My friend and I stopped in for lunch. We had a pretty good experience. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The service was great, and the food was good. I'll be back again.

Rounder's stole my close-to-home bar soul! When you walk into Rounders, there are two entrance doors - one for dining, and the other for the bar. On my particular visit, the dining area was closed, so straight into the bar I went! First impression was: this is just your average local bar - overly loud music, the "regulars", and the smell of cigarette smoke that fill your lungs. The seats at the bar are pretty limited. I came in search of a leisurely keno machine, but to my avail, there were none available. We ended up at a bar top table. After reading through reviews, I decided to get the ribeye. No regrets! It was cooked perfectly - better than I've had at a lot of places. The potatoes were super good too! As for the shrimp tacos, I'd say they were average. The flavor was okay and the shrimp wasn't overcooked. But on a more important note, the molten lava cake. Yelpers - it was delicious. I'm a dessert type of girl. The chocolate & caramel drizzle were a great touch. Service was a little slow and the waitress took awhile to take our order. But at the end of they day, our food stood out on it's own. Rounder's certainly exceeded my expectations. I'll be back for more ribeye!

Rounders is our go-to restaurant--it's just the best! This review is for the Blue Diamond & Buffalo location. Rounders has a separate bar and dining area, which we love since we can be out of the smoky bar environment and we prefer that. Although we don't have young children, the restaurant side is very family friendly (including a kids menu). There are about 12 booths, a few high tops, and probably four to six four-top tables. They have four tvs in each of the corners of the restaurant so you can watch your favorite game. They have amazing food! Their menu consistently offers surprisingly diverse choices--small plates & starters, burgers, salads, pasta, hearty sandwiches and more. They also offer gluten free items. They have a couple of happy hours 2pm-6pm and Midnight-2am with discounted drinks and a selection of half-price appetizers. Their weekly specials are always something delicious with a beef offering (usually prime rib on Fridays) and a fish offering, from salmon to halibut to scallops. The chef does a really good job in offering variety and serving it with great presentation and it's always tasty! All their soups are made from scratch and fantastic. In addition, you just can't beat a Rounder's burger...excellent beef and a nice choice of sides. One of our favorites is their homemade chips served with a yummy dip. The appetizers selection is also super too. The desserts are completely decadent, which is what you want in a dessert, right?!? The molten chocolate cake is melt-in-your-mouth amazing! Last but not least, the server staff, chef & kitchen staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The customer's wants and needs are taken into consideration and they deliver! Do yourself a favor...head over to Rounders for delicious food & drink!

First of all if you do not like smoke don't come here. Second of all if you are a diner or parent who can tolerate it in a separate room then you will be surprised how great the food is here. Rounders is a amazing bar with amazing food! They also have a separate dining room which is great for families. Every time I ask my kid (who's 7 now) where she wants to go for dinner she says Rounders... The staff is great no matter how busy they are they try their hardest to make sure it is perfect. My husband and I have been going to rounders bars for about 15 years now... For gambling and drinking only. When we had a child it got hard trying to find places that we could have a sit-down dinner and practice with her manners. This became the automatic favorite instead of the typical McDonald's or other fast food option for a small child. When it is just my husband and I we enjoy going to the bar playing keno and getting appetizers and our drink on!!!! Porter, Girly and Sasha are amazing bartenders who always try to work the entire bar making sure everyone is happy. As far as the restaurant goes, the server-staff is over flow from the bar. Don't forget to be patient with them as they are still serving food for the entire place. Being regulars they always treat us amazing. As far as the menu goes they have everything from apps, specials of the day and a really good chef who continues to add something extra special every couple months to change it up. Lastly, don't forget about the happy hour specials which are awesome. They have this huge pretzel that will truly blow your mind! Potstickers?-Yep, they got em. Nachos and wings? But of course! Honestly we've tried other little hole in the Wall's around our neighborhood and this by far is the best!

After a girls night in we decided we needed a little girls night OUT time. We hit the bar and started gaming and drinking. Our bartender was VERY nice... we didn't win ANY money that night and she comp'd us some food for our loss! We ordered the BBQ Chicken Flat bread. VERY cheesey. Like VERY. It was good though! Nice neighborhood bar with a friendly staff!!

