We love the pizza and pasta at South Bay Pizza. Our favorite is any of their pastas. Their chicken alfredo is our favorite, but we also love their chicken carbonara and their Italian sausage pasta. It is all really good. We picked up our order this time and it was perfect. It took minutes to heat up. We would have loved to dine there, it is so cute and clean, but we just did not have time. We also think their service is excellent. I love it when a to go order is exactly as ordered and I don't have to open everything first to check it. The staff is very nice. The prices are fair. Really enjoyed their plant based pizza. Would definitely come back again some time. The interior is really best for only pick up and maybe 2 people can chill and eat there. It does have some cool arcade games but they were unplugged. Service was helpful! Would like to see them offer a loyalty programs and a check in offer for people who leave a first time review. I was craving pizza and this place popped up on Yelp for me so my husband and I popped in after we placed an order over the phone (their website charges a $1 processing fee). They have parking conveniently in front of their pizzeria. We walked in right as Luis took our pizza out of the oven. He was very friendly and cordial when we picked up the pizza and after we devoured the pizza! He took our empty pizza box once we were done stuffing our faces. The MVP pizza was... spectacular! The crust was crunchy, the added pepperoni had crispy edges and my husband and I love saucy pizzas and this one definitely delivered! It quickly made it to my top 3 pizzas I've ever had! Terrible! Don't Eat!!! We ordered a 16" pizza, cinnamon knots, and a salad. First off, the whole order was $50+. We showed up and there was not really a welcome, more of a look. The pizza we picked up was cold and tasted like trash. The dough was super chewy and didn't seemed to be cooked properly. The ingredients tasted old and lacked flavor. I'm not sure how they cut their pizzas, but the pizza we received looked to be "cut" by someone who was blindfolded. The lines didn't line up with our half and half pizza, and the slices were not even close to being uniform. Some of the cuts weren't cuts but more indents on the pizza. Plus there were 2 random mushroom pieces on a pizza that didn't have mushrooms. The cinnamon knots were burnt beyond being edible, and the flavoring that they put on the knots tasted terrible. The only thing good was the frosting that's probably pre made. It was so bad, we stopped eating. Didn't even open the salad as we had to trash 90% of the order. Redondo also has a lot of banger spots. The pizza here is amazing too. The pepperoni pizza with chicken is what I got and it was spectacular. Had just the right amount of cheese. What's funny was I placed this order on uber and I came to pick it up. But then a dude came and just gave the pizza to me without even asking or seeing me for the order confirmation. Bro maybe had a tracker or something lol. But it sounds dangerous, some people can fake some orders and get free food and that's messed up for the business and the customers. South Bay Pizza is unbelievably good! Truly the biggest hidden gem of the South Bay, even if it wasn't for their amazing tasting pizzas & salads, their service is next level! I went in and was a little disappointed initially to find out they didn't have slices (since I wanted to try a few options for their specialty pizzas), but every pizza seems to be pretty great here. On the service side, the gentlemen working there heard us talking about how it's our first time and we wanted to try some slices, but they didn't have them, so he gave us a free upgrade on the pizza size, we didn't know until we picked it up when it was ready and he told us he wanted us to have leftovers and a good experience. The vibe is pretty cool, but there's not much seating except for two small tables outside with 2 seats each. It also has a nice little parking lot, so that was a pleasant surprise. Fresh off a trip from gloomy but beautiful Chicago, I had planned a beach trip for my family and friends this weekend. Due to jetlag, rather than bring coolers of food, I decided to order some 'za for everyone and was able to find this highly rated pizza shop right near Torrance Beach. Made a call and found out that they routinely deliver to customers near the beach, which was such a stroke of luck to find. We ordered 3 pizzas, (2) hot honey pepporoni and (1) hawaiian pizza (real Pizza lovers know that this is the most GOAT pizza combo you can get due to how the pineapple pears with the sweet and spicy flavor). Delivery was quick (35min) and Luis (the owner), the person taking our order, was so helpful in how they worked with me on finalizing the pickup location for the pizza. Pizza arrived quickly and straight out the oven so it was piping hot. I'm am avid pizza lover and literally less than 24 hours from arriving back to LA after spending a week in Chicago and eating nothing but Pizza at least once a day over there, i can honestely say this is one of the best pizza spots I've ever eaten. Easily one of the best pizza in all of Socal & right up there with some of the best spots in Chi City. I honestly have a hard time remembering a Socal pizza shop that I would even consider better than what i experienced yesterday. If you're ever in Torrance or at the nearby Beaches, you're doing yourself a disservice by not trying this place out and ordering some deliciously premium pizza. Ok so the flavor was amazing and we were excited to find a yummy pizza place nearby, BUT something didn't agree with my husband and my stomachs. I have a pretty strong stomach and a good digestion system so I was surprised to be so bloated after eating the pizza and garlic knots. I absolutely love finding local hole in the wall, this is my first time at southbay pizza and the guy that was at the register was so helpful and very nice . I got their large pepperoni pizza and some Thai wing and they both complement each other very well. The best part is that the pizza is not grease and it only took them to freshly prepared it in less then 20 min. There is only about two seating so it would be best to keep the part at 4 and less.
