The veggies were hard in it and the salsa they smothered my omelet with tasted like chunky ketchup. Even the toast sucked, I even tried to fix it w jelly. The smell of this joint probably ruined my appetite. The pancakes were good. I still have the smell of this place stuck in my nostrils. My hubby would love to return... by himself because me and daughter didn't like it. I'd give two stars but gave an extra for my hubbys great experience. Don't pass on the pancakes.. They are huge fluffy buttermilk cakes that are amazing ... Pairs well with anything else I decided to get the biscuits and gravy and it was a huge meal. If you are looking for good ol' diner food, this is the place to be. We went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The place was packed with people but there is so much seating we did not have to wait long to get seated. It did take a little while for a waiter to come over and get our drink order but it was extremely busy so it was definitely understandable. I got the 2 eggs with corned beef hash dish and it was delicious. The dish came with home fries and toast. This diner will become a regular Sunday morning breakfast stop for me and the family. read more

I dropped something under the booth, and when I crawled underneath the table to get it, I noticed the cleanest restaurant floor I've ever encountered. Pretty impressive, especially for a diner. The food is good diner food. I've only had omelettes, but the lunch/dinner food looks tasty. Nice servers and the owner/manager seems to treat the staff with respect. My father and I have been eating here for 15+ years and the food is great. For reviewers like Shely M., Gary P. and Sarah P., I would remind them that this a diner, not a gourmet restaurant. The food here is great, the prices are right, and the staff is amazing. The manager (or owner) is out there working among the employees providing great service acting like a leader and not just a boss. Unless you are desperate and don't mind potential food poisoning I would recommend the pizza place next door or just about anywhere else!! The salad bar contained lettuce that was drenched in water and my "broiled flounder" was seriously undercooked on one side and burnt on another. Ate here with some friends and we all agreed the food was abysmal. One of my friends ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, which the cooks still managed to screw up. My roast turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy was awful: the mashed potatoes were dry, and turkey tasted bad by itself, but both were completely coated with the worst gravy I've ever tasted. None of us could force ourselves to eat it. However, the salad bar was good (despite not having vinaigrette) and the atmosphere was chill. She'd only been twice both times in the same week we went but this will probably stick out in even a 9 year olds memory for quite a while In fact this happened a few months back. We eat here at least once a week, for breakfast, lunch or dinner on Friday or Sunday afternoon. Today we had breakfast and were really disappointed. My potatoes and eggs were not even lukewarm, my Husband 's eggs were cold with scrapple that was horrible, potatoes were at most lukewarn and toast that the butter didn't even melt. The waitress never cam back to see if everything was OK except to bring the bill. We told her about everything that was unsatisfactory. She told us that everything was just made and came out. I don't think so, with cold toast and butter that didn't melt. She apologized. I went to pay the bill and the owner gave me a discount on our horrible breakfast of $1.50. Didn't even offer to take one breakfast off the bill and we consider ourselves as regulars and all the waitress know us, especially the waitress we had. My family of four has been going to this diner for at least three months on a weekly basis. We will not be going back. Recently my wife had a confrontation of sorts with the waitress and owner/manager. It all started when my wife read in the menu that "all senior meals" included two vegetables, bread and butter as well as some desert. When last I checked the word "all" meant everything. The waitress arrives and states that some of the senior meals do not include all of the items mentioned above. My wife ask why the menu is inaccurate. The answer my wife received was that is the way it is and the waitress proceeds to get in her face. The next day my wife calls the owner/manager. He did not apologize and kept repeating that they have no room on the menu to make changes. This sounds like BS. The real answer is that they really do not want to honor the senior menu. Why bother to have it at all. Apparently they would rather lose a customer and maintain that don't bother me attitude. This diner forgot that customers are paying for the meal. Went there with my mom during Christmas week. Arrived to find that during prime dinner time, there was exactly 1 other person in the place. Walked in, took 2 breaths, and immediately turned around and walked right back out again. The smell was horrible, moldy carpet mixed with food steamrolled into it. I have been here a few times and the food has always been good and reasonably priced. The other day, I had a Gyro platter and fries. The tzatiki sauce was phenominal, and they gave me plenty of it! I like this place and will definitely be back! Also, the menu is varied and the place has a quaint diner type of atmosphere. It is not fine dining, but it is good dining all the same.
