Hands down one of the best pizzas around, never stingy with toppings or cheese, these pizzas come loaded with toppings, my only complaint would be that recently they have been out of the primo pepperoni's ( the little crispy ones) which they should be discounting because we're paying for it and not receiving it. Also when you ask for a double topping of the same ingredient they dont really add any extra so you have to either emphasize it when you order it or complain after the fact and let them know they didn't put extra. Apart from that the pizzas are delicious and the wings are great too. But please order more primo pepperoni's and put more toppings when it's a double topping so the customer doesn't feel ripped off, because we are paying for it. read more

I love Round Table Pizza's ZESTY SAUCE !!! It's a tad more expensive (comparatively to local pizzarias like Valentino's or chain spots like Dominio's, Shakey's, Papa Johns, Fresh Brothers, Little Caesar's) if you don't have a coupon 'tho, and I sort of categorize Round Table as one of those places that "over coupons" meaning the regular price is high for those who come in on impulse, but because they distribute coupons so often, the majority of customers have the special offers which then adjusts the prices to a more reasonable mark. The coupons offer fabulous deals on larger and multiple pizzas. So, if you're a single person, you're going to have leftovers, if you have friends, family or throwing a get together, this is perfect pricing and portions. Other stores that over coupon (via junk mail circular ads) in the South Bay in my opinion are: Bed, Bath & Beyond; Black Angus; Carl's Jr; Jack in the Box; and Burger King. It's not a bad think, I know it's marketing and promotion, but it's just an observation. I know over-couponing can have negative repercussions where nobody patronizes an establishment without a coupon, and it's anticipated or expected weekly or monthly to come in the mail. I love their Linguicia and their Sausage. I recommend the regular crust which is thin enough and substantial enough. At one time Round Table back in the 80's used to offer "extra sauce" for free on any pizza (maybe they still do), and thinking nostalgically they also had a kick-ass menu item called "PizzaTatoes" which were potato skins with the Round Table sauce and mozzarella cheese with one topping... that was so so so good... I hope they bring that back (I think RT is a franchise with individual ownership, so maybe it is available at select locations) There's 2 RT's in the area, this one on Redondo Beach Blvd @ Hawthorne; and the other one is on PCH when it turns into Sepulveda @ around Artesia Blvd, between the Redondo/Hermosa/Manhattan Beach area. They're both equally as good. FYI - - If you are single and want to optimize, here's a TIP... get the large pizza or any size you want and know you can't finish. Let the pizza cool down, then wrap each slice you don't finish in cellophane / saran wrap or aluminum foil, and FREEZE it. Try to keep 'em air-tight. Then when you want 'em, the night before, just put it in the fridge to thaw out, then put it in the TOASTER OVEN (or regular oven), don't microwave it... and in 5 minutes or so at 300 degrees or so, you'll have a hot fresh crispy slice... read more

When I wanted to find out about their birthday pizza given to people of their loyalty club employee at this one, promptly gave me the info which took less than a minute. The owner/manager of the other one on PCH, just put me on hold for over twenty minutes TWICE and never answered, guess, he hated participating in that program and wanted to show it (so punished people) by making them hold, wanting them to go somewhere else. So do that and reward the people who values you as a customer and ALWAYS go to this one. They close earlier than the other one, so if they are closed when you want your pizza, either wait until tomorrow, go to a local chain or if you want a chain pizza go to Dominos but do NOT go the other RT on PCH. read more

Actually, round table has been one of my favorite of the chain style pizza places. It has that old shakey's vibe. What i like is the plain style pizza crust which you never hardly see anymore. The toppings are usually pretty tasty and everything just tastes like what a pizza should taste like. I've been getting the personal pan special which is like 8.75 with tax but comes with a 16oz pepsi or diet pepsi. I like the pan because again, it's not the oily crust of most pan pizzas. It's not as pan-like as others but i think it's great. The workers are always friendly and with good service. Finally, what i like is they still give you packets of red peppers and parmesan. While all the other chains now charge you for a big bottle of it, you can still get a few packs free. That is what i like, and that's how it should be. I hosted some friends at The Cave this past Saturday to watch the UFC. Main event: BJ Penn vs Georges St. Pierre. I never thought I would see Penn get his ass handed to him as bad as he did, but that's another story. I took a poll of what people wanted and Picsa and wings seemed to be the deal... So, I didn't really want PH, PJ's, or D's and went to somewhere I had not been to in a looooooooooooong time. I must say they are as good as I remembered. I ordered their "thin" crust, their regular crust, and an order of twelve wings. 15 minute turn around for pick up time, and everything was perfect!! They can improve on the vibe at this location. It's nothing like the Lakewood one. It's really quiet if your just with your party. The TV is mute basically and it's really really awkward getting up to get more soda or salad. Everything looks older and dimmer then the Lakewood location too. The pizza was good! First off, the pizza is great. That's the reason we've been ordering for 5 years from here. The problem is the owner., "Hassan", Hassan, I guess you feel since you own the place that you can treat customers like you don't need them. Well, WE are the reason you are able to make a living from Roundtable. Have you ever ate at a place and the food was delicious but the customer service was horrific? Made the food taste bad right? Well, This was my experience. Here's the long and short. A few months ago, Hassan took my order and it arrived incorrect. What do companies do when they mess up? Well, they make things right. Instead, Hassan accuses me of ordering incorrect. Haha WTF?! This guys arrogance is unbelievable. After he insults me, he then says "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" Ummm, give me the correct order maybe? Give me a credit for the next order maybe? Refund me for my order maybe? Wow, look Hassan I just came up with a few reasonable fixes. But then again maybe I should mention that for me, I used to manage a Fortune 500 companies entire consumer affairs department for the United States. Does it take this much experience to come up with what most would feel is just common sense? No. I digress. So then Hassan says "I'll give you 10% off your next order." I refused his 10% off offer, and laughed. After a bit of arguing with him, he agreed to 25% off. After going back n forth, I just gave up on giving him the opportunity to make it right and I ended the call. So, a month or so later I ordered again. Came to pick up a couple pizzas and found out that Hassan did 30% off. Haha wow I still wasn't impressed at all. Fast forward a few months later and at least a few pizza orders later. I ordered a pizza for delivery. Now some would say why are you still ordering from there? Simple, the pizza is good. Anyway, I ordered, Salami and Olives for the wife. When the order arrived. Boom, incorrect, it was Salami and Pepperoni. No big deal, unfortunately round table was now closed. I called the next day. Hassan answers and I say (politely) "hello, I'm calling because we received our order incorrect last night." He took my phone number and then replied "OH NO, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME YOU'RE DOING THIS!!!I I DON'T WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU ANYMORE!" Hahahahaha hahahahaha!!! Is this guy for real? What a joke. Hassan, I should've been the one yelling at YOU saying that this was the second time this has happened. Are you accusing me of trying to "come up" on a $20 pizza? There is a fair share of young children here, but you're at a pizza place for crying out loud. What do you expect? This isn't the Olive Garden people. It is expensive though, but you get what you paid for. I think it's 3 times better than any other pizza so I'm willing to pay 3x more.
