One of the bays is open from time to time, but all of the traditional doors are locked tight and nobody is ever there. After trying the conventional doors, I finally waded into the garage and called out several times before the lone mechanic emerged from the far side of the most distant bay. I tried to explain my problem and interest in having him look at my car, but he seemed totally uninterested. I'm not sure if it was my heels, my short skirt or just the fact I was female, but he was incredibly condescending. As the daughter and granddaughter of a mechanic, with years of experience working on my own cars before moving to Boston, he was incredibly flippant, unprofessional and sexist. Not only did he refuse to look at my car, he was incredibly leery and unprofessional. This is a hobby garage and nothing more. This is a terrible garage. I would never recommend it to anyone.

if i had a kid in boston, i would INSIST that harry was the only mechanic working on their car…read more why? because he treats it like every car that comes in his daughter's car and goes above and beyond to make sure it's safe. it doesn't matter what you come in for - he's going to check your tires, top off your fluids, put the car on the lift and inspect the brake lines, hook up the compressor and blow all the leaves out from under your hood, etc. now i'm fairly capable when it comes to car stuff so i don't go to harry because i need babying. i go to him primarily because he does quality work at a fair price, but also because i'm interested in car maintenance and harry not only tolerates, but encourages my "what's that do? why'd you do it like that? what happens if we did this? why can't we do it that way instead? what was that thingy called again? can i try?". now i personally like going and hanging out, but if you want a quick in-and-out then harry's not your guy and you should probably hit up some corporate chain that won't bother you with things like asking about your family, and remembering your name. wouldn't wanna waste time that you could otherwise spend staring at a backlit screen.

I needed some routine services performed and had several minor warranty issues with my 2022 Stelvio Veloce. Everything was expertly addressed in a few hours and the experience was completely hassle free. I had my chill dog with me and the waiting area felt a bit compact, so we took a walk. There is a public bike path, a bridge over the Charles, a shaded park/reservation area, dog park, and shops and restaurants all within a relaxing 10-20 minute walk. If you own an Alfa in New England, 10/10 this is the dealership to go to. Perfect experience. Lots of fun things to do nearby Cambridge/downtown Boston if you want to make a couple days trip of it!! It had traveled across several states, so that's understandable. I didn't notice any damage when I met the shipper to pick it up. I immediately went to the car wash to rinse it off, and that's when I saw that the front bumper was damaged. I notified the dealership once I got home....that same day, not 2 days later like the owner is saying. I have photos, call logs, and emails showing the date. The dealership stated it wasn't like that when it left, so they called the shipper. Of course, they say they didn't do it either, so now I am stuck with a car that was supposed to be in perfect condition, that was delivered with a damaged front bumper. The owner of the dealership told me to buy touch up paint or file it on my insurance. I still have the email where he told me this. He acted like I was overreacting. I think not. I didn't agree to buy a damaged car. I don't know if the dealership or the shipper damaged the car, but someone needs to take responsibility for the damage. Update: The car was delivered on May 31st. I STILL have not received the title, so I can register the car in Texas. I've had 2 buy 2 30 day tags so far. That's about $62. It's the only way I can legally drive the car. The dealership is in Massachusetts, but when I called the dmv, they found out the car is titled in Connecticut, so now I'm having to pay to get a duplicate title sent to me from them. NEVER AGAIN!
