I ordered a new washing machine on 11/26/2024. I waited a month for it and it was finally delivered 12/23. Upon delivery, the delivery team noted the washer was damaged with the whole left side, top to bottom dented in. They tried to tell me that would have no effect on the machine operation as there were no mechanics or wiring on the side. Side Note: During the haul away of my old machine, I requested removal / reinstall of the pedestal under the washer ($600 value) and was told they couldn't do that as prior issues with customer dissatisfaction!! They offered me a 10% discount on the purchase price of the damaged machine which I accepted. Afterall, I hadn't done laundry in a month!! Immediately after they left I started laundry. The wash/rinse cycle sounded like a train coming down the tracks so clearly the drum had been damaged. I immediately called the store to advise of the damage. I was told I would receive a "full refund" and pick up was scheduled for 12/30/2024. I was also told as soon as they received the product back in store they would process my "full refund". As I hadn't received a refund by 1/7/2025, I contacted the store. I was told they would research and call me back. 2 hours later I received a call back and was told they "found" my return at the back of the store, the pickup team hadn't advised the store department of the return!!! Seriously:(. A manager was required to approve my refund which turned out to NOT be a full refund. The cost for hauling-away I can understand. However, charging me for delivery of a damaged product, Lowe's could have gone a long way towards customer good will by crediting that amount back to me. It's like they don't think or don't care. Let's just say this was less than a stellar experience to the point that I will never shop Lowe's again!!! There are other options out there!!!! read more

Ordered a fancy refrigerator from this store in August. Was supposed to be delivered in November. When I call Lowes customer service to ask where my refrigerator is, they just give me another, later date. I have been paying since August. The latest "scheduled" date is in January. That's 5 months, folks. I don't believe this is in any way the fault of the Los Lunas location. I believe this is all on the Lowes corporate culture. Do Not Buy Appliances from them unless you are walking them out of the store and installing them yourself. Otherwise, you are going to get REALLY frustrated. Well, you might like paying for something you aren't getting, then, getting the run around about it for 5 months. If that's your thing, you are in for a lovely time. read more

I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews for businesses but my experience with Lowe's in Los Lunas was so bad that I feel like people need to know prior to spending their hard earned money on a large home improvement project. I am extremely disappointed in the process of ordering a custom kitchen from Lowe's. The timeline was very slow, wrought with many issues, and the workmanship was amateur at best. I began my design process in December of 2023 and placed the order for my cabinets in March. The cabinets took about 4 weeks to come in, which is the amount of time that Lowe's said it would take. After that though, things started to go down hill. One of the cabinets was broken and had to be replaced. I understand that things happen but the replacement cabinet took 6 weeks to arrive and the rest of the kitchen had to be put on hold until this other cabinet came in. When the replacement cabinet finally arrived, Lowe's did not send someone out to install it until August 28. While I was waiting for the replacement cabinet, I started noticing some issues with the workmanship regarding the installation of the other cabinets. For one thing, the space for the sink was supposed to be centered on the back wall but the cabinet installer didn't even look at the plans or measure so the sink was not centered. To further complicate matters, the openings under the sink were off center which led to one of the water shut-off valves being so close to the side of the cabinet that it could not be turned. During this time I also began to notice several other places where the cabinets had been damaged as a result of the installation, including several other places where jagged and sloppy openings had been made to accommodate pipes and electrical outlets. It was an amateur job. I realize that Lowe's also sells "scratch and dent" cabinets at a discounted price but I purchased new cabinets at full price and ended up with scratch and dent cabinets as a result of the unprofessional installation. Additionally, my kitchen was unusable from March until August, which is more than a little inconvenient. After all of these things, Lowe's was only willing to offer me an insultingly small partial refund of about 2.5% the total purchase price of the job I hired them to do. I would never use Lowe's again for any type of home installation project. Be aware that just because a big box store offers a service does not mean they are actually qualified to perform that service. Had I realized this, I would've hired a specialist who actually knew what they were doing. read more

