They have heat lamps which was nice! They have so many options, I'm glad they allow for half and halfs! We got one half Pepperoni Hot Honey and the other half Garlic Chicken. Would recommend trying a red sauce and white sauce so you can experience both. Honestly can't choose a favorite because they were both really good! The garlic chicken was more rich, I like that they didn't go overboard with the white sauce (I feel like that's the case for a lot of white pies). The pepperoni was nice and crunchy and they were generous with the hot honey. I loved how for both pizzas, they sprinkled greens on top. Really added a pop of freshness to the pizza! Lastly, I like how they didn't go overboard with the toppings. A lot of places will pack it on and the pizza becomes soggy and falls apart when you eat it. After experiencing a gorgeous Carmel by the Sea sunset, my girlfriend & I were able to grab a seat at this local slice of Pizza Heaven right before closing. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff, most especially AJ! We chose to sit inside after having the option of grabbing the last table inside or out. The establishment is about the size of a small home providing an intimate experience. Expect a wait time of 45mins- 1hr. if you come during a rush due to the amount they can accommodate. We started off with their Caesar salad which was delicious and just how I like it: Not too vinegary with that velvety flavor texture from the mixture of Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, the crunch of croutons, & love. As our main we ordered their Prosciutto Pizza & hot damn was this delicious! It consisted of: White Sauce, thinly & savory sliced Prosciutto, arugula, & olive oil. We chose their personal size pizza which was about 16" & serves 6 slices. Note that these slices are incredibly cracker thin but none the less flavorful. We washed this all down with not just Coke, but Mexican Coca Cola. Currently drooling just describing this to you. My friends and I found this online and thought we'd give it try. When we walked in we got sat and things were going well. Not even 2-3 minutes in our server is asking us what we wanted and we didn't feel like taking his time up so we ordered a hawaiian pizza. A classic flavor. Eventually we asked for straws and he gave us a whole cup of straws and we're like okay. he eventually came back to pick the cup of straws and never checked back since then. 3 tables eventually came in and got sat and ordered 10-15 minutes after us. We were fine until the other tables were constantly getting checked on and even having good conversations with the servers meanwhile we were never checked on since then and my friend never got a refill on water while others were getting refills on wine and beer. We were already a bit let down and then, every other table sat after us who also ordered after us got all their pizzas, drinks, and appetizers while we still had nothing. we waited a bit more until we decided to ask for an update and the server left and never came back. we then asked another server kindly for an update and he said they were backed up on "to-go's" which still made no sense why others had great service and food before us. we eventually got our food and when we saw the pizza we were disappointed. The pizza was burnt on the edges and the toppings were burnt on top but somehow, the middle and inside was basically raw. We could tell the pizza was rushed and came to the conclusion that they forgot our order. We asked a server about it and their answer was "that's how they come out" and pointed to other tables and it was quite evident that this isn't how they come out. everyone else's pizza wasn't burnt like ours. He offered us another pizza "if we wanted" which by then we were just upset about the situation. Overall, this was not a good experience and it felt as if there was a stigma around us cause we were "young" but as a server myself, i know how the service industry works. It was upsetting because our actual server knew he was wrong and decided to avoid the situation and instead made it seem like we were asking for a lot. If they handled the situation differently this would have been a much different outcome but it's just upsetting watching other servers act like that especially in front of the manager we assumed was also ignoring us.
