My family and I were looking for a coffee shop along our drive and this place was close by. It is a cute little coffee shop and the baristas inside were great and super friendly! I decide to get an Iced Bryce Canyon Latte. It has banana in it so I definitely wanted to give it a try and get something different than I would normally order. You can definitely taste the banana and it had a good amount of sweetness to it. My husband tried the Carlsbad Cavern Latte which was almond and cheesecake. That one I liked a bit more than mine. I do love the almond flavor so I knew I would like that one!

Decent cold treats (vanilla ice cream & black raspberry gelato for us) served by friendly outgoing young folks behind the counter. The sorbet tasted pleasant, but I couldn't quite identify the flavor that wasn't in line with any black raspberries I've ever had in the past. Its texture was a very smooth and fine granularity in its icy base. Ice cream was acceptably rich flavored & creamy texture. One demerit for either not having or else being unwilling to make decaf coffee for my travelling companion. I'd be glad to stop in again for scoopable or caffeinated treats at Route 66 Coffee and Boba.

As native San Franciscans, we were totally surprised at finding a boba place outside of ABQ off the freeway, even if it was tiny and out of the way. We immediately ordered the Mango green tea and the Orange creamsicle slush. The mango green tea was watered down and extremely weak, and the boba was rock hard. Maybe we're spoiled with our plethora of Bay Area boba options, but the mango green tea was essentially flavorless sugar water. However, the orange creamsicle was delicious and refreshing; we got it with pineapple jellies and peach popping boba. I wouldn't recommend the boba at all, but the other drink options were quite good. Make sure to ask for extra sweet if you do choose any teas. Parking was plentiful and the cafe-like interior was homey and cozy. This place was a surprising haven for last-minute boba if you left ABQ's main city, although I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Stopped in for an afternoon pick me up and wasn't sure I wanted coffee so picked up an Iced Almond Milk Chai Tea!! It was ok but a little light on flavor.. not the best Chai I have ever had.. but thankfully I had Chai powder at home and added a little more to give it some more flavor!! The space is cute inside and some outside seating. They have a drive through as well. Service was very kinda and friendly. I'd try them again but maybe get something else. I would not say their chai is their specialty.. However hopefully their coffee is better!!

Living in the east mountains you get accustomed to not having easy access to things. There are two coffee shops up here and both are great and good. One in Cedar Crest, original, magnificent, unique menu, locally owned, great staff, you get the idea. It's just not a convenient location for me. The other is inside a store with a horrific parking situation it's a chain and has lost its appeal with their poor customer service. So let's take about the little hidden gem. I have seen the place for a couple of years now but was never willing to try. I really wanted a boba tea and was heading to Albuquerque anytime soon. I was at the local grocery store and thought hey let's try here. Guess what?? It's fantastic!! The girl that helped us was amazing and patient has we decide what to order. She was made light conversation with being awkward. Our drinks were in adorable cups and just delicious. So lesson learned be brave try that place set up in odd place

Coffee was great. Girls were too busy to make recommendations. Cute little space with indoor and outdoor seating.

    Hot Latte.

Stopped in for some Joe on the highway. Shop was easy to find. Friendly service and lots of locals enjoying their morning brew. She had MANY flavors for coffee and Italian sodas. I but banana in my hot latte. Hit the spot. Will stop again.

So excited to have a Good coffee place in the East Mountains! The owner is super nice, always friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Their water is bottled so no Edgewood water there! They now carry Rise & Roast donuts (YAY). They offer Boba which is delicious and the kiddos love it! Coffee is, like I said, best in the East Mountains! Go Check them out!!

Very delicious over ice ,green tea and peach and mango pearls it's very good

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

Sadly it's not the awesome atmosphere , or the yummy coffee which rates this spot a 3. They "had"…read morethe best donuts and pastries I have ever tasted. Mind you they were pricey- 1.85 to 1.95 each. It was because of high price I avoided trying this lil spot of pastry heaven. Then it happened- GASP- Walmart out of my faves- shock was deepened when Smiths was too. What's a chubby donut seeker to do? It had been a week. My mind went into deep despair, I got dry mouth too- I gotta have my weekly bad- my Sunday morning treat- now my coffee is all I have- one a week - that's all I need. Is that asking too much? So- weakened by the thought of this crisis, I caved. I' ll buy just one. One apple fritter- I'll be ok. Well let me tell you something- you know in the movie "married to an axe murderer" the scene where the dad is venting about how KFC has a secret ingredient which makes you crave it fortnight? Yea well KFC has nothing on these guys. I am telling you those pastries must be made by angelic beings. Big fluffy fritter- the perfect crunchy outside, followed by soft fluffy inside, combined with perfect apple to cinnamon ratio. When you took that first bite, it floated into your mouth in the most satisfying way- flavors perfectly wafting across my tastebuds in perfect harmony- oh? Coffee? I dun need no steenkun coffee- gimme anutter fritter-it was divine. Next week I visited again- this time- chocolate Bavarian cream- again with the made in heaven dough- topped with the creamiest thick layer of what had to be the best chocolate I ever tasted- and not that stingy little dab others offer - it was exquisite. The filling? Real Bavarian cream- tasted like a cool, perfectly sweet , creamy cloud - which danced in perfect time with the chocolate and dough- and it lingered there on my taste buds- just long enough for them to enjoy the florals of the vanilla. Week three. I walk in- WHAT?? WHERE ARE THEY? The display case - GONE! In its place? This tiny little grease filled fryer- with tiny little cake things floating in it- next to that? Your choice of sprinkles- when I asked "for the love of all things donut WHY"- why? The cashier said the vendor refused to continue delivery of the others so they decided this was a good idea. Well I picked my jaw up from the counter and we left....heart broke and hands trembling- my Sunday morning treat will never be the same . Not sure what or why- but this lil stop lost a big hunk o glory- still good coffee and atmosphere- but without those donuts it's just not the same.

I spent most of the previous day cycling East from amazing Quemada on US60, so a refreshing/regenerating overnight was essential. Obviously, I needed an equally refreshing/energizing start and this cafe--now named "Evetts" (formerly Espresso)--was the absolutely the BEST place to start! Besides unique/fresh/nutritious meals, I was almost shocked and delighted to learn that affogato was available. When biketouring/travelling, this is one of the greatest morning treats I've ever had--not only plenty of needed caffeine, and (¡probably unneeded!) sugar. I enjoyed other filling dishes before continuing my Eastern direction on US60 to SocorroNM. I didn't cycle away immediately--Magdalena is such an attractive/"unknown/undiscovered" community in which the history lives on with the structures restored/repurposed! The abandoned tracks have a great roadbed waiting for more full development/hiking-biking trail for use by locals and long-distance enthusiasts alike. ¡This is such a tremendous community, and I look forward to returning--I'll plan to stay at least TWO nights for a full experience! It definitely has my coveted "iWheel of Approval!" ¡Highly recommended'