Also, I got the smash burger and it was really good, I ended up swapping out the brioche bun for the sourdough and it was absolutely delicious. And then I got a Caesar salad. Yum! But let's get straight to the issue- the HOSPITALITY! I don't like being negative- I want local businesses to thrive and reach more people, but I need to add this bit of criticism- Lately, coming here feels like you're rolling the dice- and going out to eat and being treated well shouldn't have to feel like a gamble. When I dine here, I don't feel welcome. The bartenders make it clear that they cater to some regulars more than others. It takes the bartender half an hour to get us started with drinks and a menu to look at the food. It's crazy- I come here so often know some of this establishment's staff by name now and yet, I'm met with this recent disservice- The other night I arrive here with my girlfriend to grab some food around 1 am. I see the bartender, Ryan, zooming around, refilling beer and shots, going in and out of the kitchen. It's not that busy of a Friday night- maybe a handful of couples and groups all sitting at the bar. He passed SEVERAL times by me, no acknowledgement, no "Hey, bear with me, I'll be right with ya." 1:30. He finally comes to us apologizing, gets us started on drinks and hands us the menu. We take a couple of minutes to decide. He stands around by the Pos and talks to another bartender (Andrew I think?), who came from the kitchen, then immediately left. Another 10-15 minutes pass. By this point, I was wondering if I should just walk out. Finally, Ryan comes to take our orders. Typically, a server or bartender leads the conversation, right? I'm sure you hear things like "what can I get started for you," or "how would you like your eggs cooked" or "how would you like your Steak cooked" - You've all heard those before, right? Well- nothing. No cue. No asking anything. It felt awkward. Uncomfortable. Unwelcoming. I don't even know if he was paying attention. At one point, it was ME who was the one asking my girlfriend "How do you want your eggs cooked?" when she asked to get the Steak and Eggs because there was ZERO response coming from our bartender to anything we said. The energy felt COMPLETELY off, so I just asked then and there for the check and left off to grab some Cane's instead. An absolutely dismal experience. I don't like making my reviews about me, but I felt like I needed to explain exactly why I'm upset about my recent visits here so anyone reading this can better understand instead of just reading a vague mention of how rude the staff was. Let's get to the Good Bar Bites I recommend if you do come here (maybe day time could give you a different experience): WSKY Burger- I recommend a medium on the patty! Very juicy- the crunch of the onion rings and candied bacon- One of my favorite burgers! Steakhouse sliders- tasty and sharable mini burgers! Although- I need some clarification- Can modifications be made to this dish? One day, while ordering over the phone, a bartender named Zach told me I cannot add an extra slider (I wanted 4 sliders instead of just the 3 that come on the order), I'd have to purchase two whole orders if I wanted more. What's this about? I've never had that issue before, so just curious. Flatbread Pizza- of course pizza is always awesome to munch on. The crunch on the flatbread is so satisfying I honestly don't think I'll be coming here anytime soon. It sucks. The bar looks beautiful, the food is delicious. But why have I been treated like an outsider lately? It's not worth going to a place, even if it has good food, if you're not going to be treated well.

I ordered the Reuben and spam musubi as an appetizer they were decent the prices were also standard I would have paid 20 or so but I had an LVA coupon which comped most of the meal. Gaming quality is as usual bad but unfortunately normal for most gaming bars which is less than 97% return video poker. At the very least the players club is good another Jett gaming run club which gives $20 free play as a welcome offer, points and various free plays promotions while actively playing. As far as the service goes it was good for the most part they took my coupon, made me a card, were attentive and changed the TV channel to the game I wanted to watch which I appreciated. It was just two things that rubbed me the wrong way. First when you cash out you don't get your cents on the ticket which I didn't want anyway but seems odd to not even ask. The second is I paid cash for my food bill in excess of what I owed the female bartender took it and said nothing to me just going to her other customers, I was still watching the game waiting for her to offer me my change but she never came back. I then told her I gave her $10 for what was a $4.50 bill or so and that I wanted her to keep the change as my tip anyway just making sure she hadn't accidentally locked it up then she asked "what do you want your $5 back?" In a condescending tone to which I said she could keep it but I wanted to make sure to tell her because she never said anything to me or even asked she just automatically took my change for her tip which is a very sleazy thing to do and made me feel like I was being hustled by this broad. I've never experienced that at any bar or restaurant the polite thing to do is at least ask. Overall it's an ok bar I believe there are a lot of better options even in that area but it wouldn't hurt to stop by. Personally I wouldn't visit again unless promotions and mailers made it worth it to do so.

