have EVER had! The choices were great! The first time I tried the hot honey basil pepperoni/very good but a little sweet for me. Hubby tried the meat lovers pizza and Jalapeño poppers. I had a delicious Chianti! It was so good we went back, even tho we were only in town for a few days. This time I had a "build your own" with pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives, basil and grilled eggplant! I had a "moment" with my pizza and Chianti and wished we were staying longer so I could get this combination again! Not only was the food excellent, but the service was too! Great spot! Felt like family while there! Dog friendly patio Yum!!

Now this is what I call a hidden gem. A couple of blocks out of the buzzing ocean ave, there is this place. Compared to the pricey options on ocean ave, this was very affordable. It is right across a public parking lot. The service was excellent, the server was super accommodating and adjusting. It's a nice corner spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Not too loud and the outdoor was a nice cozy place. We got the personal garlic chicken pizza, and it was very delicious. The portion of chicken on the pizza was generous and it was very filling. For the price it was worth it. Would definitely come back here when I'm in Carmel.

    Prosciutto Pizza

Our party of four came in for lunch on a Saturday. Everyone loved their pizza. I ordered the prosciutto pizza, and it was delicious. I especially loved the thin crust, which was cooked perfectly. The service was great, and everything came out smoothly even with our group. There's also plenty of seating, which is good for both small and large parties. It's also located not too far from the main downtown area in Carmel, which makes it a great stop if you're already nearby.

Margarita Pizza and Garlic Chicken Pizza

9.5/10 Absolutely amazing pizza!!! Ordered the Margherita Pizza and the Garlic Chicken Pizza. Starting with the Margherita, a true classic done right. Topped with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil, it was simple, balanced, and executed perfectly. Each bite tasted fresh and authentic, exactly what you want from a Margherita. Definitely a must-order. The Garlic Chicken Pizza was the standout. Made with white garlic sauce, mozzarella, grilled chicken, tomato, mushrooms, and oregano, everything worked really well together. The chicken portion was generous, which I appreciated, and the garlic flavor was just right, not overpowering, just a subtle hint that complemented the rest of the toppings. The white sauce was also well-balanced and evenly spread. The real highlight, though, was the crust. Thin, perfectly cooked, and crispy with every bite, easily one of the best parts of the meal. Service was solid and efficient, with food coming out quickly. The ambiance was great as well, we sat outside on a beautiful day, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, an excellent pizza spot I'd definitely come back to. Top three pizza i've had in Monterey County without a doubt. So far #1

This place lives up to its name! The pizza here was so good. The dough was so thin but strong enough to hold its shape when you pick it up. The crust was crispy. The sauce was perfectly seasoned. The salad was also very good. Great dressing. Very fresh ingredients. Very well priced. Outdoor seating is dog friendly. Not a lot of seating so there's usually a wait.

Ordered a margarita pizza and six wings for take out. Both were very tasty! Took about 20-25 minutes for our order to be ready from when we ordered. They also have seating indoors and outdoors for those that want to have a sit down meal.

    Smoked salmon personal pizza
    Daniel S.

4.25 stars. $22 Smoked salmon pizza, personal size: it was delicious. White sauce with smoked salmon and capers. I added a bunch of pepper flakes. I basically ordered the most unusual thing on their menu just to see how it was handled. And I'd say it was an inside the park home run. The salt was juuust starting to build up to something untenable with the last slice, but it was nothing a good long drink from my glass couldn't fix. I'm inclined to think the business name isn't a total fabrication. Would eat again.

    Veggie and pepperoni pizza

WOW. Absolutely amazing staff. Nice atmosphere. And the veggies and pepperoni pizza was delicious. Oh and the wings SO GOOD!!

    Brandy D.

The pizza was amazing and I'm glad because I circled the block for literally 45 minutes to find parking and ended up down the road pretty far with a walk but it was worth it. I ordered to go, the staff was SO friendly. I wish I could remember the guys name that helped me, he was so so kind and even recommended other good eats near by for my trip. I got the pepperoni hot honey, so good! Risk the parking hassle and get the pizza!

I visited this pizza place for the first time, and had a really nice overall experience. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was friendly and attentive everything came out in a reasonable time, we order two medium exotic pizzas and cheese bread. Fresh and well made you could tell the ingredients were high quality best pizza I ever had, great spot if your'e in the area and want a casual meal after exploring Carmel truly made for pizza lovers. The staff Marcó and Casie were very nice amazing service, I will be coming back.

