Upon delivery, the delivery team noted the washer was damaged with the whole left side, top to bottom dented in. They tried to tell me that would have no effect on the machine operation as there were no mechanics or wiring on the side. Side Note: During the haul away of my old machine, I requested removal / reinstall of the pedestal under the washer ($600 value) and was told they couldn't do that as prior issues with customer dissatisfaction!! They offered me a 10% discount on the purchase price of the damaged machine which I accepted. Afterall, I hadn't done laundry in a month!! Immediately after they left I started laundry. The wash/rinse cycle sounded like a train coming down the tracks so clearly the drum had been damaged. I immediately called the store to advise of the damage. I was told I would receive a "full refund" and pick up was scheduled for 12/30/2024. I was also told as soon as they received the product back in store they would process my "full refund". As I hadn't received a refund by 1/7/2025, I contacted the store. I was told they would research and call me back. 2 hours later I received a call back and was told they "found" my return at the back of the store, the pickup team hadn't advised the store department of the return!!! Seriously:(. A manager was required to approve my refund which turned out to NOT be a full refund. The cost for hauling-away I can understand. However, charging me for delivery of a damaged product, Lowe's could have gone a long way towards customer good will by crediting that amount back to me. It's like they don't think or don't care. Let's just say this was less than a stellar experience to the point that I will never shop Lowe's again!!! There are other options out there!!!!

How does a store go from eliciting words of praise one day to the worst customer service experience of the year? I went to Raks to have some keys made. Simple, right? If only that were true. I presented three keys for duplication. The rep, Josh, advised that he may not have a blank for one of the keys, to which I responded, "leave it out, I have copies of that one." Unfortunately, Josh was new and fixated on making all three keys. Once again, I asked that they leave out the difficult key. As a customer, I have a right to decide what I want or don't want to buy. I was irritated, but polite. Fast forward to checkout. The price was more than expected for a couple sets of keys and a length of chain. I asked the cashier to double check. She told me that the difficult keys were $4.99 each to which I replied, "I told them to leave that key out." The next thing I know, the cashier, 'Louise,' is repeatedly screaming at me to, "get out of her store." UNACCEPTABLE. It's not her store. If it were, she wouldn't be in business very long screaming at customers at and chasing them out of the store. I've spoken to management. I've contacted Do-it-Best. I am hopeful that Raks will make this right. How, you may ask? I would like a personal apology from Louise. Anybody who so freely and openly verbally abuses another human being in the course of business should, be held accountable to face that person in apologetic remorse. I had acquired some metal chairs for free through Craig's list. It was suggested by a local fence…read moreand security company to go to Ned's to find what I needed to repair the rusted legs on these chairs. I walked in and was greeted right away. Told the guy what I was looking for, I had the chairs with me so he could see exactly what I was trying to do. He looked at the chairs, took measurements and we went back in the store in search to get me what I needed for this project I wanted to do. Now, I was probably not needing steel to repair these legs but, hey I got these chairs for free and didn't want to spend too much time trying to find something that would match perfectly and they had been rusted out so I was looking for a fix more permanent. After having the right size found and cut I was looking forward to this project. Now, let me tell you why this place got 4 stars vs 5. As I go to the steel yard to get my steel I hand I was approached by a guy on forklift, hand the guy the paper, he looks at it and tells me to go to the back corner and wait. I get there and in a few minutes he cuts the first pieces, perfect. The second piece is a round piece...he cuts a square piece. I tell him that's not what I need, I don't need a square I need round. He tells me that the paper didn't have round on it. I looked and nope it didn't say square nor did it say round. So, he then looks for the right size round piece. A few min go by and here he comes on a fork lift with a 20 ft piece. Ok, cuts me my small piece and I check for size to make sure it fits the leg and it fits. I say thank you and I'm heading out. When heading out, there's a sign that says stop here to check out. There's a truck in front of me so I wait, the guy grabs his paper and waves him through. I get up there and the guy to check me out is now on the phone....I wait and he notices me but, keeps talking...I wait. A girl walks up and I go to hand her the paper, she yells to the guy on the phone, he seems agitated and tells her something and she's confused, and tells me, I don't know what he's doing...so, I tell her here's the paper for my metal, she yelled back to the guy on the phones and he yells back agitated at her and waves to her and tells her to let me go through. So, the customer service was good on the inside, friendly and helpful when you go in but, could of been more helpful to write round pice for the guy in the metal yard, and they need to work on customer service while heading out.