Vibe: Sophisticated, Professional, and Energetic…read more For anyone looking to impress a client, close a deal, or celebrate a milestone with colleagues, finding the right venue for a business lunch can be a delicate balancing act. You need an environment that is sophisticated but not stuffy, lively but quiet enough for serious conversation, and supported by a culinary program that commands respect. The George Sportsmanship Lounge delivers on all of these fronts with remarkable grace, redefining what a modern business lunch can--and should--be. The Atmosphere: Polished Athletic Heritage Meets Executive Comfort Walking into George, you are immediately struck by how masterfully the design bridges the gap between a high-end club and a refined, modern lounge. The decor pays a tasteful, artistic homage to the spirit of "sportsmanship"--think rich leather banquettes, beautifully curated vintage sporting photography, warm walnut accents, and low, ambient lighting that feels incredibly exclusive. For a business lunch, the layout is exceptionally well-thought-out. The seating is spaced generously to offer genuine privacy for confidential conversations, and the acoustics are engineered beautifully; there is a vibrant hum of energy in the room, yet you never have to raise your voice to be heard across the table. It strikes the perfect balance of prestige and approachable comfort. The Food: A Masterclass in Contemporary American Cuisine While the ambiance sets the stage, the culinary execution is the true star of the show. The menu at George elevated our business lunch from a standard meeting into a memorable dining experience. We started with the Yellowtail Crudo, which was exceptionally fresh, accented with a vibrant citrus-yuzu vinaigrette and thinly sliced serrano peppers--a light, refreshing starter that perfectly primed the palate. For the mains, our table ordered the Dry-Aged Ribeye Frites and the Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass: The Ribeye: Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, the steak boasted an incredible crust and a rich, deeply savory flavor profile. Accompanied by truffle-infused hand-cut frites and a velvety chimichurri, it was a decadent but perfectly portioned lunch masterpiece. The Sea Bass: This dish was a revelation. Flaky, buttery, and resting on a bed of ginger-infused heirloom grains and baby bok choy, it was light enough for a midday meal while remaining deeply satisfying and complex in flavor. Even the non-alcoholic beverage program deserved applause; their mocktails, particularly the cucumber-basil press, were sophisticated and felt just as celebratory as a traditional cocktail. The Service: Impeccable, Swift, and Discreet Great food can easily be overshadowed by poor service, but at George, the staff understands the rhythm of a business lunch. From the moment we were greeted by the host, the service was seamless. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering precise recommendations and timing the courses beautifully. Crucially for a business meeting, the staff practiced "discreet hospitality"--they were highly attentive, ensuring water glasses were always filled and plates were cleared promptly, yet they never interrupted the flow of our conversation at critical moments. The entire meal was paced perfectly, wrapping up within a comfortable 75 minutes, leaving us plenty of time to return to the office without feeling rushed. The Verdict The George Sportsmanship Lounge successfully shatters the mold of the traditional, outdated steakhouse business lunch. By combining a stunningly curated, upscale atmosphere with world-class gastronomy and highly professional service, they have created the ultimate venue for the modern executive. It is a masterclass in hospitality, and it has easily secured its spot as my go-to recommendation for lunch meetings. Highly Recommended for: Client entertainment, executive team lunches, and power midday dining.