Anyone know if the wings are gluten free?

Not 100% but since they are prepared around the pizza oven, I would not recommend getting wings

How large is family size pizza?

I dont know how big, but 2 slices/person. We ordered that and fries and we were good. Family of 4 (kid of 6 and 9).

Hi ! Is this the same pizza restaurant that use to be called Little Pizza Heaven ? We got their pizza all the time throughout the 80's and 90's. Hope it is :-) and thanks !

A quick pivot to change our lunch plans while on holiday in Carmel, CA: ended up being really great…read morefor our party of three. Founded in Monterey in 2014, Alvarado Street Brewery expanded its production and its restaurants to meet demand. This location in the Carmel Plaza Shopping Center opened in 2018, and they do produce beer here, though their main production and canning happens at their original Monterey and expanded Salinas plants. They also have a new beer garden at the new soccer stadium in Marina. We waited around at the mall until it opened at 11:30. Service was excellent all-around, with us being seated right away, and our server, Ian, providing some top-notch recommendations for both food and beer. I asked him about their flights, which were the standard 5 oz pours, and individually priced. But he mentioned that if I ordered their promotional deal (in this case, their Korean-style loco moco), it would come with a flight of their 4 core beers. He had me sold as soon as he said 'loco moco'. Everything came out on-time, and served at the right temperature as appropriate. 4 beer flight (included with loco moco plate) - flagship Monterey Beer (American Light Lager, brewed at their Salinas plant); Pilsner (German-style Pilsner, also brewed at their Salinas plant); Mai Tai (American IPA, Salinas); Howzit Punch (fruited sour, modeled after Hawaiian POG). All of the beers were really good. with the Howzit being the most liked, not only on principle (we really love Hawaii) but also on taste. Korean-Style Loco Moco ($25) - when told that the white rice on a traditional loco moco was being replaced by kimchi fried rice, my original reaction was 'Dang...why didn't I think of that'. It was a beautiful looking dish, for sure. In terms of taste, just OK. The rice wasn't great, and the hamburger patty was OK (a bit dry). But the over-easy egg added a nice level of richness and the gravy fit the dish. The strips of gim (seaweed sheets) was a great touch and appreciated. Roasted Drunken Half Chicken ($33) - another great looking dish: a cut up half chicken with a ton of crisping done on the skin. It came with two dipping sauces (a bbq and a butter based), along with pickled vegetables on the side, and a jalapeno biscuit. My wife loved the biscuit and didn't need the extra butter. The chicken looked dry though, and she confirmed it. The dark meat was OK, but the white meat was very dry, confirming that one needs to use the bbq sauce and the pickled vegetables to counteract that. Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich ($20) - my mother-in-law loved this, and she proved it by eating it all (though it could have something to do with all the walking we did in the morning). I enjoyed the fresh cole slaw (tart with a nice mix of vegetables). And all of us really enjoyed the fries...again proving that food service frozen fries can be marvelous if deep fried (and served) properly. My wife and I both agreed that the Mai Tai PA and Howzit Punch were really good and worth bringing back home so got a 4-pack of each ($16 each). Haven't had a chance to try it at home yet, but will do so when wanting to remember our trip.

We specifically chose this place because it advertised itself as dog-friendly. When we arrived, the game had already started, and the bar was nearly empty. Since it was open seating, we chose the best available table to watch the match. It was a table for six, and the waitress asked us to move to a smaller table in case a larger group arrived. That seemed reasonable, so we moved without any issue. Another server took our order, and everything was fine throughout the first half of the game. A little later, two other customers came in and sat at the same six-person table we had originally chosen. They were also asked to move for the same reason. Instead of moving, they simply left. At this point, the bar was still almost empty on a Wednesday morning. At halftime, we noticed a completely empty patio with a two-person table that offered an even better view of the game, so we moved there. Unfortunately, our service was then taken over by the original waitress. When she approached our table with the wrong order, she came up abruptly and startled our elderly dog, who barked. Rather than apologizing or correcting the order, she immediately told us that if other guests arrived, we would have to leave. Looking around at the nearly empty restaurant, I replied that it didn't seem like anyone else was coming. Instead of bringing us the correct order, she brought us the bill. The experience left us feeling like hypothetical future customers were valued more than the guests who were actually there enjoying a meal and drinks. It was a disappointing experience, especially at a business that advertises itself as dog-friendly and an official World Cup viewing venue.
