Kind of the perfect sports bar. Was looking for a place that had dodgers and found this place. Calamari is different than the standard rings but amazing! Happy hour is great, chili dog is legit, jameson shot sizes absurd. Wtf could you ask for? I've been here when it was Riley's, Mojo's, and now Roundin 3rd. Love the new set-up, love the ice cold beer on tap, and my sister loves the mimosas. We stopped in for a quick drink and dinner...and the food did not disappoint. Yumm! Tater Tots loaded with cheese and bacon bits, YES PLEASE. I had the most insane grilled cheese on texas toast with bacon and tomatoes *drool*. I took my dessert to go, so I failed to take a pic...but it was a combination chocolate chip cookie and brownie, with vanilla ice-cream. maybe ppl go here for a bar vibe because the food is bland and not too hot. normally bar food is good and comes out fresh but the fries were cold. "gourmet" burger was a frozen patty and they use bagged lettuce. MVP makes a better burger. if you're going for the food I suggest you don't. read more

Came in here flat sober and immediately spilled my first cocktail. The entire drink, all over the floor and seats. The staff didn't make me embarrassed. They quickly cleaned it up and replaced it for free. I can't say enough about the service! Not only was the drink excellent, but I stayed and ordered food. That was very good as well. I finally had the pleasure to try out this place as I've been meaning to for a while. I was quite impressed with my pleasant experience. My friend & I arrived at 3pm on a Thursday, just when the light lunch crowd was starting to leave. It was perfect since we arrived during happy hour. We were looking to do a few beers and have a pizza & some wings. Happy hour catered to our needs as all domestic pints were $3 and the mini pizzas (5" each) were $5. We got two individual pizzas for each of us, and then split an order of $6 happy hour wings (5 total buffalo wings). Everything tasted great, and our server was extremely nice and attentive. I do like the layout of this place with the wrap around U-shape bar and side tables/booths. The parking in the back was pretty open for us, but I'd imagine during busy times it would be difficult to find space. This seems like a perfect neighborhood staple if I lived in this area. We love this place. Geoffrey anf Karna are amazing. We have been there several times and will keep going. The food, service and prices are great. This last time we were in there for my bday and had a cinnamon toast shot recommend by Karna. Then the fish and chips to top it off and and few beers. The coleslaw was not sweet or too creamy, fish was fried to perfection and steak fries on the side were perfect. My husband got another pastrami with tator tots. Great sandwich and side. Very good food and nice servers. Southwestern burger, loaded tater tots, and pizza rolls were all delicious. The Spring Training Lemonade was also good, and strong. We were really disappointed in this place, especially considering the high ratings. It's a typical loud, long-in-the-tooth, neighborhood sports bar with decent service and typical happy hour specials, but my main consideration was their burgers, and that's all I cared about. Burgers are quite possibly, the perfect food. Simple, yet VERY easy to get wrong or ruin. Most burgers out there in eating establishments are mediocre, and rarely do you get one that is great...but when it's great, it's SUBLIME. Unfortunately, and much to my chagrin, this was far from it. I'm not going to get into all of the details of every issue I had with it, but will focus on the one the that is of utmost importance and arguably the most important aspect: the meat. You know that weird old cow flavor you get when ground beef is kind of old, been in the freezer or fridge too long or has been frozen and thawed one time too many? If you know what I'm talking about, you know it's funky, not fresh. That's what our burgers tasted like. And they had that weird color and texture that goes along with it, even though they were cooked medium. Besides the two bad beef burgers, one of our group had a turkey burger that she was also not excited about for the same main reason--the quality of the meat/patty. I don't know if the people who gave this 5 stars had the burger or were so buzzed that they don't know what they ate, or this place was just having a bad day, but I won't be back. Shame, because it's close and I was hoping for a good alternative. read more

What can I say...Food is bomb... especially the nachos and/or the buffalo chicken sandwich. Drinks are always stiff and beers are nice and cold. The servers here bust their arses non-stop to serve you. Tip them well, please! The owners Jeff and Karna are usually onsite and work the floor too. If anything is ever wrong, they will make it right. Been coming here for at least 3 years now and "Roundin' 3rd" is hands down the best and friendliest sports bar in town. P.S. Roundin' 3rd is the perfect place to pre-game before checking out the Dirtbags (Long Beach State's baseball team) down the street at Blair Field as it's just a 10 minute walk to the stadium. What used to be two narrow bars has been combined into one bar with top notch service, good happy hour pricing (until 6pm weekdays and 4pm weekends), a decent beer selection (including their own amber and pale ale), and good food. There are plenty of TVs and the staff is happy to accommodate you and turn the TV on to whatever sporting event you want to watch (Hello Dodgers!). The mushroom swiss burger was spot on with lots of chunky mushrooms, plenty of cheese, and a nice fat patty. Be sure to upgrade to the onion rings - thick cut and super crispy. read more

Great place to come watch a game and enjoy a drink and good food. They show sports games ranging from football, basketball and baseball to ufc fights. There are good sized tvs all around the bar so its easy to find a seat with a good view. The bartenders are really cool and friendly. The place is clean and organized. The food is good quality bar food. I usually opt for the fish n chips and or tater tots. Yum! Their grilled cheeses is also delicious. And, I'm not a meat eater, but the burgers look and smell so good. The happy hour specials are also good; drink and food items range from $3- $6. read more

My fiance and I came here to watch the Blues v. Sharks NHL playoff game since we were out in Long Beach on a weekday afternoon. The staff was very inviting and made sure that we took advantage of the happy hour specials. They personally made several recommendations and were very attentive to making sure we had what we needed for drinks and food. One of the bartenders working definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience by telling us about their made from scratch foods and several of the favorites that customers get. They had a good TV selection and a wide variety of sports on throughout the evening. My only suggestion would be putting on audio for a particular game rather than always having music playing. We called in advance to see if they could play audio for the hockey game, but they said they couldn't. read more

I'm starting to think that sports bars are where I should go to fill my burger and pulled pork cravings. Not specialty restaurants. Not barbecue places. Sports bars. I loved my BBQ pulled pork sliders here, and the fries were skinny, burning hot, and crunchy, just as they should be. The coleslaw that came in the burger wasn't too mayo-heavy and the meat - crisped around the edges - was perfect. What was even better was that it was 4 minutes after happy hour and our super-friendly waitress let me have the happy hour price anyway. For $5 it completely filled me up. Ok so you can come here for the multiple HD TVs, the superb service, tasty menu, the not overcrowded atmosphere OR you can come JUST for the homemade chili. YUM! Surprisingly for a smaller local sports bar they have a good amount of tasty looking menu items (burgers, salads, bar appetizers, sandwiches) and selection of drinks. I came here on a Sunday afternoon to catch football and while it was busy, it wasn't overcrowded and we were still able to snag a seat halfway through the afternoon games. I've been to Riley's and Mojo's which all frequented this same space, and Roundin' 3rd is bar far my favorite. The decor is pretty simple, but in a non distracting and cozy way. There's plenty of booth seating as well as seating around the bars...and at least 15? 20? 8493? TVs hung on the wall so you have no excuse that you can't see at least three games at the same time. As aforementioned I was also pretty impressed with the menu. It has your standard sports bar menu items but with a touch of class and the food wasn't overly greasy and was well made. I loved the laid back atmosphere along with the really friendly service. Definitely a breath of fresh air compared to Buffalo Wild Wings. It has officially become my new favorite spot to watch sports (second to my home, since nothing can beat watching the game in PJs). The only reason I give one less star is because their additional bathroom was a port-a-potty =( Think it's only temporary, but not sure anyone's a fan of those things. read more