There's also a nice couch section with a round center table where I saw a group of friends enjoy their visit. If you're into sports, there's several televisions around the perimeter that provide good view of the action. As my first time here, the staff is very kind in explaining how the process works. I was told that you can enter your phone number and then it allows you to scan the QR code on the table for food. The alternative is to walk up to the front counter to order. I wanted to learn how to do this process so I tried. I added the food item to the cart on my phone but when it came to checkout, I was unsure how to proceed. It asked me to add a credit card, yet I already had one opened on file for my visit. I went back up to the front and the team member was unsure so we handled the entire food ordering up front. I put in an order for the chili nachos and the size was quite decent with a lot of toppings. It's a good shareable to start. I also tried the sweet potato fries which I asked for more well done to ensure that they come out with some crisp. The sweet potato fries were actually a waffle and they did come out nice, hot and crispy - so that is a winner of an app! The pour yourself concept is interesting and it's nice that each sign provides information about the content and more info if you tap the screen - such as the general beer taste description. The glass shelf has several options. I didn't see any cold glasses which would have been a plus. The staff member said that you can sample beers by just pouring a little, but there were no small shot glasses to do this. Therefore, I was compelled to just go for it and pour 3 ounces to try a light lager. Sitting back at the table, I was almost certain that a new glass would be required for each visit. However, I saw everyone bring their own glass back up to refill each time. I didn't see any clear signage on site that explained the process. If refills are allowed - then I think that additional signage should also explain pouring etiquette as well. There's a water station for self serve as well. I appreciate the lids and straws that are also at the station. I would have loved to have some ice readily available but I'm sure it's probably just an ask as I saw others have ice in their drinks. The pricing per ounce reminds me of a self serve yogurt place in that the amount you get actually feels more expensive in the end. The per ounce feel makes you think it's a good deal, but it's on par or a hair over other places that pour for you. Overall, I think this is a cool concept to try and to show out of town friends if they don't have anything like this in their area. Also - I can see this being a great place if friends are going dutch as they can use their own card and everyone is responsible for their share. Lastly, if you don't like to commit 16 oz to just one beer, this is a great way to try several beers in one sitting.

The guy working with her was the person who greeted me in a very friendly and welcoming manner. I didn't catch his name, but he was definitely a 5 Star Bar Tender. I was glad to hear that Madison will be working more Swing shifts, especially on Weekends. I actually had a birthday celebration planned at a different Distill, but may change it to this location. I've had the food at many locations. It's always on point, and I've never been disappointed. The ambiance is really nice. If you like sports there are plenty of TV's. They have pool tables. I highly recommend this bar. Great food, service with a smile, and great vibes. I'll be back

I've been a customer and fan of Distill-Southern Highlands since it opened in 2014…read more It legitimately has the best bar food in the city...and even in these times, they keep it affordable which I greatly appreciate . The staff and clientele are consistently positive with good energy. Even when I come here alone, I feel safe and respected. Jon (Bartender and also the Manager, I believe ) Is amazing. Super personable, present, and always handles every visit of my friends and mine like a boss. They also have an all-ages/smoke-free dining area. I had the best experience with my server, Lola the other night Super friendly and such a doll! Super happy to have Distill still thriving in our neighborhood!

We made a large order on DoorDash, and everything in the whole order was either wrong, not as…read moredescribed, overcooked, or just missing. We got the: -Tider Sliders; cooked medium: there were no onions, the patties were super dry and very well done, and 2 of them had no cheese and the one that did have cheese had this like sad, dried up slice of cheese on it. - Hangover Skillet; over medium eggs: there were no biscuits, the country fried steak was like finely chopped, the potatoes were glued together in one big glob of cheese. Like it was strange. And the eggs came scrambled. -Crab Cakes: came burnt to a black char, and served on this weird, somehow, both mushy and dry rice stuff. Like it wasn't a normal rice it was like a solid mush of rice that was like dried out. -Onion Rings: they didnt have an onion inside them. It was like a ring of onion flavored batter (??) and we didn't understand what was happening with that. -A sweet potato as a side: we were given sweet potato fries and not a sweet potato (there were also sweet potato fries on the menu but we didnt order the fries, we ordered the sweet potato. -French Onion Soup: missing completely - Macaroni Salad: it was orange?? And couldn't tell what it tasted like but it didn't taste good. -garlic bread: it was literally wet. Like wet. The sauce that came with the sweet potato fries was bomb and I am sad to not ever have that sauce again because we DEFINITELY wont ever get food from Flowing Tide Pub ever again.
