After a park day, my daughter's friend's family suggested we grab a bite here, and I happily invited myself along. Let's just say I'll definitely be back! I honestly didn't know what to expect. I was preparing myself for some bland, unseasoned chicken, but wow I was completely wrong. These wings are packed with flavor. I ordered my favorite, the lemon pepper wings with blue cheese dressing, and they were absolutely delicious. The wings were a great size, juicy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. For my four-year-old daughter, I kept it simple and ordered the baby nuggets without the toppings. They came with a basket of fries, and she loved every bite. They also have self-serve flavored lemonade, which was a huge hit. She chose strawberry, and I completely fell in love with the mango lemonade. The restaurant is located right next to Chicken Maison, and I believe they may be sister companies because the bags had the Chicken Maison logo on them. I've had Chicken Maison catered at work before and loved it, so that made perfect sense. There are still so many things I want to try. The mango habanero wings are definitely next on my list, and honestly, I may end up working my way through every flavor. They also serve chicken and waffles all day, along with chicken tenders and kid-friendly options. We dined inside on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was pleasant, there was plenty of parking, outdoor seating available, and my daughter and her friend had a great time. The name says "Top Tenders," and after my first visit, I can confidently say they earned that title. The fact that they're within walking distance of my house might become a real problem for me! If you're looking for flavorful wings, fresh chicken tenders, or a family-friendly spot to grab a meal, check this place out immediately.

On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

Ok, So, I went here very hungry and just expected to much. If you count ordering a pizza that has a picture and states," KIng Authur's Surpreme" high expectations. We asked the pimpled faced Blondy, what was on the pizza because onions are not of our choice. She said onions we not included and we proceeded to order the supreme with extra cheese. "BEHOLD your majesty." Starving as hell and we open the box to see a pizza with just cheese. "HELLOooooo," How can something so easy with a picture be so difficult. SO, we got the manager and he is "Hispanic". Could barely understand him but, I do know one thing. He was not going to give the supreme to us for the price of the cheese pizza. If I was the owner I would have kicked his but to lose money instead of a few dollars. We walked out with our money and went to the Cheesecake factory. I stopped by Round Table Pizza in Redondo Beach for a quick bite and ordered a personal pizza--let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with just the right amount of chew. The sauce had a great balance of tangy and savory, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Definitely one of the best personal pizzas I've had! On top of that, the customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made sure my order was just right. Even though it was a busy time, they handled everything efficiently and with a smile. It's always great to see a team that genuinely cares about their customers. I had a great experience at Round Table Pizza! The food was fresh and delicious--especially the pizza, which had the perfect balance of crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. The service was excellent too; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Whenever I need to satisfy my pizza tooth I come here. All the pizzas I've had here taste good. During Lent season I usually stop by after work on Friday's and pick up a veggie pizza. But when it's not, I have pretty much everything. They have a salad bar that's single serve or all you can eat, alcohol, some video games and skill games. This place has consistently provided superb service and high quality food. Never had a poor or average experience. Today was no different. When my wife and I walked into the restaurant, it was packed. However, we were seated immediately. Not long afterwards, a pleasant server came over, introduced himself as Dylan, and took our order of drinks. The wife ordered a Coke while I ordered the Bellini Peach-Raspberry Iced Tea. Dylan brought out our drinks within a couple minutes. He then took the rest our order. We both ordered the usual, the Tour of Italy, which comes with Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna, and Fettuccine Alfredo and your choice of soup or salad (we both got the salad). I substituted the Chicken Parmigiana for an extra slice of Lasagna. For an appetizer, we ordered the Lasagna Fritter. The food came out incredibly fast. Within 10 minutes, we had our salad, appetizer, and entrees on our table. I really like the food here. It's like comfort food to me. I like the bread sticks that come out piping hot. I especially like the lasagna. It's flavorful, but not in an over the top way, and has a remarkably solid structure. What I mean by "solid structure" is that you can cut through it with a fork and it doesn't fall apart. It maintains its form. Before I move on to my thoughts on dessert, I should mention that the Lasagna Fritter was on point. Never tried it before, but was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. I think that the best part about it was the crispiness of it. For dessert, we tried out the Layered Chocolate Lasagna for the first time. Man, this thing was delicious! Looking at it, you would think it's overly rich and sweet. It's not. It reminds me of a slice of Chocolate Parisian Cake at Porto's except with a subtle cookie crunch at the very bottom of it. Circling briefly back to the service. I have to give a shoutout to Dylan for being attentive and to the pink shirted woman with the headset (maybe she's a manager?-she had on a different colored shirt from the servers) for stopping by, making sure everything was okay, and refilling my drink despite it being very busy. I appreciate it when an establishment has management level staff patrolling the dining area, making sure customer needs are being met. It shows that the restaurant values customer service, not just delivering great food. If you're looking for pretentious, elevated Italian cuisine, obviously this isn't the place for you. I think this place should be judged for what it offers. Great food, and friendly service at a reasonable price. If you do, you'll probably leave this place very satisfied.

My partner and I got exceptional service from Cynthia (I hope I remembered the name correctly). She took care of us from the beginning to the end, delivering exceptional service! She introduced herself, was loud and clear, checked on us many times, and offered to refill our bottomless items. It was clear that she cared about our experience. Cynthia left a strong positive impression on us (and by extension, this location as well). We felt appreciated as a customer! This is an exemplar example of what I'd expect when dining out. If only we could get this experience everywhere, I wouldn't hesitate to tip high and leave a positive review! We'll definitely be back. Thanks again and keep up the great work! Now, one of the big reasons you come to Red Robin is for the bottomless french fries with the tasty seasoning, but thats also the main reason this trip kind of sucked. Once our food was served, we gobbled the first plate of french fries up pretty quickly and immediately asked for some refills that didn't come for 45 minutes.......you read that right, 45 minutes for two small plates that maybe had 15 fries on them a piece. Needless to say, we tapped out out of frustration and just paid and left. Overall, you generally know what you are getting when you come to a chain like Red Robin and you are here exactly for those things. The food was just as solid as it always was, but the lack of service which appeared to be from the kitchen instead of our waitress was a huge disappointment and left us not caring to return to this location in the future. But hey, Red Robin is still Red Robin so if you want it, it's here.
