    Sweet cream pancakes

It depends what you are after for this place. Weekend nights you will usually find a decent crowd and live music but drinks are small served in tiny plastic cups and averages $8 a drink. If you're looking for food I recommend the breakfast with all you can eat sweet cream pancakes and freshly made to order traditional breakfast items. I did get charged a $2 upgrade charge for a tiny amount of hashbrowns instead of potatoes of some sort. The food is good. They also have great daily specials and select happy hour specials. My biggest complaint about this place is it is always freezing cold and the smokers that go in and out to the patio don't make it any better. I would not call this place classy in anyway more of a local dive.

Pretty decent pub food with an average bar setting for just hanging out. However, it has sneaky good acoustics along with awesome stage lighting for such a small music venue. Overall great place for free local performances in the Twin Cities.

We met some family members here for dinner and bingo. There was a special two piece chicken dinner for $5. The chicken was pretty good but I was disappointed in the mashed potatoes and gravy. I guess I was expecting chicken gravy but I'm not sure what kind of gravy it was. My husband and daughter ordered the pizza. They enjoyed it. We had a fun time playing bingo.

I've actually been here a few times I roughly average this place between 3 and 4 stars. Service is great, this place isn't so busy as a new restaurant. This establishment has gone down hill after pickle park. It still has the same vibe as pickle park. Service was great, our server was very nice and helpful. Food wise: Pretzel sticks- it was mediocre, reminds me of Applebee's version, With a softer texture inside Margherita flatbread- crust very crispy!!! I think it was too much cheese and not enough tomatoes. Overall not bad though! Wings - I've eaten plenty of times here, the sauces are just ok(we had Jamaican Jerk) but the chicken wings are meaty and decent size. Burgers - we tried few times and always had a good turn out, this time we tried The Harley Inferno. Wasn't that spicy but the bun was very soft and fresh. Beef patty seemed fresh because it was soft as I took a bite into it. It came with bacon and pepper jack cheese. It did not come with lettuce or any kind of sauce. The fries that came with burger - few people mention it's soggy. They use fresh potatoes so it has the soggy texture. I would suggest to tell the server to have them double fried. Soggy fries... I didn't mind! We asked for Cajun seasoning to dip or pour over fries, so we can be a little extra! Ha! I looked around the restaurant and most were eating the special for the night or broasted chicken. Will have to try that next time. Overall the place isn't bad, it's ok food, it still has the same vibe as before and also very similar foods from before.

Terrific food and great service at a reasonable price. 1) The first thing we noticed was the super FRIENDLY staff. It was "seat yourself" at the front door, but everyone was either greeted at the door or greeted very quickly after finding a chair. 2) The second thing we noticed was the LARGE interior. The bar area is substantial. And the upper deck dining area is very big. The booths are huge - nice! Last but not least, there's a giant guitar hanging from the ceiling! 3) All of our FOOD and drinks were very good. To top it off, it all came out fast & hot and was served with a smile. I didn't get sticker shock from the tab either. The prices are very reasonable. A lot of the crowd was a little rough looking. But that's actually exactly the way I like it! Next time, I'm going to time it so I can watch some live music. Thanks, Route 47 Pub & Grub! -Daddy Maxx Retro

Just had a club wrap there about an hour ago. And now my stomach is in an uproar. Had Ice water to drink. Will not be back.

We went this last week with a large group before a show and had another great experience. We didn't make any sort of reservation and they were able to seat us right away. The interior has that classic vintage pub feel with lots of character and natural light. There are tons of booths and different seating areas that could accommodate parties of all sizes. I especially liked the glass dividers between some of the booths, which give you a little extra privacy without making the space feel closed off. My booth also had coat hooks and easy access to outlets, which I appreciated. I could definitely see myself coming here for a working lunch. My server was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially as I was trying to figure out how to use a couple of rewards I had on my account. I specifically came in wanting to try the fish and chips. Their lunch menu offers smaller portions of several dishes from the dinner menu, including a fish and chips option for around $15. I really wanted to try the walleye, though, so I ended up ordering the full dinner portion for around $28. The fish was absolutely the star of the plate. The breading was fantastic--crunchy around the edges while still light and fluffy--and the fish inside practically melted in my mouth. The tartar sauce was also really good and paired perfectly with it. The sides, unfortunately, didn't impress me nearly as much. There were plenty of fries, but they were pretty average, and the coleslaw was mostly cabbage with a light dressing. It felt like it was missing some acidity or lime to give it a little more personality. For almost $30, I also expected the meal to be a bit more substantial. I left satisfied, but found myself hungry again a couple of hours later, so I'm not sure the dinner portion felt worth the price for me. If you're mainly curious about their fish and chips, I'd probably recommend trying the smaller lunch portion first rather than committing to the more expensive dinner version. Would I come back? Absolutely--the atmosphere, service, and location alone make The Local worth another visit, and I noticed several other dishes on the menu I'd be interested in trying. I just don't know that I'd order this particular meal again. The fish itself was excellent, but for me, the sides and overall value didn't quite match it.

It's also a bit hectic navigating the area after close, with how tight the streets where and people including the city stopping in the middle of street where you can't pass them. ...ok mini parking rant over. The event itself was a great time. Part of the event was set up outside which was interesting as it started at 5pm and gets dark around 6:30-7. I got there shortly after 7 and it was pretty dark. Not much lighting outside and where there was lighting... so many bugs *sad face*. I've been to this brewery before when Broken Clock was here. I love the space still, industrial look and feel. They have pin ball machines!! I got a seltzer - Paloma seltzer. Wasn't my fav but looked like they had some pretty solid beers so I'd go back to check those out later on. On the other side of the brewery they had a stage with a DJ playing music. Also a fire pit outside. So much going on. Overall a fun time.

They have a number of snack items for munching while enjoying the show. There were also food vendors like brick oven pizza bus, brats, and savory waffle cones. I didn't try any of the other beers except for the Bad Rod which was beer and lemonade. I'm a fruity beer drinker and can't handle sour or tart foods so can't have any of the sours on the menu. It was a beautiful day with breeze on the patio in the shade and live blue grass music in the background playing except for the large number of bees surrounding our table would make it an even perfect day! A nice place and ample spaces to be inside if needed.