Just a great experience all the way around. Pricing and customer service are wayyyyy above par. My second time doing business at this Lowes. This time, I got a great deal on a very nice French door refrigerator. Benny was the man on the showroom floor that did all the leg work, running to check stock and cogently answering every question about the different models I posed. They ended up price matching the unit for me and saving me even more money. Thanks Benny. The next day, my refrigerator was delivered right on time by Rodger and Ramon. These two guys really knew their job well, they were clean, quick, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They took extra care with this enormous refrigerator (weird how they look larger in your home than the showroom) to get it through my brand new door, across my newly finished floors, and into the nook. They hooked up the water lines, plugged the unit in, removed all the shipping tape and plastic covering, installed/purged the filter, then walked me through the nuances of the appliance. From top to bottom, Lowes of Los Lunas made my shopping experience a lot of fun. I'll certainly be shopping at their store again. read more

This is the first review I have ever posted but the customer service associate was so incredibly rude that I am leaving a review in hopes that management see it. I had a small problem with the same day delivery of an order. The actual problem was with the customer service associate, Jonny, who told me my only option was to pick up my order. When I asked to speak to a manager because there must be a way to cancel the order or ship it since I can not pick it up... which was why I paid the $15 delivery fee... the associate hung cup on me. I called back, and Lowes didnt pick up the phone, I assume Jonny was at the customer service desk and chose not to answer. I called again and he answered. I said I was calling to speak to a manager because he hung up on me, Jonny sarcastically said "oh I did?, let me try again". I was transferred and I spoke to Melissa the manager and she easily canceled my order and I am now able to just place a new order with shipping. This was at the Los Lunas, NM Lowes. read more

I stopped in to get some hardware. I passed three employees on my way to the hardware isle, none of them greeted me or asked if I needed anything. I could not find what I needed and went looking for an associate. I found two employees standing at the front talking to each other. I asked for help and hardware and I was told that they would have to page someone. I went back to hardware and waited for 15 minutes. During that time several associates passed the aisle without one stopping, or even looking in my direction. I finally got fed up with the horrible customer service, and walked out. On my way out I saw two more employees standing around talking to each other. Customer service is a joke there. There was not another single soul in the store. I went directly next-door to the Home Depot, was greeted by an associate who took me straight to the hardware aisle and showed me exactly where my needed items were. I was in and out in less time than I spent waiting in Lowe's to even be acknowledged. Never again will I visit the store I will just go straight to the Home Depot due to their superior customer service. I advise others to do the same. read more

I really like this store. Most the time workers are around to answer questions and help. Sometimes I have to find someone, but hey we are in Valencia County! This store has a great selection of just about anything a DIYer needs to get a project finished. The best part is when it is time to check out I don't have to check myself out!!! A person that the store hires and pays rings up my purchases and takes my payment. What a novel idea! That is why I shop this store over the one across the way. I don't want to be a cashier. I don't want to mess with a machine or wait for someone to check my id because I want to buy spray paint and the machine will let me ring up my own items but won't let me verify I am over 18! Thank you Lowe's for providing and paying for someone to ring up my items and check me out. This is very much appreciated! read more

13 cash registers and only one open, at least 20+ people waiting to check out, 10+ employees wondering around, telling customers they don't know why only one register is open, plus two guys in blue Lowe's polo shirts who appeared to be managers shooting the bull and joking around while customers were complaining about the lack of open registers. It shouldn't take 15+ minutes to complete a purchase. If your employees are not capable of running a register then install some self check out registers so customers can do it themselves. read more

Most incompetent store! I normally love Lowe's but the Los Lunas store is full of lazy people. I waited twenty minutes for someone to help me with keys. I called the store 4 times asking for a sales associate to help me and no one arrived. Sales people walked passed me and completely ignored me. I called when I left and asked to speak to the store manager. No one ever came to the phone. So I went to Home Depot and was approached by several associates and was taken care of promptly. I pushed every "Help" button in plumbing. Waited and waited. No one came. I finally called the switchboard on my cell and begged for an associate. No luck. Finally a nice man (who did NOT even work there) went to the front, got a flat bed cart and loaded the item for me. Terrible service but that is the norm for Lowe's and Home Depot. Sticking with the small town Ace store near me. The prices are a bit higher but there are a ton of folks there who are happy to help. I just spent $2,500 there and am wishing I hadn't! read more
